The Broulee Beach House - Across the road from the beach

A terrific place to stay with kids and dogs. A wonderful big backyard and a great family beach house. Broulee is a stunning place to visit and the beach was so dog friendly.

Such a lovely outlook into native shrubs planted a generation ago and now enjoyed by a variety of Australian birds, all of whom can be watched from the spacious balconies. The sound of the ocean 50metres away provides a blanketing of sound that reduces the disturbance from the other occupants of the house. A happy place allowing everyone to enjoy their holiday in their own way.

This is the third time we have stayed and it does not disappoint. So close to everything. Plenty of space to spread out. Dog friendly. The new kitchen is wonderful.

The house was as described - well appointed kitchen and big backyard for the dog. Great for my husband and I, our daughters and 2 grandchildren. Right across from the beach and close to a great coffee place.

Our family had a fantastic stay with our dog. Perfect for a family or two. Fully fenced yard with large verandah area for dog on hot and rainy days. It is possibly the best holiday house we have stayed at in the area. Good value for money.

A couple of details missing - shampooo, paper towel. Odd that there’s no microwave.

Very close to multiple beaches and pretty walks, the house has plenty of room and very comfortable. We loved the warm outdoor shower in the backyard!

I highly recommend this beautiful home by the sea. Our family of 10 (all over 18) stayed for a wedding, the house is equipped with absolutely everything you need to just walk in, relax, and enjoy the beautiful far South Coast. Quick and clear communication with the lovely Michelle, easy check in and check out, close to all you need in Broulee, 10/10.

Big and spacious holiday home with an excellent location. Walk across the road for the beach with some shops just a stroll the road. Love our time here with family.

Nice home, good location. Easy access to Broulee Beach and within walking distance of cafes and places to eat. Came with all linens and towels. Probably worth adding a space heater for each bedroom in winter. The home has a second floor gas heater and two portable electric heaters for four bedrooms.

Perfect house for a family getaway. Great location - close to the beach, shops and brewery - and a relaxed house with lots of space inside and out.

A great house in an amazing location. Easy walk to 3 very different beaches that suited everyone's needs. Excellent communication with the hosts, theyy very quickly replaced the faulty TV with minimal disturbance to us.

The warning is that although the house is lovely, great location, etc. be advised that Michelle will add hundreds of dollars to your fees when you leave if you follow accepted guidelines on how to leave a holiday house. Our family and another family stayed with our 2 dogs for 7 nights. It was a very nice house and well equipped. Michelle's communication was great and we enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another trip for upcoming holidays. We cleaned the house prior to leaving as expected for a home rental of this type. Specifically, the house was left in such a way that only a standard cleaning (laundry, vacuuming, etc.) would have been needed before the next guests arrived. A cleaning fee was included in the original cost. We left the house as we found it with the exception that it needed the standard cleaning, i.e. we wiped down counters and tables, took out rubbish and recycling, left bedding as we found it, put all items back into original places. Several days later I received a baffling email (so shocking I at first thought it must not have been meant for us) saying we had left the house filthy, there were stains on the bedding, stovetop/oven/fridge were dirty, accusing us of having a cat in the house (neither family even owns a cat--this statement was false), and stating that we had left items from inside the house out in the yard (again, completely untrue--we were meticulous about that). Michelle then charged us hundreds of dollars for a deep clean of the house.
