Hotel staff were friendly and Blu was very clean. Great place for conferences. With great pool in rooftop. Which I didn’t use actually. Not so much for doing touristy things nearby. However, metro and buses very close walk nearby. View of Acropolis is through binoculars in rooftop restaurant. I personally wanted to be closer.

My trip was disturbed because I was not feeling well, but when I checked in I got upgraded to a premium room with free breakfast on my birthday. It’s my first time trying Radisson Blu chain hotel and I will deffo try it next time! The swimming pool and sauna room is very good too

Good location being a 15 min walk to central Athens. Great rooftop swimming pool and gym facilities. Breakfast also very good, rooms are clean, modern and spacious.

I booked the hotel as I really wanted a hotel with a pool. The pool was not open on either day when I stayed. It was really disappointing. This should have been communicated to me when I booked at the very least. Furthermore, in general, and even though the reception staff were very nice and helpful, the property just seemed badly managed. A lift was out of use and plaster boards were just put up against it to stop people trying to enter, it looked awful.

Very expensive food. Very noisy from outside noise. First room was opposite a block of flats with an alarm going off constantly on the first night. With my vip access I had to ask for the room upgrade which turned out wasn’t an upgrade it was exactly the same as the first room we were in with a view of trees and a dirty street. Felt unsafe around the hotel. Hotel lobby was clean and looked nice. Breakfast was good. Pool was good but quite limited sitting areas. Seems they just concentrated on the lobby and swimming area and forgot about the rest of the hotel. Gym was tired and equipment was old. Just not sure how this has got the rating of a 5 star hotel. 3/4 star at best!

Good Hotel. Amazing breakfast, lovely and friendly staff. Rooftop restaurant food was delicious. Well maintained property. A little far from city center but a quiet neighborhood and easy to find parking on street if you are planning to rent a car.

Seul bémol, l'hôtel aurait besoin d'un peu de rafraichissement pour être au standard des grands hôtels. Aussi, attention à la propreté de la salle de bain qui pourrait être mieux.

Hôtel vétuste, les équipements sont d’un autre âge. Tout dans la chambre était détérioré, mal repeint, usé ou défraîchit. J’ai appris en faisant mon check out qu’une partie rénovée existait ….. merci pour l’information tardive. Bref hormis le petit déjeuner rien ne va dans cet établissement qui pratique des prix bien au delà de ce que cela vaut. En règle générale la chaîne Radisson ferait mieux de vérifier ce que fait la concurrence.

Leider waren wir nicht begeistert von diesem Hotel. Das Rooftop ist schön und das Restaurant sehr gut, die Zimmer sind aber wirklich nicht dem Standard angemessen. Hier ist dringend eine Renovierung nötig. Das fängt schon bei kleinen Sachen wie Löchern in den Vorhängen, ausgefransten Handtüchern und verschmierten Wänden an. Unverständlich, dass solche kleinen Verbesserungsmaßnahmen in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie nicht durchgeführt werden. Hier gibt es in Athen viel bessere Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Der Pool, unser ursprünglicher Grund für die Wahl des Hotels, war außerdem sehr klein und sehr überfüllt. Die Gegend ist leider auch nicht besonders angenehm, hier fühlt man sich als Gast leider nicht wohl.

The hotel location is good and they have upgraded my room as well. But I have issue with cleanness as they have not clean the room next morning and toilet is in bad position when I came back from my Business meeting . I have not complained on that time but they need to improve if they want repeat customer .

I highly recommend Radisson Blu. The Hotel is uniquely situated bedside a major park and museums, with a 360 view of Athens, including the Acropolis. The pool and bar, recently renovated, offer a luxurious experience of great service, comfort, and relaxation. The rooms are esthetically very pleasing with modern facilities, Nespresso machine, and great views (if requested). The front desk staff are highly attentive, professional, and helpful. The only problem I encountered was inconsistent and often late housekeeping services and technical services (the phones did not work and were not fixed).

Good location, 5 mins from metro station. Slightly away from busy hustle and bustle of the main eating and shopping areas. Around a 30 minute walk to the main tourist area e.g. acropolis. Staff friendly and helpful. Room well equipped and modern. Great shower. Very effective air conditioning. Breakfast is a good option. Continental and buffet style. Would stay here again.

I liked that management allowed me to go to my room at 2:00 instead of 3:00. However, I felt the room was substandard to say the least. The view from my bedroom was that of delapidated third world country. The room had half a roll of toilet paper, no tissues, and the toilet had an inside water leak all night. The water pot and coffee maker was permanently attached to a tall cabinet making it impossible for me to make a cup of coffee. There were two long black nails coming out of the ceiling where apparently there used to be hanging lights. There is a marble tile missing from underneath the bathroom sink. I was very disappointed.

I had a wonderful stay in Athens. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Athens so far—fresh, varied, and delicious. My upgraded room was spacious and comfortable. This hotel was great. I was offered that if I signed up to Radisson club there was 10% food discount during the stay but only when I left did I realise this wasn’t applied to my final bill so that was disappointing. All other aspects were great. The staff and restaurant were excellent and breakfast was amazing.

Fantastic Breakfast!!! A huge assortment of all kinds of fresh fruit, cheeses, breads, eggs, non-alcoholic beverages. Absolutely delicious, with the exception of the coffee. The machines had the facade of "fresh ground" yet I have no doubt that it was pure chemical. Fantastic Pool and bar area, which sadly closes at 7pm and which was way to early for the summer season when it only gets dark around 9pm. Our room and amenities matched the photos, only after we put up a fight! They tried to put us in room #204 that looked nothing like the photos and had a the "wonderful" eye to eye view of the employee\'s smoking/sitting area. Not at all what we dreamed for our 25th anniversary getaway!! When we asked to change rooms they flat out lied to us over the room phone and told us that they were sold out. With the exception of this employee, the others were quite helpful and displayed very pleasant demeanors! Taxis were plentiful and that was a good thing because the hotel is a bit far from the primary attractions. We found a fantastic restaurant, Ama Lachei, which we highly recommend and was only about a 10 min walk away. We went there twice during our stay!!

We were travelling with six adults and two infants in the middle of one of Europes most severe heat waves. We had remarkable service from all of the staff of the hotel we interacted with, they were totally looking after us and our needs given the condition very pro-actively. Extremely people at the reception desk, as well as the portier and parking valey personnel. The room was nice and clean, and quite spacious. Great roofbar and restaurant. Breakfast was by far the best and most various I have experienced in Greece, what a delight. Hotel forgot to deactivate the previous guests access to the room and they tried to come in there late at night. Very scary as we were traveling with my mom who is 83 years old. Also, after finally falling asleep, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. all the front desk and say is sorry

Bottle of Champagne in room. Wanted to take to rooftop pool area because room was facing an interior light well! Roof top had a bar and restaurant! They would not let us drink our wine on the roof so we gave it back and ordered from the bar! Would not let us sign to room!. Said we did not give CC for extras! No one asked for it! Hotellet bærer preg av manglende vedlikehold og lite oppgradering og utvikling. Beliggenheten er heller ikke spesielt god for turister. Riktignok ligger hotellet rett ovenfor en flott, stor park, men i mellom hotellet og parken går det en stor trafikkert vei som høres til alle døgnet tider. Hotellet ligger ca 30 minutters gange unna turistområdene i Athen. Jeg mottok ingen Expedia gold / VIP Access fordeler og ble heller ikke anerkjent som Radisson Gold medlem da jeg sjekket inn. Da jeg gjorde de oppmerksom på det, fikk jeg sendt opp en flaske med vin til rommet og beskjed om at det ikke var tilgjengelige rom å bli oppgradert til. I highly recommend Radisson Blu. The Hotel is uniquely situated bedside a major park and museums, with a 360 view of Athens, including the Acropolis. The pool and bar, recently renovated, offer a luxurious experience of great service, comfort, and relaxation. The rooms are esthetically very pleasing with modern facilities, Nespresso machine, and great views (if requested). The front desk staff are highly attentive, professional, and helpful. The only problem I encountered was inconsistent and often late housekeeping services and technical services (the phones did not work and were not fixed).

Very expensive food. Very noisy from outside noise. First room was opposite a block of flats with an alarm going off constantly on the first night. With my vip access I had to ask for the room upgrade which turned out wasn’t an upgrade it was exactly the same as the first room we were in with a view of trees and a dirty street. Felt unsafe around the hotel. Hotel lobby was clean and looked nice. Breakfast was good. Pool was good but quite limited sitting areas. Seems they just concentrated on the lobby and swimming area and forgot about the rest of the hotel. Gym was tired and equipment was old. Just not sure how this has got the rating of a 5 star hotel. 3/4 star at best!

I had a wonderful stay in Athens. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Athens so far—fresh, varied, and delicious. My upgraded room was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that the AC didn’t cool the room quite enough, despite the on-duty front desk staff’s sincere efforts to improve it. Overall, a great experience and I’d be happy to return.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Lobby area is nice. The bar upstairs is really nice. The room was not great (I took the standard room). Two connected twins like it’s the 80s, not comfortable beds, have to push the toilet flush button with extreme force. Room WiFi doesn’t work properly. The location was useful for the purpose of my visit but I wouldn’t recommend this location for a vacation. All in all not a bad hotel but very poor value for money.
