Great hotel, great service. Views from the rooftop bar were excellent - had a magnificent view of the storm that raged while we were there! Room was excellent; staff were helpful (the light in the bathroom stopped working; notified reception around 10am and it was fixed by the time we returned around 1pm), service was excellent all-round

Everything was ok to good. We had to ask that our room got cleaned and the pool is way to small and was overcrowded at any time of our stay.

Negatives: Constant fire alarms disrupted our stay repeatedly, causing unnecessary stress. Air conditioning was non-functional - our room reached 28°C. Although multiple technicians (five in total) were sent to fix it, the process took hours and was only temporarily resolved. Room phone seemed disconnected, as no one answered calls to reception, housekeeping, or room service. There were unpleasant sewage/waste smells coming from the room at random times. Cleanliness was poor. The sink and shower were visibly dirty, and despite multiple requests, housekeeping didn’t clean our room for several days. The gym was very basic, and like the rooms, lacked air conditioning, making it uncomfortable to use. Customer service was disappointing. Staff were generally unfriendly, and in one instance, even smirked while delivering bad news to us. Elevators were unreliable: slow, often crowded, and occasionally stalled with a delay before doors would open. No complimentary water in the rooms. An eco-friendly refill system is available, but this is poorly advertised and limited to a small container you’re given, with stations on only a few floors. Positives: The breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection and friendly, attentive servers. The location is very convenient, close to a mall, restaurants, and within easy reach of the city centre.

Pool was smaller than expected but was refreshing However, it was closed at 2 days for a private party. They lied and said it was for maintenance reasons when we arrived. We would have appreciated more honesty. The room was great so other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful hotel. Nice clean rooms and great rooftop pool. Breakfast is fantastic with an unbelievable amount of choice. Location is great and only 20 min walk to lots of bars and restaurants. Staff super friendly and helpful! Main flaw is that the hotel is constantly very busy, and the lifts up to the floors are very confusing and take a lifetime to come. We were on the 11th floor but couldn’t take the stairs upto the 12th to the rooftop which was frustrating. Furthermore, sometimes the lift would stop at nearly every floor.

Reception staff were lovely though- the bar on the roof/pool bar- service was incredibly slow- we waited for an hour (not even joking) for a round of drinks- we would have gone elsewhere but didn’t have enough time to get anywhere before our booking at the restaurant below the hotel. Also when using the pool, we would have to wait a good 10/15mins for them to make a drink and that’s after wandering around to find someone to take our order. They need more sunbeds by the pool too, we ended up lying on a towel on the floor as it was busy everyday we were there. The hotel is a little out of the way, Ubers needed to get into the city- you can walk but would take at least 30minutes before you come across any bars etc that are actually open. Wouldn’t stay here again

Very clean and close to the metro and bus stop. Also next to a huge shopping mall that good for a stroll when it’s too hot outside. Only one suggestion to the hotel: more parasols at the rooftop by the pool will be perfect ⛱️

Die Lage vom Hotel ist gut, leicht mit der Metro vom Flughafen erreichbar und auch zu Fuß ist man schnell in der Altstadt. Das Personal war beim Check-in sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl und jeder findet etwas für seinen Geschmack. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer hat noch weit Luft nach oben. Unsere benutzen Tassen wurde nicht gegen neue ausgetauscht. Auch war bei der Ankunft kein Föhn im Zimmer, das wurde aber schnell behoben. Dennoch denke ich, das sollte vom Housekeeping vorher geprüft werden. Unser Zimmer lag in Richtung einer stark befahrenen Straße. Trotz geschlossener Fenster war der Lärm unerträglich. Alles in allem eine mittelmäßige Erfahrung.

Fand den Flur zum Zimmer leider viel zu dunkel gehalten, Preise auf der Dachterrasse bodenlos teuer (14€ für ein Martini), Ausblick schön, U-Bahn und Turia direkt anbei und auch ein kleines Shoppingcenter super. Unser Zimmer war etwas sehr staubig und der Abfluss hat ganz eklig gerochen, konnte man kaum im Zimmer stehen, da durchlüften auch kaum möglich war, da die Fenster nicht mehr als 2cm geöffnet werden konnten. Frühstück war okay, für jeden was dabei, auch wenn es mir jetzt nicht so sonderlich geschmeckt hat, war auch sehr voll gegen 9/10 Uhr. Da die Leute ihre Teller immer stehen lassen und Essensreste liegen bleiben, war die athmosphäre auch nicht so toll. Hätte mich auch mehr Tageslicht gewünscht. Im groben und Ganzen war es für 3-4 Tage gut, würde aber nächstes Mal lieber ein anderes ausprobieren, da es doch 30min Fußmarsch von der Innenstadt entfernt ist und die U-Bahn etwas komplizierter ist mit Umsteigen und Fahrkartenbuchen. Decent area, general condition was ok. My main issue was with the breakfast room. I kept picking up plates and cups to use that were filthy. It’s like their dishwasher was running without soap or something. I pulled 5 plates and 8 glasses before I found a clean one of either. It was disgusting and I no longer wanted to eat breakfast there that I had paid for. What’s worse - the staff in the restaurant didn’t care. They told me to keep going til I found a clean one - and they said it with no shame! Then the front desk offered to refund my money and then they moved on. I asked if they were going to escalate up a manager and they said no and started doing something else. It was filthy and disgusting and no one cared. I will never stay at a Novotel again. They don’t seem to value cleanliness or hygiene. Stay away.

The hotel's location is good. Great hospitality and warm service. The rooms are clean and quiet. We have just had a bad smell in our room and the corridor in general (I presume there was some trouble with the sewage on 8th floor as there was no such bad odour in the other 9th floor, where our son was staying). We could solve this by ventilating the room by opening our windows all through the day when we are out, but if the weather was cold, this would be problem.

Brand new hotel, unfortunately, elevators very slow, rooms have issues (we had to switch due to AC not operating, my sister had the handy man come twice to fix the sink,…). Also, all the floors smell like sewage water, very badlY..

Modern hotel with roof top bar. Spacious room for the 3 of us. Out from the old town however walkable. Thought the hotel would have a coffee pod machine in the room instead of instant. Thought the hotel food prices were a bit expensive. Alcohol was reasonable.

The roof top area with the pool was a great bonus to the stay. The breakfast had lots of choice, and children were free with an adult paying. The reception area was a good place to realx. The rooms were clean, comfy and had everything you needed, although abit small for a family of 4 for a week.

The room was much smaller than we had anticipated. We booked 2 double beds (family of 4) and we got 1 double bed plus a very small pull out couch. Also our bathroom had an awful, unbearable stench so we had to switch rooms and the second room was even smaller!!! In additional the fire alarm kept going off and was very “alarming”. Aside from all of the issues with the hotel, it is not really in a great area for touristy things. 30min taxi yo beach. 25min walk to the central historic part of Valencia. The upside was the breakfast. It was amazing! Pool was also very nice but very crowded! I would not recommend this hotel!

Ideal location for exploring Valencia. Negatives - 1. Bar staff at rooftop bar very not bothered. 2. Had glass of Cava, went back for another to be told there was no Cava at all out of the three types available (breakfast buffet had plenty each day, seems he couldn't be bothered to look elsewhere). 3. Reception not big enough to handle number of guests at times, and we booked a double room only to be given two singles pushed together with adjoining room. Got moved no problem, but were given a room still with two single beds pushed together, just that this one had a double sheet over it (couldn't be bothered to move again). 4. Towels not replenished, asked for spare ones at reception, didn't arrive so phoned down...arrived soon after but were hand towels, not bath ones requested. 5. Paid for booking in full prior to stay, but on check out the amount was taken from card. I asked for this to be sorted which they said it would be...still awaiting refund one week later. 6. Ordered patatas bravas at the rooftop bar for 14 Euros, received two Potato Waffles with dots of sauce over them..please see picture! So hungry we didn't complain to the grumpy bar guy, but when we mentioned it on check out the reception staff said bar was run by another company so they couldn't do anything!

Das Hotel ist gut zu erreichen und auch die Anbindung zur Stadt ist ganz gut. Auch die Einrichtung des Hotels sowie auch der Zimmer ist sehr gelungen und es ist alles vorhanden.Die Betten sind bequem und auch ausreichend Kissen sind vorhanden. Der Service war sehr gut und alle Mitarbeiter sehr sehr freundlich, gerade am Empfang wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt. Die einzigen Kritikpunkte sind die Pool-/Liegesituation sowie die Brandmeldeanlage. Der Pool war sehr voll, in der Hauptsaison ist damit zu rechnen und nicht dem Hotel zur Last zu legen, jedoch gab es so wenige Liegen das mehr als die hälfte der Personen auf dem Boden liegen musste. Vielleicht wäre es gut mehr Liegen aufzustellen. Der Ausblick und auch die Bar am Pool (auf dem Dach) sind jedoch sehr schön. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt ist die Brandmeldeanlage, welche einfach aus dem nichts mehrfach auslöste (einmal um 8:42 und 9:12 morgens). Bei Nachfrage im Hotel wurde uns erklärt, dass es durch Techniker im Haus ausgelöst wurde, jedoch war dies vermutlich gelogen. Über die nächsten Tage hinweg lösten die Feuermelder zu wahllosen Uhrzeiten aus und das vermehrt.

We arrived at the Hotel and had to discover, that our room was not cleaned from the previous guest. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked and we were not able to change rooms. Neither the front desk nor anyone else from the staff was able to help us. Had to sleep one night in a room, which was not cleaned and very dusty and dirty from previous renovation work. Staff was not very helpful and did not offer us a solution in the moment. Very bad experience and would never go nor recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away!

Goed hotel nabij shopping center. Goede verbinding met metro en bus naar het centrum.

Die Lage ist sehr praktisch. Man kann die gesamte Innenstadt zu Fuß erreichen, für weitere Strecken ist die U-Bahn direkt vor der Tür und für Dörfer weiter außerhalb gibt es eine Metrobus-Haltestelle. Im Shopping-Center nebenan gibt es fast alles. Ausserdem kann man überall Waschsalons finden.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The rooftop restaurant and bar is amazing. Location is also very good with metro and buses right on the corner or across the street.

Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Goede ligging met de bus en metro voor de deur.

Excellent location for local restaurants and easy walking to some great places

Heel leuk hotel! Zwembad op het dak een meerwaarde. Goede ligging tov stad. Je wandelt er zo naartoe. Fietsen verhuur op wandelafstand en winkelcentrum net naast de deur. Kortom alles wat je zoekt! Valentia je was TOP!

Well appointed hotel. 10 mins walk to Old Town. Excellent reception from Elena. Cool bedroom with spotless bathroom and rain shower. Roof top bar, pool and city views wonderful. Absolutely amazing breakfast. Probably one of the best in 40 years travelling.
