The hotel is very close to the main road from the M4, making it a convenient location - easy access from the motorway and just a short drive into the city, or wonderful Gower beyond. There is ample parking available, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The Ibis would do well to remove cars parking on the slip road into the hotel during working hours - they are an obstruction and nuisance. Rooms on the main road side are noisy - next time I'll make sure we're on the car park side.

A great hotel. Clean and comfortable, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were more than adequate, and the beds we’re pretty comfortable too. I’d stay again if I was in Swansea for anything else.

Lovely property, the staff were amazing and made us feel welcome. They even up-graded us to a downstairs room because of our dog. It is not often we have felt that well looked after, thank you

The hotel parking and facilities were very good the food was very good especially the breakfast which was great. all of the staff were very polite friendly and gave a top level service, especially Nicola and Oliver the chef. I have stayed in many top level hotels all over the world including Raffles, shangrila & Taj Mahal. I was very surprised how good this hotel was and was very impressed with the staff and the level of friendly service they gave. I have another job booked for a month from 9th May 25. I will be booking in to this hotel for this visit and look forward too seeing the staff again. Many thanks Best regards Tony Cleal Technical Director

I've never stayed in an IBIS hotel before, but i will definitely be back. The staff were ever so polite, professional friendly and helpful. The whole place was very clean, the bar and restaurant were excellent, well cooked, plenty of choice and tasty. It was an easy 20 min walk into the centre of Swansea making it an ideal place for a lovely quite stay but close to the city.

Ideal hotel if you’re visiting Swansea Arena. Was only just over a fiver for an uber/taxi. Really friendly staff and a lovely bar and lounge area. The road side of the hotel is quite noisy, although didn’t worry us as we normally sleep with a fan on at night, so the noise wasn’t a trouble. The only real issue was the thickness of the mattress. Beds only have a thin mattress and a topper, which for us wasn’t very comfortable. We also found the pillows were super soft and weren’t very supportive , it would have been nice to have a couple of firmer ones in the room to give guests an option.

The people working in the hotel were fantastic and very friendly the hotel itself there was black mold in the shower there were no benches outside so every time you went in and out you saw people standing everywhere smoking they need to do something more for the comfort of their customers

The room was not clean. There was a spackled wall, the bathroom door looked like it was hit by a car, and there was no toilet paper holder. There was limited food offerings. I did not feel safe in this hotel.

This hotel is great value for money, no frills but if you're ok with that its worth a stay. A few idiosyncrasies, couldnt get any BBC channels the hotel tv system and the room layout was a bit all over the place. Another big plus is free parking.

Check in was quick and the room was as described. The hotel is a little way out from the centre, but you should be aware of this if you are booking this place. The SweetRooms are worth paying the extra for as the ordinary rooms are really basic. The hotel is really due for a refurbishment and this can be seen in the general condition of the rooms. However, it is clean and does the job when there is availability at a good price.

The bed was roxk hard so gave us trouble getting to sleep as i may aswell slept onthe floor thats what my body was telling me the next day There was no access to any female products ie womens sanatary pads or tampax. Which mean a trip to the garage late at night You could not watch the tv without a code when asked thereceptiinist could not say On the brighter side breakfast was fantastic and a huge range to choose from

Have stayed previously, in a ground floor room as we had a dog with us and was great. This time was in the second floor overlooking Fabian Way, which was quite noisy even in the evening so hence could not open the window making room really warm!

The hotel was great for a 2 night stay with my dog. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. On the first night we couldn’t get the TV or heater to work and it was bitterly cold but the staff on reception fixed both problems straight away. Thank you Swansea Ibis.

I have stayed here on 4 different occasions. I think the staff are superb and a credit to the hotel. It is reassuring to see the same staff whenever I visit. They are always willing to help, but with a smile.

The place itself is very good. It's a shame it's in an industrial estate, as there's no where to go that is a short walking distance. Fine if you had a car. Very warm welcome. When we got to the room, we had no towels. Went to reception. Breakfast is great. Great selection. Evening meals could be better. The bar could have a better selection also. But overall a pleasant stay

HOTEL JUST OUT TO THE EAST OF SWANSEA CENTRE, A BUS RIDE AWAY WITH FREQUENT SERVICES. HOWEVER THE No51 BUS, EVERY 20MINS IS A 5MIN WALK TO THE HOTEL, FROM FABIAN WAY PARK & RIDE. THIS WAS NOT FOUND OUT TILL THE DAY OF DEPARTURE. A GOOD IDEA WOULD BE TO SHOW THE No51 BUS DETAILS IN THE RECEPTION AS OTHER SERVICE BUS STOPS DROP OFF NO WHERE NEAR THE IBIS; WEATHER WAS BAD, RAIN RAIN & MORE RAIN ALL FREE !! APART FROM THAT ALL GOOD.
HOTEL JUST OUT TO THE EAST OF SWANSEA CENTRE, A BUS RIDE AWAY WITH FREQUENT SERVICES. HOWEVER THE No51 BUS, EVERY 20MINS IS A 5MIN WALK TO THE HOTEL, FROM FABIAN WAY PARK & RIDE. THIS WAS NOT FOUND OUT TILL THE DAY OF DEPARTURE. A GOOD IDEA WOULD BE TO SHOW THE No51 BUS DETAILS IN THE RECEPTION AS OTHER SERVICE BUS STOPS DROP OFF NO WHERE NEAR THE IBIS; WEATHER WAS BAD, RAIN RAIN & MORE RAIN ALL FREE !! APART FROM THAT ALL GOOD.

I've never stayed in an IBIS hotel before, but i will definitely be back. The staff were ever so polite, professional friendly and helpful. The whole place was very clean, the bar and restaurant were excellent, well cooked, plenty of choice and tasty. It was an easy 20 min walk into the centre of Swansea making it an ideal place for a lovely quite stay but close to the city.

Ideal hotel if you’re visiting Swansea Arena. Was only just over a fiver for an uber/taxi. Really friendly staff and a lovely bar and lounge area. The road side of the hotel is quite noisy, although didn’t worry us as we normally sleep with a fan on at night, so the noise wasn’t a trouble. The only real issue was the thickness of the mattress. Beds only have a thin mattress and a topper, which for us wasn’t very comfortable. We also found the pillows were super soft and weren’t very supportive , it would have been nice to have a couple of firmer ones in the room to give guests an option.

I did not have breakfast at the hotel. I went to McDonald’s because it was literally down the road plus I took my porridge with me because all it is you just gotta add hot water to it. I had an overall good stay at this hotel. It was very quiet as you’re not near the town centre. Have stayed previously, in a ground floor room as we had a dog with us and was great. This time was in the second floor overlooking Fabian Way, which was quite noisy even in the evening so hence could not open the window making room really warm!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room could do with redecorating (scuffs and marks on walls and painteork). They didn't seem to offer much in the way if a vegan breakfast so we decided not to have breakfast there.

The hotel parking and facilities were very good the food was very good especially the breakfast which was great. all of the staff were very polite friendly and gave a top level service, especially Nicola and Oliver the chef. I have stayed in many top level hotels all over the world including Raffles, shangrila & Taj Mahal. I was very surprised how good this hotel was and was very impressed with the staff and the level of friendly service they gave. I have another job booked for a month from 9th May 25. I will be booking in to this hotel for this visit and look forward too seeing the staff again. Many thanks Best regards Tony Cleal Technical Director

The best selection for breakfast that I've experienced. All staff cheerful and genuinely interested in why we were staying there ( for a concert) it's our 2nd visit and both times have been outstanding.

Our first night in the hotel was a disaster due to a guest staying below us that was screaming, banging doors, thumping the walls so loudly that it affected most of the other guests in the hotel, from about 1am until about 3.30am we called reception and the young lady that was on duty was already aware and had tried to sort it out but the person involved was apparently so aggressive that the police had been called. All the staff we met were helpful, the room was OK for what we needed but the disturbance was unacceptable as we had specifically requested a quiet room in the hotel. We met other guests that were equally upset by this situation.
