City Express by Marriott Ciudad de México Alameda

El hotel es viejo, aunque está en buenas condiciones. El servicio es bueno y el desayuno es aceptable. Sin embargo, el estacionamiento es muy pequeño y de difícil acceso, además de que tiene costo extra.

A la llegada no tenían estacionamiento disponible por un evento, tuvimos que buscar un lugar al rededor con todos los riesgos que ello supone. El personal en ningún momento se preocupó por buscar alguna alternativa y al contrario, argumentaron que por reservar mediante plataformas. La reservación incluía desayuno, todas las mañanas se batalló porque era insuficiente para los huéspedes, sin variedad (Solo huevo y frijoles, un poco de fruta y yogurt) e incluso hubo un día que ni platos ni cubiertos disponibles. Poco personal que no se daba abasto. Las habitaciones con ruido del drenaje corriendo a todas horas.

Buena ubicación cerca del centro. Entregaron la habitación con casi 1 hra de retraso, la terraza la mentuvieron cerrada nunca pude accesar.

Se anuncian con estacionamiento pero si tienen evento le dan prioridad a los demás y no a los huéspedes. Si les pides ayuda para estacionarse se limitan a señalar donde hay un estacionamiento externo y no te dan buena atención, se enojan. Las instalaciones están muy deterioradas

Solo funcionaba un elevador y las esperas eran muchas

The hotel was nice and clean, some things to consider would be the fact that although the room is spacious, the restroom is really tiny, the beds are old and creak a lot, there's a window, but it leads to a view of the building, and the shower is walled off only by opaque glass but in full view of the whole room. Aside from the room, the lobby feels nice and welcoming, the breakfast has limited options but they're tasy and constantly being refilled. There's also a 24 h. tea and coffee station that's a nice plus on the side of the ammenites; speaking of ammenities, they claim to have a gym but it's lacking in space and equipment which makes it barely functional. All things considered, the room and ammenities are nice(minus the gym), but you'd have to put some thought into who you're staying with if you plan to share a room and might find the bathroom situation uncomfortable.

Excellent value for location and amenities. Really good hot breakfast in the morning included. I wish the rooftop bar area was in use, incredible views.

El elevador no funcionó varios días pero en general bien

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The gym equipment was broken. The terrace had everything folded up and put away. The breakfast was okay except the coffee was really weak and the “beans” are liquid. There’s no mini fridge in the room. On the other hand, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The location is great for walking to restaurants and shopping and tourist sites.

Todo muy bien, la atención el lugar, solo que Expedia me marcaba con estacionamiento incluído y ya en el lugar me dijeron que tenía que pagar $120 por noche, ese es el único detalle desagradable.

Desayuno malisimo, pobre, frio y lugar sucio, no barren habitaciones, agua regadera fria, lo venden como de 1a.

La ropa de cama estaba sucia con cabellos, el baño igual, trataron de cambiar el cuarto y el otro esta peor. No era posible comunicarse a recepción, tuve q bajar. La secadora de pelo no servia. El desayuno en comparacion con precio muy limitado. No hay relacion precio calidad, ni ubicación. En resumen ultima vez q nos hospedamos en esta cadena, la experiencia muy desagradable.

Enjoyed our 1 week stay at this establishment. Staff was extremely helpful and professional! Hotel room was cleaned every day so perfectly! Will definitely be staying here again.

The sheets had not been cleaned. They had dirt, hair and makeup on them. The bathroom floor was full of dust bunnies. The breakfast was decent and the hotel was in an excellent area but I would not stay there again. Whoever is managing the cleaning staff is not doing his/her job in checking rooms to make sure they are clean.

Me hospedé en el hotel City Express del 22 al 24 de noviembre y lamentablemente fue una de las peores experiencias que he tenido en un hotel. Aquí los problemas principales: 1. Limpieza y mantenimiento en la habitación: • Durante toda mi estancia no cambiaron las toallas ni los artículos de tocador (toiletries), algo que considero básico para el servicio de un hotel. 2. Desayuno desastroso: • Todas las mesas estaban sucias y llenas de platos y restos de comida de los huéspedes anteriores. No había personal limpiando ni organizando el área. • Tardaron más de una hora en sacar más comida ambos días que estuve ahí, lo que generó filas largas y mucho descontento. • La ensalada tenía insectos, lo que demuestra que no lavan ni desinfectan adecuadamente los alimentos. • No rellenaban el té, el azúcar, ni el pan; parecía que nadie se preocupaba por reponer los insumos. 3. Impresión general: • El desayuno no solo fue una experiencia desagradable, sino que dejó una pésima imagen del hotel. Esto, sumado a la falta de atención en la habitación, hizo que mi estancia fuera completamente decepcionante. Espero que el hotel tome medidas para mejorar tanto el servicio de limpieza como la atención al desayuno. No recomiendo este hotel en absoluto.

La limpieza de habitación fue deficiente.

Breakfast was alright, staff is helpful and service is good. But rooms are ancient, can't enter in toilet properly, beds will make noises when you twist and turn. Hard to sleep but it's a good location. Overall will look for more options next visit.

The mattress was the worst. I could feel all the coils. It was thin and so uncomfortable. I can’t believe Marriott would provide beds like this.

Aunque la habitación es algo pequeña, la atención del personal fue de 10 y el desayuno estaba muy bueno. Las tizanas y te que nos pudimos tomar las 24 horas fueron un plus. Además está muy cerca del centro y de varias estaciones de transporte público.

very disappointing...better to just pay more & stay else where. we expected this to be similar to a Holiday Inn but it was below that standard. when we first arrived to check-in they asked us to wait because the only room available did not have a working AC; so of we waited. they also charged us extra for a 3rd person even though the room was a double for 4 people. this fee was never disclosed at booking -- strike 1. when we returned a few hours later, the room they gave us had a broken AC. so either they gave us the same room that they already knew had the broken AC or more than 1 room had a broken AC -- strike 2. we of course asked them to change our room and the only other available room was one that was missing the shower door. so our choice was deal with a broken AC or missing shower door -- strike 3. the other cons were the weak wifi, which kicked us off on the 2nd day. we called the front desk & they were super unhelpful. i finally went down to the lobby & got lucky & found another staffer to help me with the wifi. also even though we clearly paid extra for 3 adults they only gave us 2 towels & no hand towel. we asked the front 3 different times for towels & toilet paper before they sent it to us. also at check in they give you 2 free waters in the room...again why isnt there 3 since i'm paying extra for a third person?? when i asked for more water on the 3rd day they said no that's only per stay not per day. the only pro was the location but still not worth the stay.

El hotel ubicado en una zona muy céntrica. Quiza es lo que vale y de ahi el costo. El desayuno bien a secas, lo necesario para iniciar el dia. El personal de recepcion no es amable, no hay un buen dia, una sonrisa, disponibilidad de servicio. No te ayudan con las maletas, no son serviciales. No te llevan a tu habitación. La habitación normal. Eso si, el baño tiene división traslucida. Los de afuera pueden ver tu silueta desnuda. Si vas con pareja sin problema, pero si vas con papas, hijos o amigos pues es incomodo. El.baño y el lavabo se inundaba, como que esta tapado y el agua tarda muchisimo es irse. No volveré. Tampoco los recomendaré.

Staff was very friendly, responsive and helpful whenever we needed something and the ability to check out a little later than most other hotels is a big plus. Overall great stay, definitely will be back again when I visit the Historic Center of Mexico City and its surroundings around Christmas time this year.

A pesar de contar con reserva pagada, no la respetaron aduciendo que estaban llenos. No ofrecieron alternativa con sus hoteles cercanos y tuve que salir a media noche a conseguir hospedaje

El checking muy tardado. Cobran el estacionamiento y no lo mencionan en la página, además la persona que me atendió en el mostrador fue muy poco servicial y hasta altanero, sin empatía o búsqueda de atención al cliente.

Amabilidad y rapidez en entrada y salida. Personal muy amable y dispuesto a apoyar en lo que se requiere durante la estancia.

Falló el aire acondicionado, pero la solución fue inmediata. Es lo importante. Con lo cual, queda uno muy contento. Por lo tanto, todo excelente, la habitación, 502 está para regresar.

Great location, within walking distance. Checked in at 8pm and took front desk very long time to complete checkout; when asked why they responded “please just give us time” meanwhile guest came down that they just checked in & their room hadn’t been cleaned from prior guests stay. We left & went to dinner since the checkin was taking way too long after long travel day. 3 mornings breakfast & food good & hours were convenient; staff attentive. but exactly same each of our 3-days- recommend switching up options for guests with longer visits Our room had no separate room for shower; silhouette from person in the shower is visible by everyone in room. AC worked great. View out window is to windows of other rooms. Loud alarms two nights; staff said it was target smoke alarms. Beds low & springy but comfortable. If looking for low price, centrally located no privacy, no luxury safe hotel, this good place.Not for the delicate.

El personal es muy malo son despotas, groseros y no tienen atención desde que llegas el personal q está afuera recibiendo a la gente de flojera, sin conocimiento de las cosas solo rescato a una persona de recepción y fue un chico de ahí en fuera las señoritas de recepción bastante altanera.

Las señoritas de recepción con pésima actitud a la hora de brindar atención a los huéspedes. Éramos un grupo de 4 personas y fueron cero serviciales. Me hospede el fin de semana y al solicitar mi factura de dos habitaciones me dijeron que no me podían emitir facturas ya. En la ley de Mexico tienes 30 días para facturar después de tu consumo. PÉSIMO que no den facturas

시내에 있어 도보로 유명관광명소나 갤러리,박물관 다니기 좋으나 저녁에는 노숙자가 있어서 불편함. 편의점 가까움. 샤워 수압 약하고 더운물이 적게사와 불편함. 택시 타기 편함. 주변에 식당 많음.

La habitación justo como las imágenes, estaba limpia y en buenas condiciones. el desayuno no fue variado pero a mi familia y a mí nos gustó mucho (los dos días sirvieron desayunos mexicanos a los que estoy acostumbrada, a menos que no sean mexicanos tal vez no les guste, ya que como dije no hay variedad) la zona muy bonita, céntrica, nada solitaria, hay varios restaurantes y sitios a la redonda. volvería a hospedarme aquí.

This is an excellent place for first-time visitors to stay in Mexico City. You're within walking distance of Alameda Park, Zocalo, Temple Mayor, and all the shopping you could want, and you are a short car ride away from places like Tenotihucan and the Basilica. I couldn't be happier with my stay!

Lies lies lies .. breakfast was awful. The same breakfast was provided everyday. The same thing was served. Please change it up. We stayed there 7 nights and we got bored of eating the same thing. We booked because breakfast was provided but after a few mornings of eating the same thing you get fed up.
