Das Hotel war während unseres Aufenthalts leider im Umbau. Das Frühstück wurde in einem provisorischen Raum serviert, der eher wie ein Bunker wirkte, da das reguläre Restaurant nicht nutzbar war. Nachdem wir reklamiert hatten, durften wir das Frühstück in einem anderen Restaurant geniessen – allerdings waren Extras wie Spiegelei nur gegen Aufpreis erhältlich. Zwei Minuten nach 10:30 war auch warme Schoggi für das Kind Aufpreis pflichtig… 😖 Auch der Spa-Bereich war enttäuschend: Für die reine Nutzung des Beckens wurden *70 Euro pro Person* verlangt – das bedeutete für uns *140 Euro für nur 5 Minuten Poolzeit*. Erst im Nachhinein wurde uns gesagt, dass der Pool über Massagedüsen verfüge. Abgesehen davon war das Hotel in Ordnung. Jedoch finden wir, dass *bei der Buchung klar darauf hingewiesen werden sollte*, dass sich das Hotel im Umbau befindet. Unsere Kollegen mussten sogar das Zimmer wechseln, weil es durch den Baulärm zu laut war.

It was a beautiful hotel. My husband and I stayed for a week and we enjoyed our stay. I would suggest the hotel to have the indoor pool water at a more warmer temperature. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the indoor pool because the water was freezing and we weren’t the only ones who couldn’t get in for the same reason. We wanted to enjoy it since that day was windy and cold outside we wanted to stay in. Overall everything else was GREAt!

Dejligt stort og lækkert værelse. Meget opmærksom rengøringspersonale. Book værelse med udsigt, det er pengene værd. Lidt skuffet over morgenmadsrestauranten som er beliggende i kælderen uden vinduer og udsigt. Dog er morgenmaden virkelig lækker. Spa er møg dyr at benytte 60 EUR for 1,5 time. We were here on a family trip. We had 3 rooms with balconies & had a partial ocean view. It was in a good, safe location & we could walk to some other delicious beachfront restaurants. The hotel has a freshwater and a saltwater pool, which was nice. The hotel is across the street from the beach, but it had a private tunnel under the road to get there. There were beachfront lounges & umbrellas there. I would recommend wearing water shoes because the beach does have a lot of pebbles. The location is close to Athens, but it is more of a resort area, which is nice. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of thins & a sea view. And the rooms were very comfortable & modern. We would recommend it.

Property is beautiful. Front desk personnel are very good. Breakfast was very good. My major complaint is that service at breakfast for coffee or to get lunch at the poolside cafe was very poor. I waited 20 mins for my coffee 2x during my stay. I waited 20 mins for someone to come over to my table at lunch time by poolside cafe. My room was not cleaned very well. They left dirty glasses of wine for days. Finally the beach needs to be cleaned better. A lot of seaweed. They don’t start cleaning until 9am. Someone should be cleaning the beach at 7am every morning. Amazing hotel but needs better service

We’ve been staying at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso for almost 20 years. It’s always been our little “hidden gem,” especially while most of our friends opt to stay closer to central Athens. Last year, we noticed a few hiccups—reduced staffing, less attentiveness around the pool, and some decline in room quality. But this year, everything changed—for the better! From the moment we checked in, the warm and genuine Greek hospitality returned. We felt that traditional “home” feeling we’ve always loved. The rooms were spotless and, as always, offered breathtaking views of the ocean. The pool area has been completely redone and looks absolutely stunning. The entire space feels refreshed and inviting. The staff—especially Denai and Petros, along with others whose names escape me—were incredible. They anticipated our needs before we even asked. Their attentiveness and care made us feel truly valued. Evenings at the bar and restaurant were a highlight. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and exceptional service. Highly recommend. Absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to return.

Bathroom smelled upon checkin; tv screen was dark; bed end table lamp didn't work; sliding door got stuck after initially opening; no "daily" menu specials at the pool rest-only on the wknds now apparently; pool rest doesn't offer chicken fingers anymore; no more slushies or ice cream by the pool. Less staff overall. During our stay, there was a convention. Guests had gotten intoxicated by outdoor bar/sitting area-they were spitting on the tiled patio floor. One of the evenings, the ladies room downstairs had vomit all over one of the stalls. Staff immediately addressed though. The hotel brand toiletries have changed. Years ago, Bvlgari was offered in the more elevated rooms

This property was beautiful!l, we loved the pools! We were checking in with two friends whom also had booked this hotel post cruise. They were treated VERY differently upon check in than we were, clearly the hotel prefers direct bookings over Expedia bookings. Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience.

On check in staff was not very friendly and I felt I was disturbing them. However checkout staff was great and friendly. I loved that hotel was close to beach and nice restaurants. Did not like smoking in restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast staff seemed too busy to help and just took items off our table without asking us. Since never been to Greece maybe this is normal custom to do this. Hotel was very clean and had beautiful view from our room. Overall we had a very good time and would stay here again.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at Divani Hotel. The manager, a thin man with dark hair, was very rude, and the front desk staff were not very welcoming or accommodating. The hotel’s website claims there is a free shuttle to Athens, but this is not true, which was very misleading. Breakfast was only average – the buffet used to be much better in the past. Property is beautiful. Staff not so much. Upon checking in I requested 1 full size bed for my husband and I but was given a room with 2 twins put together to make full size bed. I put in a request for transportation for my family to airport from hotel and that was not sone correctly. Unfortunately , i would most likely not staff here again. I stayed three nights here in February. The most appreciated aspects were the seaside view, the sauna, the breakfast buffet, the complimentary shuttle service, and above all else, the friendly and professional staff. However, all in all, this hotel—and perhaps hotels in general—has come to be outdated. The pictures are highly deceiving. The only pool available to me at the time was a small, cold pool in the gym area. The gym itself was nothing more than some weights and few machines, some of which out of order. While I paid for a deluxe suite, those pictures too are highly deceptive; the room is small and uses the illusion of mirrors, and had no bathtub, and no smart TV for streaming purposes. The surrounding area is a beautiful seaside, with a shallow sand-bar beach. But as for access to restaurants and shopping, this area cannot compete with downtown Athens. There are a few (nice) seaside restaurants to choose from out front, but you are largely surrounded by residential buildings. If you want to take a 15-20 minute stroll, you’ll find a more lively strip for shopping and dining. Overall, for the price, this hotel could not compete with the amenities available with Airbnbs, nor the centrality of downtown Athens. Perhaps this hotel is best for business meetings, and those who desire to utilize the spa.

Dejligt stort og lækkert værelse. Meget opmærksom rengøringspersonale. Book værelse med udsigt, det er pengene værd. Lidt skuffet over morgenmadsrestauranten som er beliggende i kælderen uden vinduer og udsigt. Dog er morgenmaden virkelig lækker. Spa er møg dyr at benytte 60 EUR for 1,5 time. Den gratis indendørspool er møg kedelig i betragtning af det er et spa hotel med 5 stjerner.

On check in staff was not very friendly and I felt I was disturbing them. However checkout staff was great and friendly. I loved that hotel was close to beach and nice restaurants. Did not like smoking in restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast staff seemed too busy to help and just took items off our table without asking us. Since never been to Greece maybe this is normal custom to do this. Hotel was very clean and had beautiful view from our room. Overall we had a very good time and would stay here again.

We stayed at Divani with 20 family members for our wedding in September. Despite the booking process not being entirely friendly/flexible (we opted to use expedia for a better price). The hotel was just what we needed. The bad first - we asked extremely far in advance if there was somewhere larger than our room that my partner and his groomsmen could get ready in, but they didn't really want to know. We would've paid but they wouldn't let us upgrade to suite and let us in it 2 hours early so timings didn't work. The good - everything else. The hotel is more like 4-4.5* but the food, service, drinks, pools etc are wonderful. Food and Drinks are expensive but faultless and the team at the pool restaurant can't do enough to help. The bar in the evening was enjoyable and the breakfast was superb. Plenty of options and staff always on hand to help. The bedrooms were nice but not the 'wow' you'd expect from a 5*, however nothing wrong with them and lovely views. We would definitely stay here again.

From the minute you arrive, the doormen and entire staff is very helpful. They have TWO pools; the best of any hotel I have stayed in Athens. Breakfast is exceptional. have been a repeat customer for years.
