Looked recently renovated; was clean and convenient. Large bathrooms with an actual door! (which is more than I can say for a lot of new hotels with their sliding pocket door nonsense) Shuttle bus worked out great, and if you use it, it kinda makes the overnight parking fees a wash (as you avoid Disney’s parking fees)

Great property! Nice pool / bar areas and good restaurant. Good size rooms and reasonable prices. Bus to parks not quite as convenient as Disney hotels, but room cheaper so trade off... busses get the job done, just longer waits and not available as often.

I love the area because it’s close to everything! The hotel is very quiet and professional. The parking fee seems a little unnecessary, and the pool area furniture needs more attention. Especially the furniture on the patio of the room’s bottom floors.

Such an amazing hotel. The location is a 10+ within walking distance to Disney Springs! The hotel had wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. The pool was clean, the pool bar was great and the DJ made it all the more fun! The gym was super clean and they have free morning yoga classes!! Would recommend it to anyone!!

Friendly front desk and cleaning crew. Clean room, 15 min walk to the Disney Spring. Resort fee at $45 daily, in return, hotel provided $15 voucher everyday. Bathroom is clean, water is strong. Morning bus to Disney is available hourly, we took the 08:05 on the first morning and arrived DK at 08:45. Uber and Lyft is the way to go unless you want to take the 07:05 bus. Overall, great choice for families visiting WDW.

I have been staying at this resort since before it was Renaissance and it has always been a wonderful experience. The location is great. The spa is top notch. The customer service is always the best!

Overall great stay. Can definitely tell the Renissance purchased a previously owned hotel and put their touches on it. The only thing worth mentioning is the bathroom and shower floor were dusty/but dirty (hard to tell because the floor is black, but I always take it upon myself when checking into a hotel to wipe the bathroom floors with a wet towel, and the was hair and dirt leftover. Housekeeping may have rushed) Lastly, staff and customer service was A+++!

Checked into are room very late. The bathroom had an old used towel and and a hair cap hanging from the back of the bathroom door. The ice machine on the 3rd floor didn’t work, the phone in our room didn’t work, there were no blankets on the beds and to make matters worse at the time of check in I requested a late Check out. I put the no disturb sign on the handle of door and at 9:39 I received loud knocking with a women screaming housekeeping. That’s how my family woke up. Unbelievable experience as we were celebrating my daughters 13th birthday

It was nice, good location, the lobby is very inviting Our room was a little bit sticky, door lock was not functioning and toilette paper had not been replaced. But over all it’s a very convenient location and with a little more attention to detail could be really great!’

My bed had a batch of hair in it. The floor on the exit of elevator om third floor seem dirty. The waitress on the first day was really good the second day was awful brough our breakfast wrong had to wait for breakfast while everyone else ate.

The first room we received had a dead cockroach on the floor . I went back and asked for a different room. We were moved from the first floor to the second floor. In this room we found a LIVE bug running around the square shower. We killed it but decided we couldn’t stay at a hotel which is obviously infested with bugs and not cleaned well. I went to the desk and the man was on the phone so I left my keys and found a different hotel to stay the weekend at. Such a disappointment for what was supposed to be a “4 stars hotel.

The hotel itself has been remodeled nicely. The room was spacious and had a large bathroom. However, I would offer the following suggestions and observations: The a/c system needs an overhaul. It seems to be having a really hard time keeping up with the outside heat consistently. Our room took hours to cool down. The in room fridge/ cooler wasn’t cold at all. The landline phone did not work. The staff, while very nice, seemed disjointed. Everyone in the building should know answers to questions such as “ where can I get ice?” , and “who do I see to get extra k-cups?” I stayed at this hotel with my mom many years ago when it was the Plaza Royale. I’m happy it’s been restored. With a few tweaks, it could be an exceptional hotel again.

The rooms are big and spacious. The hotel decor is pretty, open and looks to be new decor. The staff was very nice and the restaurant food was really good. Great location and price. Will definitely be back.

As a proclaimed “Disney Hotel” I cannot believe I was charged $30 a day parking fee as Disney hotels are free parking. Would I have know that I would have stayed on actual Disney property. I chose Renaissance to save a bit of money but ended up spending more after resort fees, parking fees, Ubers to park etc. Lobby is nice and updated. Bathrooms need to be redone and we could not cool off at night no matter how low we put AC.

We enjoyed this property very much. Only complaint was there was something in the room setting off our allergies. Not sure if it was cleaning products? Also city facing rooms will be noisy in the higher floors due to them facing the interstate so you will hear that all night. Next time will request ground or second floor room on opposite side of hotel. Overall very nice hotel and price was great.

The beds were super comfortable. It’s so close to Disney Springs, you can walk there. The place was newly renovated and the room and lobby are super cute. I loved having a coffee machine and a refrigerator in the room. It was really a nice stay.

I picked this hotel because it seemed like it was the cheapest of all the downtown Disney hotels.This stay was OK although I wasn’t aware of the $30 a day parking fee. And the resort fee is kind of a rip off as well. The refrigerator was not working.Bed is too firm, pillows were not comfortable. Had breakfast in the restaurant only because we had a coupon. But the eggs were not hot and it was too drafty in the restaurant, also drafty and a weird perfume smell throughout the hotel lobby.

Housekeeping walked right into my room over a dozen times over an 2 day period, yes 6 times each day… until I called down and was forced to flip out for the 4th time. Manager said she’s call me Back never did. Elevators broken for the majority of the trip. Overall Attitude from most people behind the front desk from day 1. Bartenders were strange. Nothing nearby except Disney related things, nothing at all within walking distance unless you want to walk .75 of a mile to Disney. Won’t be back.

It takes a lot to make me never want to return to a property but I think this place pulled it off. We arrived after midnight our first night after a day of travel. We were exhausted. Then we find that they had overbooked, they send us to a hotel 10 minutes down the road. It was a very nice hotel but after a day of travel it was the very last thing we wanted to do. What would they have done if we didn’t have our own vehicle? Plus we were only staying two nights so we had to check out of the new hotel at 11am and this hotel was not available until after 2pm. We had planned a lazy pool day with walking to Disney Springs in the evening. Kind of hard when you need to pack up and check out and check in in the middle of the day. We got some food credits but really we only got what I paid for as I paid for breakfast both nights so they gave us ‘extra’ aka the breakfast we did not get the first night that I paid for. Then we finally got settled and did our evening in the springs. The next day we woke to ICE cold showers. And went down to eat to some of the slowest service we’ve ever had. We didn’t even get a chance to use the ‘extra’ credits because we had to check out before we got enough food/drinks to even use them. The pool is not heated just as an FYI, it was cold, though not as cold as our morning showers. All of this with being a Marriott member so don’t think that will help you out at all. The only positive was the bellhop was very friendly and helpful.

Our stay was amazing, our luggage was delayed by the and the staff were tremendous. They informed all of their staff to keep an eye on our situation and as soon as the luggage was delivered by the airline the staff delivered it to the room (9pm) Our stay could not have been better supported. Thanks to everyone.

Check in was very easy. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Parking was close and easy and the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Disney Springs, which was great. We had asked for an extra blanket for the couch bed and one was brought within a short time. We asked the little cafe for a bag of ice for our cooler, which was given with a smile. The ladies in the restaurant were all very helpful and kind as well. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. Pool area was very nice. We had no complaints at all and would definitely stay again. Fantastic facility and staff!

We really enjoyed our stay. Disney Springs is within walking distance. The staff are super nice and friendly. Our room was spacious and quiet. We didn't like that the elevator doesn't tell you what floor you're on or has a sign that tells you you must use a key to select a floor. The store could be way better and offer more snacks, food and drink options. Instead the focus is too much Disney and kitchy souvenirs. Also, the coffee shop is hidden in the back. It should have a front and center focus or way better advertised.

Our stay was excellent. The hotel looks like it’s been recently updated. The last time we stayed here at the pool and bar area was not in service. The upgrades look excellent. This is a great hotel for the money. It’s in a wonderful location. Special mention for front desk personnel… Specifically, Sasha. She went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. I can’t say enough about her excellent attitude and accommodating manner. She is a credit to the staff!

Room, bed, check in were all great. Bed was fantastic. Only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet. The food quality is exactly what you would find in a discount bottom dollar hotel breakfast. Orange juice is the cheap stuff. Muffins are frozen/ thawed gas station quality. Not acceptable for $30. I don’t mind paying well for a breakfast, but don’t feed me garbage.

The hotel in general is ok. The problem is the restaurant even though the food is good, they have many problems making your order, the plates are incomplete (they don't include what it says in the menu) they make many mistakes, I order a french toast, they give me pancakes...and they took forever....The buffet had no eggs or protein (bacon or sausage) the waiters are no where to find... maybe is understaff not sure but I had a problem everyday with my food.

The bathroom was dirty, used towels were in bathroom upon our arrival. Check in experience was very poor , they did not inform us about the hot tube near the swimming pool. Breakfast was good, and the servers were very helpful

Loved our experience. Drinks at the bar could have been a bit bigger especially for the price. Overall an excellent experience we will be back .
