Great hotel in the heart of the town. Amazing breakfast included, pool, residents bar and noon check out. The way hotels used to be before covid, well looked after. Always weddings on, so bar busy in the evenings up to 2am, but a great bit of craic if you like a late drink at your hotel.

Lovely hotel. Parking underneath in car park. Ticket from reception allowing free use during our stay (barcode ticket to use). Comfortable and a nice breakfast. The sticky toffee pudding is huge and shareable.

Staff vary pleasant. Leisure centre vary clean and good place to spend an hour Drinks in bar expensive bars just down the road much cheaper. Really need to do something with outdoor space could be vary nice area to sit and enjoy a coffee or a drink Also don't think residents should have to pay for parking. Bar menu expensive. If they want to keep guests in hotel should look at reducing bar price's

The service at breakfast was excellent, especially for my vegan sister, 1 member of staff in particular went out of her way to offer vegan options. The fresh fruit selection was v poor on our first day and excellent on our second. The cooked b'fast was poor...tasteless tomatoes, dried up bacon. The beds were comfy & the room large. The carpet on our room needed a deep clean and the chairs in the bar/food area were so dirty it put me off my meal.

Dreadful hotel and to add insult to injury I had to pay nearly EUR 300 for the pleasure. The rooms were dirty, the towels were dirty, the pillows were lumpy, the bathroom was mouldy and stank, the curtains were mouldy also.

Room spotless, staff attentive, good amenities, breakfast excellent, great to have the addition of takeaway cups for the coffee machine. Only negatives are the corridors looked very tired and in need of updating as did some of the furniture around the foyer. I'm lead to believe a refurb is planned.

I don't often write negative reviews, but this property is just sad. It once must have been a nice hotel, but certainly not any more due to filthy conditions and lack of maintenance. First, the shower was not usable because the drain was completely plugged. It must not have been cleaned in a long time since it would have been noticed by the cleaners. Not just slow, completely clogged. The sink in the bathroom was full of mold. The coffee maker in the room was absolutely disgusting and not even put together properly. The carpet was badly stained, paint peeling on the walls, unsealed cracks everywhere. The tub had obviously not been cleaned since the last use. The view from our suite on yhe top floor was outstanding, but that is about all. Luckily we only booked it for one night and could not get out fast enough. The staff did not seem to care at all about these issues, so I assume they must hear these all the time.

Room was nice but difficult to cool down even with AirCon set, it was noisy. There was no conditioner or shower gel in the shower and I didn’t notice this until I was already soaking wet as the bottles were empty! Not great after paying extra for a Junior Suite!! On checkout the staff member didn’t ask how our stay was so I had to volunteer the information and all they said was ‘sorry about that’ Hotel is lovely and central, modern look and food was good.

I have stayed in Whites many times and like it. The staff are friendly and helpful the location is good and the hotel is comfortable. However this stay was disappointing as I ordered breakfast to the room and this never arrived. (The breakfast order card placed outside the door had been collected) .This messed up my plans for the morning and I had to pay for breakfast at another location!

For the price it was disappointing. No hot water on Saturday morning and a poor excuse for it and unapologetic attitude. Nothing offered as compensation. Room was decent but the bath had hair in it and not so much as a bottle of water left as a welcome. Breakfast was good. Location is central in Wexford town

Wanted room service. Friends had nice brochure with nice menu. Our jr suite did not. I asked for one at front desk. He didn’t have one but I should ask in restaurant. They didn’t have any. Took pic of dining menu to room to order. Poor handling. Wanted to relax and eat in room but had to run around for service.

Reception staff very friendly, bar staff courteous but breakfast staff indifferent and a terrible buffet breakfast. Food was cold, asked for fresh eggs twice as chef brought them out and took back as there old congealed miserable eggs under the heater.

The hotel is well located in the town. Short walking distance to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its a peaceful hotel and I found my stay relaxing, which is what I was hoping for. I would definitely stay there again.

To call the place terrible is unfair, but it falls so short of how it is described online I had to write this review. Most of the staff are great and helpful, the rest are unpleasant and incorrect about literally everything we asked them. Our dinner took an hour to arrive and not what we ordered. The hotel is generally unclean, and we had to move rooms late at night due to an infestation of carpet moths. Our second room had a blocked sink and smelt of sewage. To call the place terrible is unfair, but it falls so short of how it is described online I had to write this review. Most of the staff are great and helpful, the rest are unpleasant and incorrect about literally everything we asked them. Our dinner took an hour to arrive and not what we ordered. The hotel is generally unclean, and we had to move rooms late at night due to an infestation of carpet moths. Our second room had a blocked sink and smelt of sewage. Convenient to town and the pubs , stores and restaurants. Breakfast was wonderful. Check-in person on 9/2 afternoon was amazing and very helpful.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of Wexford town close to local bars restaurants and just a few minutes from the railway station The hotel is a modern fresh hotel with very friendly staff Very clean and tidy with lovely rooms I would recommend a stay at the Clayton Whites hotel to all comers

We had a lovely stay, rooms were very nice and beds very comfortable, pool was fab. The only negative would be the breakfast, cooked food was awful, dried up and rubbery, the breakfast room was extremely warm, had to ask for the doors to be opened for some fresh air.

Great hotel in the heart of the town. Amazing breakfast included, pool, residents bar and noon check out. The way hotels used to be before covid, well looked after. Always weddings on, so bar busy in the evenings up to 2am, but a great bit of craic if you like a late drink at your hotel.

Room spotless, staff attentive, good amenities, breakfast excellent, great to have the addition of takeaway cups for the coffee machine. Only negatives are the corridors looked very tired and in need of updating as did some of the furniture around the foyer. I'm lead to believe a refurb is planned.

Room was fine, toilet wouldn’t flush without holding in both flush buttons together and holding for a number of seconds. Reception staff very friendly, bar staff courteous but breakfast staff indifferent and a terrible buffet breakfast. Food was cold, asked for fresh eggs twice as chef brought them out and took back as there old congealed miserable eggs under the heater.

Frustrated watching the Ireland v Canada Ladies World Cup match with the Flat Screen TV in the bar continuously cutting out every 30 seconds. No real effort made by management to fix the issue. Service was excellent by the serving staff throughout the day and evening.😀. Friendly and very accommodating. Cleanliness 9/10 Staff 9/10 Facilities 8/10 Room 10/10 Food: Dinner 6/10 Breakfast 6/10 Drinks. Over priced. Leisure Centre and Pool 10/10. Would we book again. 75% 😀 25% 😞

Schade, dass unsere Tochter 12 Jahre nach 19:00 Uhr nicht mehr in den Pool durfte. An der Reception wurde davon nichts gesagt und es gab auch keine Info Mappe im Zimmer. Wir waren zuerst essen und wollten anschliessend in den Pool, sonst hätten wir es umgekehrt gemacht.

Hotel was lovley . Staff were terrible . Stood at door 20 min before night porter open it . Then no one to get a drink . Food menu is terrible and very expensive . Breakfast was lying long time was cold and stood 20 min waiting on fresh food as trays were empty

This is a very nice hotel and staff at check in were very nice. The hotel is very central and has underground parking. I’ve stayed previously and had very nice rooms. Unfortunately on this instance I had a room in the basement section of hotel and there was a bit of a damp smell and it just didn’t feel as nice as normal. Absolutely fine for business travel. Ask for a higher floor or book a higher spec room just in case if you are travelling for pleasure.
