There was dust on the dressers and dirt on the floors. There were wasps and mud wasp nests behind the shutters on the porcine and wasp were flying around. You can’t use the fire pit as it’s by a fence and dry grass as well as a shed. There were bees flying around there as well. Also there wasn’t any chairs to sit on by the fire pit.

The Dover property was beautiful, the location was convenient for our trip and how great to have a place so close to the lake and a swing set for the kids however the opportunities for improvement are extensive. We encountered more wildlife inside the home than out. Upon our arrival you could not walk on the floors without crunching insect caucuses. Before we knew it, we found that the walls, ceilings, floors and windows were alive with ladybugs. Much more disturbing was that the covered patio/stairwell to the game room was crawling with very large wasps which entered the living space and hid in the walls. The kitchen utensils drawers were littered with mouse poop, the cupboard with the trash can was a disaster and the laundry room was covered in debris. There was a sewage backup plumbing issue in the laundry room while we were there but thankfully it was resolved quickly. Overall, the house was in pretty bad shape in terms of cleanliness.
