Woodspring Suites has their priorities straight! Nothing pretentious, good security features at the entrance, VERY QUIET! <3 Clean! All the things you need and none of the things you don't, all for a very reasonable price.

There was a terrible smell in the elevator. The hotel is new and pretty clean, but you have to ask for any additional items like a hair dryer, iron and ironing board ect...The bed was not very comfortable, but the pillows were good!

The smell in the elevator and in the room weren't great. The room smelled strongly like cheap gone off perfume and the elevator and hallway just smelled bad. We were delayed arriving to the hotel but I called the front desk twice several hours beforehand to explain that we were stuck in traffic and the front desk said both times that they would “probably” be able to let us check in even though we were arriving just after 11pm- this response was so unsettling as we weren’t sure if we should stop and book another hotel on our travel to Newington/ New Britain or risk continuing our drive to not having a place to stay when we arrived. When we got there, thankfully there was someone at the desk but she said she was not informed that I had called hours beforehand to notify them of our delay even though the staff earlier had said they would let the front desk know of our situation. The room was “dorm-like” furniture and the bedding was similar. I initially couldn't get the air conditioning to turn on but thankfully found a fuse box in the room and found that the fuse was just switched off- I know we paid just over $100 for the night and even though it was “budget” priced, I’ll pay a little more the next time to hopefully have a better experience when visiting the area.

The property was very clean. Security was excellent.

My family and I booked a room for 2 nights. The place looked clean just like the pictures. We check in our room was on the 4th floor. Step in the elevator and there’s a wired smell the room is next to the elevator so now I’m sick and can not sleep so to the smell. Smelled like burning rubber. Day 2 We left for the day got back around 9 and there was a Cockroach!!!!!!

On the plus side, the hotel is brand new and clean. It is also conveniently located within walking distance to Starbucks! However, the elevator smells absolutely horrid--like dirty sweaty clothes. There isn't a coffee maker in the room (nor cups or any utensils, which seems odd given the room has a full sized refrigerator, small stove and microwave) and the bed is very soft and quite uncomfortable. Seems to be popular with out-of-state contractors who need a place to stay while they are working here.

The security and access beyong lobby . Love that you couldn't get beyond the lobby without a key access.

Elevator was down

Stayed here about 5 weeks ago, it was very good . This weekend although the staff was very nice, the facility was not as clean. Had a room on the 3rd floor. The hallway was dirty and the elevator was not working and dirty as well . Room next to me had music blaring until well after 230 am . Unfortunately, not acceptable ! Brand new facility already needs attention .

This hotel was fine for our needs, here to sleep and leave - a quick ride to get anywhere on a Saturday/Sunday. Relatively clean (I'm picky, I think there is sticky stuff on the floor near the bed). The floors and walls are thin, you can hear people walking around. Two queen bed room has a full fridge/sink/microwave/hanging clothes rack/desk/nice size bathroom. Parking/starbucks and Cumberland farms a few steps away. Convenient.

front desk service was lacking tremendously. i had to wait 5 minutes to check in because the employees were hiding in the back room, was unable to check out in a timely manner because no employees were present. the hallway was visibly dirty, smelled, and the floor, thermostat, and bathroom counter were dirty upon check in.

The hotel is reasonably priced for the area but very much no frills. The bathroom was not cleaned well. Short hair all over the counter and faucet. I am not fussy so this was very noticeable. The coffee in the morning only had decaf. Regular coffee ran out ( that could have just been bad luck and not a regular occurrence) I stayed only one night. Bed was very soft which normally is bad for my back but my back was good in the morning. Not a cheap mattress so could be why my back was ok

We stayed for one night as it was affordable and had an accessible shower option. The room wasn’t clean, it was so loud all night, it felt like someone’s apartment rather than a hotel. There were people making loud loud noises all day all night. The lady at the front desk was not friendly at all. Bed was super low and not easy to get out off. There was dog food on the ground. Hair on the bed. Gross.

For a last minute room and for about $90 dollars, I was a bit surprise. I have paid over $200 dollars for just a bed and a microwave somewhere else. The room was spacious and the kitchenette was pretty much brand new. The bathroom is very big. The down side was…the floor was very dirty. There was long hair and it was sticky in some places. The towel set in the bathroom was only for one person, no hair blower. Also there was no coffee maker in the room, no hangers or iron board. Checking out was also a bit of a hassle. There is no where to place the room key cards if you check out after hours of lobby being closed. Sometimes the small details are the ones that count.

Horrible … garbage in the halls … filthy .. no towels in room … no shower curtain in the room … extended stay setup for transient people… the worst hotel I have ever stayed at … period .. Hotels.com should remove this as an option

It appears to be a new or newer hotel but it while not dirty it is not super clean. Lobby has some type of construction zone set-up, elevator had a strong food odor for the time there (Sunday later afternoon to Monday morning) and definitely could have used a vacuuming. The hallway to the room had a noticeable periodic dripping on the floor all the way from elevator to room and beyond. It was something shiny that dried on the floor, also some debris along the way. The hallway could have used a good sweeping/mopping. The stay was the night after a local college graduation and could have had something to do with the hallway floor condition. I arrived at my room to find the door ajar, bed was made perfectly, both kitchen area and bathroom sinks needed attention; cleaning and rinsing. Bathroom only had one large bath towel, that was all and a single mini bar of soap and shampoo/conditioner. Given if fully stocked for a next guest there would be many towels of various sizes and other comp. toiletry items. At check-in there was no mention WiFi instructions but a simple call took care of that. As mentioned, it could have been all due to being completely booked for Graduation weekend. All that celebrating could cause much of these smaller but a lot of appearance and housekeeping issues. I would stay here again, hopefully this was a one off. Nice Property!

It didn’t have all the little luxuries of a more expensive hotel since it was an extended stay, but it was generally clean and had all the necessities. The kitchenette looked functional if you’re there a while, and a full size fridge was nice. It was much cheaper than nearby options and you get your money’s worth.

Windows have white blinds with no curtains. The parking lot lights made the room light at night. The sun rose into the window. Black out curtains are a must.

The beds are making a squeaking noise when you turn your body while sleeping. The wall insulation is so poor that you can hear conversations from the next room and walking noise above the floor. The worst thing is, the next room, midnight lovers (1-2AM) banging on the wall and loud noise while they are making love on the bed. The hard vinyl floor is dirty with black dust in the bathroom. The other things are as you paid for.

We booked a room for my birthday. When we arrived we were told the tv in our room might not work. We asked for a room with a working tv and they said they were all booked. This was the only room. When we entered the room we realized it was not the room we booked and paid for. The lamp, the bathtub spout, and a drawer were broken. There was no remote to turn on the tv and see if it even worked. There was also an exposed outlet hanging out of the wall with the wall plate removed. We canceled our stay and booked another room. The only positive was the help from the attendant at the front desk. Terrible way to start my birthday. This experience wasted alot of time and pretty much ruined our plans for the night. Now I get to wait for who knows how long to get a refund.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working. The key cards were not provided as the system was down. And the hall area and elevators stink. We couldn’t stay there and checked out the same evening. Waiting for a regind

Check-in went smoothly. The second day our room keys where not working. The front desk activated two new keys right away. Very friendly and quiet place.

It took over 2 hours to check in for us and another group. They were apparently short handed and no one had any answers and made very little effort to make things right. It appeared a gentleman who was the general manager was there but left. The clerk at the desk said it wasn’t there fault and we were not offered any apologies or any type of satisfaction.

Room was clean and staff was nice

Peace and quiet and the convenience of everything plus it had a Starbucks right across the street and a grocery store

We stayed here as all other hotels were booked. We needed somewhere to stay before an early flight home. We were only there for 12 hours. The room was clean and staff was nice and friendly. However, guests in our hallway were cooking and the aromas were overwhelming. The hallway was smokey due to lack of ventilation. I didn’t feel safe as I felt the smoke could potentially initiate the fire alarm causing our belongings to get wet. Otherwise, good enough for what we needed.

Only thing I did not like coffee wasn’t available in the morning

If I had known it was pet friendly I would not have stayed there. Dogs barking at 6am, scratching at door. Nice gym, good location, vending machines were nice to have. Newer facility, won’t be nice for long if housekeeping doesn’t do there job. Floors in room dirty, Doritos and crumbs on floors. Bathroom dirty, unacceptable. Dust, dirty, hairs on and around toilet and the shower. Nice to have laminate floors in every room. Should have been easier to clean. Kitchen was sufficient. Beds were ok, AC was great.
