Not my first time using Yokohama has base for Tokyo trip, hotels here are generally bigger but less expensive, the area Minatomirai is very clean, modern and convenient with its accessible train lines which stops at almost all my favorite destinations and there’s a direct airport limo bus too! I like hotels around here for their 5 star worthy status but at rates that’s a fraction of their Tokyo counterparts, rooms here are much bigger and usually comes with a view of Yokohama bay. Malls here offer all the convenience you get in Tokyo but usually less crowded. However, Intercontinental Yokohama charges a fee for using the swimming pool (JPY 4400) whereas its neighbor Yokohama Bay doesn’t.

A convenient location close (walking distance) to Pacifico Exhibition Center, close to Yokohama sea side and railways station (10 minutes walking). We have been disappointed by the restaurant working hours (last service 8pm) and by the Business Center, very small, old and not really clean. Carefull with check in hours (3pm) if you have a very early flight

Overall very good. The dining options were very limited and closed by 8pm. The lobby and hallways were over heated. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The best thing was the excellent view of the harbour. To use the pool you need to pay to become a member. Not sure of the cost.

I had stayed there several times in the past and it is a very nice hotel, conveniently located next to the convention center. The room we had was ok, but not as great as you'd expect from this hotel. Breakfast is really great! The gym is only open from 8am to 9pm so it was useless for us (I'd go early in the morning or later in the evening).

みなとみらい駅から近く、とても便利でした。開港イベントをしていたので少し賑やかでしたが、お部屋から海が見えて、とても居心地がよく11時チェックアウトだったので、ゆっくりできました。ベッドもとても寝心地がよかったです。朝食のビュッフェは、特にパンがとても美味しかったです。ただ…お風呂のシャワーカーテンに黒いカビが生えていたのが残念でした。

予約時の電話対応からスタッフの方々がとても優しく、子供達にも良くして下さり非常に良かったです。ただ、バスルームが少しカビの様な匂いがして、シャワーヘッドに黒ずんだ部分がありました。子供達がシャワーの水を口に入れてしまわないかお風呂の際、気を使いました。そこだけが少々残念でした。それ以外は夜景もキレイに見えて、朝食も美味しく頂けてとても良かったです。

横浜で結婚式を挙げた際に宿泊した、横浜インターコンチネンタルホテルに久しぶりに宿泊しました。ヨットが白い帆を広げた美しい外観は、25年前と変わらない美しい佇まいでした。チェックインすると「上層階に空室がある」とのことで、29階の部屋へアップグレードされていました。 2924号室に入室すると、室内も落ち着いた雰囲気は変わらずに、窓からコスモクロックと横浜の夜景は変わらず素晴らしいものでした。しかし、バスルームに入るとなんか匂う、タオルを部屋干しして生乾きになったような匂いが漂っていました。タオルを確認しましたが原因ではなく、バスタブと洗面台、それとシャワールームから匂います。水を流すと匂いが軽減するので、どうやら排水口が原因のようです。横浜アリーナへLIVEに行った後のチェックインでしたので、夜も遅くフロントには連絡はしませんでした。他の方のレビューにもありましたが、楽しみにしていた「フル•ブレックファスト」も一般的で、結婚25年銀婚式の節目に思い出のホテルに宿泊したのですが非常に残念な結果となりました。もう、二度と宿泊することはないでしょう。

Excellent service, quick check in. Let us leave our bags when we arrived in the morning so we could shop. View of harbour is beautiful. Close to Cosmo World, train station, World Porters, Cup Noodle Museum. The room I had was dated and smelled like smoke, but very clean.

部屋に滞在中にベルやノックなしに施錠している部屋に携帯電話を耳にあてながら入ってきました。お詫びもなくなぜ入ってきたのかの説明もなく「水はいるか」といって出ていった。サービスデスクにクレームを入れ確認後折り返しかかってきました。清掃のスタッフが間違えて入室したという説明でしたが、納得できるものではなく非常に不安な気持ちでした。その後夕食に外出しましたが、誰か勝手に入ってきてないか気になってゆっくりできませんでした。最近物騒なので非常に怖い思いをしました。

Hotel is supposed to be a high-class establishment and is indeed a spacious and beautiful building. But we had a terrible time to check in despite the fact that I communicated with the hotel beforehand several times. It took close to 2 hours for us to settle in the suitable room since the original room wasn’t ready for our need and the way they tried to rearrange the room was insane and completely unacceptable. After talking so many staff members, we finally got the new room. Frankly, the treatment and attitude of hotel were terrible. We got an impression that all they are concerned about that hotel is money. Maybe most of their customers are rich people who don’t care about anything. We travelled various places in Japan for two weeks and stayed 6 different hotels for this trip. This hotel was the most luxurious one but the worst experience we ever had. I travelled all over Europe and Japan in last 50 years but I have never had this bad experience with a hotel in my life!

遠方に住む祖母と私と娘と女子旅で利用させて頂きました。チェックインの際、同じ料金でグレードアップの部屋が空いているとのことで高層階へ部屋を変更してくださったり、朝食券を忘れたのに、前日ディナーでお世話になった女性スタッフに「昨日確認とれております。チケットは取りに戻らなくて大丈夫ですよ。」と融通をきかせてくださったり、最高のスタッフさんでした。部屋からの眺めも最高で、とても最高な旅でした。ありがとうございました。一つだけ、、、2歳の娘は宿泊料なしですが娘の分のお水や歯ブラシがおいてあったらもっと最高でした！！

Great location, but the facility was in severe decline and customer service was not inviting. The front desk was confrontational at check in and I made no further effort to address other issues. I purchased the room with breakfast for three (me, wife and child of 10yrs). When I made reservations the app was not functioning in the location, so I went with a third party reservation. The reciept from the third party was very specific and clear about what I purchased. Still, I had to pay additional because the child was over 3 years old. The sink in our room was leaking badly and the floor was very slippery. Rug/Carpet was thread bare. Breakfast was ok, but not a large selection. There was no noodle selection and the rice was cold. Also, Breakfast doesn’t open until 7am. There was no coffee or tea selection otherwise, except in the room which had a odd slow drip pouch cartridge that required about 20 steps just to get a cup of coffee. I was not impressed for over $400 + breakfast cost per night.

Amazing view and excellent service The hotel offers a stunning view of Yokohama. The staff were very kind and attentive - even though the system was down and the check-in took a bit longer, they kindly offered us a complimentary drink while we waited. The amenities were of high quality and overall, it was a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Easy 20 min walk from the port cruise terminal. Very nice hotel with great views either sea or city sides. Rooms large and clean. Easy walking to restaurants, shopping, ferris wheel, museums. Limousine bus tickets (for airport transfer) reserved at concierge desk and picks up at their door.

The buffet at breakfast needs to be changed every few days by offering other products, it gets boring having the same choices. The rooms are tired and need a renovation. The restaurants need to stay open later, closing at 8pm is early - breakfast times need extending as they have massive queues. They don’t take notice of requests in reservations - they requested the reason for the afternoon tea but did nothing with this information, I booked this for my birthday but didn’t get any acknowledgment so no point asking for reason of booking

This is a beautiful hotel located on the water. It was close to all sightseeing along the waterfront. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom could use an update but was clean and functional. The breakfast buffet was amazing with Japanese and western options.

ホテルのスペース・サービス・その他は問題ありません…が、朝食バッフェスタイルについて問題あり。　時間帯に行ったのですが長い行列❗️ 更に高い朝食代の割には、粗末な…⁉️と、言うよりありきたりの安価なホテルと変わらないメニュー。翌日帝国ホテルに泊まったのですが、予算的には全く同じ様な価格帯なのに美味しく❣️ゆったりで素晴らしかったので、故に、なおさらがっかりでした。

The hotel room was the largest we had in Japan. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was great ..right next to the Cup Noodle Museum and Cosmo World. Great views of the harbour and nice to walk along the harbour front. We enjoyed the afternoon tea set in the restaurant.

I agree with other reviews. Lovely smart hotel with very attentive staff, in a great location, with a shopping mall (Queens) and eateries close by in World Porters. The rooms are very large, as was the double bed (English super king size), comfortable beds but pillows too soft. Rooms are dated but it doesn’t spoil anything. Would stay again. There’s also a subway in Queens shopping mall with connections to Tokyo and Shin Yokohama stations.

It is an amazing hotel and the staff can not do enough for you. Was a bit surprised the bar shuts at 930, but can’t fault the hotel. Great location for cruises and enjoying Yokohama and any other places you want to visit.
