Shame on the Marriott for charging £10 a day in wi-fi Fee - I paid it without argument- but feel hoodwinked - as no idea that was the charge or how I was linked into that charge . Also £5 per day parking is a cheap shot too .. again didn’t know until booking in …

I stay here most Thursday and twice i have had the fish and chips and twice the fish has been shocking due to the amount of bones in it will not be caught a third time. And the wifi is bad in the rooms which i am looking to stop elsewhere.

The location right on Swansea Beach was perfect in December and I am sure it will be even better in the summer. The hotel has all the facilities you would expect from a Marriott and the staff were lovely - especially the lovely lady who seats you for breakfast! My only warning would be there was an extra £10 charge for parking added which I was not expecting. You would struggle to find cheaper in that location, I imagine, but I just was not expecting it.

The location right on Swansea Beach was perfect in December and I am sure it will be even better in the summer. The hotel has all the facilities you would expect from a Marriott and the staff were lovely - especially the lovely lady who seats you for breakfast! My only warning would be there was an extra £10 charge for parking added which I was not expecting. You would struggle to find cheaper in that location, I imagine, but I just was not expecting it.

Clean room, a little dated. Noisy heater which woke me up a couple of times. Comfy bed and nice bedding. Staff all polite and friendly. Breakfast was fine. Parking on site £5 a night. Didn’t use the bar - it was quite busy. Lovely view across the bar to The Mumbles

Lovely room overlooking the Marina. Breakfast was excellent, service also very good. We have stayed before, would definitely recommend. Good to see the addition of a fitness centre also.

Based on the image provided with the listing I thought this hotel was in a much nicer building than it was, there was a lot of mould in my room by the window so I had to relocate rooms, the bathroom wasn't that clean and the bedroom was freezing. Disappointed especially as this is advertised as "newly renovated".

Lovely last minute night away. Haven’t stayed here for a while and I think the rooms have been refurbished. Very nice. Only two issues. Very musty smell in the room which I think comes from no window ventilation. Loads of condensation running down the window after a shower and the air conditioning didn’t work when we got there. Assuming it’s on a timer but it was cold. But good stay.

This hotel is currently totally surrounded by scaffolding and look more like a building site than a hotel. Check in was 3pm I use your hotels for comfort and a nice service. Was told when I arrived at 4.45 that my room was not ready. I made them aware I have work to do as I travelled on business. Finally got in my room at 6.10 pm was really behind on my work and ended up having food delivered to my room

I cannot thank or praise the Hotel and staff enough. We have just returned home after another stay at the hotel for our childrens birthday weekend. This is the 5th year in a row Troy now 12 and Mila now 7 have chosen a stay at the hotel over a birthday party. Our room was amazing and dressed for the birthday celebration. We were totally blown away with the cake, presents,cards and room decoration! Total vip treatment. Bruno ( front desk reception) and Lynne ( cast iron restaraunt) Could not have done more to make us more welcome and feel like super stars! The location is perfect for a family with access to the marina, beautiful promenade,winter wonderland and the bustling town centre. The Delta Marriott in Swansea will make you feel like you are visiting a family home! Amazing weekend and could not have picked a more perfect venue to celebrate Troy and Milas birthday. 5 years on they are still chosing to stay at this hotel.... I hope they pick it next year! Amazing experience where staff totally care. Thankyou so much Sean Nush Troy and Mila

Overall quite good. Rooms were clean, comfortable nd the staff were friendly. However had to wait for an hr for food one night nd the waiter was poor when i asked him for an update. Had to ask him twice as he failed to report back to our table.

It’s a great location stayed as we were going to a concert and the venue is about a 2 minute walk away. Parking reasonably priced at £5 per night, could have been free but not a rip off. Restaurant food was really quite good and service excellent staff asked if we were going to the concert and served as promptly as we were. There are some nice flat walks locally which is great for a leg stretch after being in the car. Would recommend.

The Staff always welcomed us with a smile & were very helpful. The Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice for all tastes .. a lovely start to each day. But the evening meal of Sea-bass & Veg was a disappointment. A half of one small Sea-bass, two strands of tender stem broccoli & a few Parmentier potatoes (priced @ £20!) .. it most certainly didn’t fit the description of being a ‘Large Plate’ ! The ‘side order’ of roasted Mediterranean Veg wasn’t good either .. more like an ‘oil slick’ .. simply no resemblance at all to proper roasted vegetables.

The room looked pleasant enough if not a little dated. There was work being done on the building. My room was on the ground floor near the entrance so it was quite noisy with people walking past to go out and come home in the evening my meal in the restaurant Was rather poor. The pork belly was very tough and chewy to eat and wasn’t well presented on the plate. The service however was wonderful and the waiting staff are very attentive.

Stayed for the night as we were going to the Arena for a Concert. Great at check in Room lovely and clean and well laid out Bed could have been better. Better beds in Premier Inn believe it or not Great staff very friendly Breakfast was a hit with plenty of choice Paid £5 to park overnight which was great as Arena is in walking distance. All in all a great visit and will definitely be going back.

Building is undergoing roof works so is covered in scaffolding - however no interruptions and inside was an oasis of calm. Staff across all departments were exemplary and the room was comfortable bright and well appointed - food in the restaurant was excellent in the evening and breakfast to excellent with plenty of options

There were no towel rails and just 2 hooks next to each other meaning more or less just one big hook. Also toilet was very slow to refill after flushing. I do think the residents of the hotel should have free parking and not have to pay even the £5 per 24 hours charge. Apart from those small things, everything was good.

Nice an clean but not necessary the most modern Room was good size but the furniture can do with updating Breakfast had a good variety of cooked breakfast but no fresh vegetables, I enjoyed it but my husband didn't

I’ve stayed at the Swansea Marriott a few times previously for both work and leisure. Staff are always professional, helpful and friendly. It was good to see that the rooms have been refurbished. The upgrade has made a positive difference. The location is ideal and parking and location is very safe.
