Loved this property. Great feel from the moment you arrive. Lobby was beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive. We had a Santrian Club room, large size room, walk in shower (so not having to step into bath). Loved the fact it was child free space so very peaceful area, great pool. Breakfast was a buffet so lots of choices. Great main pool area with a pool bar if you’re wanting a more social atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and stay there again

I booked the Adults only Club Room which has a separate pool, Jacuzzi and is very silent. The resort is massive, the breakfast good. SPA and laundry I can’t judge. Happy Hour Cocktails at the pool were great, the best rates in Bali. I enjoyed the stay a lot! Two suggestions: you have a sign at the sun bed to not reserve beds, but you did not take action. Beds were sometimes reserved the entire day. Reception is very friendly but the staff during afternoon tea time at the beach or at the restaurant was not always friendly and attentive. I waited 30 min to be served. The promenade at the beach with all its restaurants is amazing!

Fabulous hotel right on the beach. Stayed in the adults only with a dedicated pool for that area of the hotel. Really enjoyed it. Breakfast was full of options. Service was wonderful.

The Puri Santrian is a very beautiful resort. Gardens are lush and private. The beach front has a large outdoor dining area, sunbeds and lounges for sunbathing and relaxing. It has two large pools that have steps into the pool for easy access. The staff were amazing and friendly. There are many restaurants just a short walk from the resort. Lots of shopping and services such as laundry and massages. loved the beach and the walking path along the beach. You can also hire bicycles for the day and ride along the bike path. Sanur was a pleasant surprise. I loved the hotel and Sanur was a pleasant surprise.

The room was upgraded for our room with a private suite and nice secluded swimming pool. I swam this beautiful pool and feels so peaceful with many Bali flowering trees. I simply love this beautiful space…

We were so excited to stay at Puri Santrian our entire trip as this is the most expensive hotel we booked. We don't feel like it's a 4 star hotel. The check in time was delayed for 40 minutes, and our bedding sheet was full of sand and debris. We had to get them to change it again. The toilet is hardly working, the handle was loose. There were literally very few staff by the pool side. Unlike other hotels we stayed at, they'd pro actively bring you a towel, water and menu. We had to find a staff member and ask for things, then no one would come to us to take orders... So we left Then I walked to them and asked to take the order, still no one showed up. The breakfast was pretty mid as well. The up sides are they have amazing pools and staffs are friendly. The beach is quiet and highly recommended *Edited We were woken up by the staff ringing our door bell around 8:45, asking us when we were going to check out. We were so confused. Our check out time is 12pm, there's no reason to ring our bell early asking us this question.

The resort external area is beautiful, I felt liked I was at the White Lotus show lol. The staff was great but the room was very average. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the restroom, most likely sewage and unfortunately I found a cockroach in my room which I would not expect for a hotel that costs ~300/night. They were very accommodating when I requested for a late (+1hr) checkout. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options. Overall I would not recommend or come back.

Quiet clean resort located on nice beach .Gardens and pools well maintained.Not a big selection of cafes outside but main Sanur tourist area can be accessed by taxi with ease.Only negative was that daily housekeeping of room and supply of toiletries / towels a bit hit and miss.

Alter Glanz noch zu erkennen… schöne Anlage. Toll angelegt. Schöne Pools. Strandbar und Liegen dazu auch nett. ABER, wenn man genau guckt alles alt und abgetragen. Der Poolbereich liegt fast ausschließlich unter Bäumen sodass aus etlichen Metern harte Früchte herunterprasseln oder von Vögeln dort verspeist werden, die sich dann über den Liegen erleichtern. So sieht es auch aus. Spa & Shop waren fast immer geschlossen bzw niemand machte auf oder fühlte sich zuständig. Es gibt diverse öffentliche Toiletten (Lobby, hintere Gebäude, Poolbereich) diese sind unfassbar verschmutzt und zugerichtet. Es war mehr als widerlich diese am Ende des Tages zu nutzen. Frühstück entspricht nicht der Werbung und ist für die Preisklasse wirklich schlecht. Das balinesisch übliche Gebäck, 3 Sorten Obst, Nudeln & Bacon. Milch und Cornflakes. Normale Eier sind umsonst. Benedict etc gegen Aufpreis - genauso wie Cappuccino oder Café Latte. Der Kaffee ist wie in anderen Bewertungen beschrieben wirklich ungenießbar ist. Eiskaffee auch. Die Küche des Restaurants ist auch eher mittelmäßig. Der Service braucht unglaublich lange. Ist aber sehr nett. Dies kann man von vielen anderen Mitarbeitern nicht behaupten. Kennt man Land und Leute, weiß man was aufgesetzt und abgedroschen ist. Dies ist gerade im Lobbybereich der Fall. Man durfte sein Willkommensgetränk nicht austrinken und wurde direkt aufs Zimmer gebeten, obwohl man alleine war. Ein Poolboy war sehr aufdringlich.

Puri Santrian is lovely with lots of pools and in the gorgeous gardens in traditional Balinese style. We got Queen beds instead of Twins (which we booked). The beds were huge and there were no twin rooms left so we had to share. Staff weren’t very helpful in reception.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, set both on the beach and main road. Our room was huge! and had a balcony overlooking the pool which was beautiful. There are lots of different swimming options at the hotel, and free bike hire. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the staff made you feel really safe and relaxed.

I had the Adults only Santrian Room, it was big, the bed was super comfy but it all looked old. Old is fine but I complained about the sewerage smell coming from the pipes, they gave me an oil diffuser.... The staff are really nice and they look after the grounds well. The food was lovely, brekky was great. The location was good.

The hotel/resort is lovely. Its an old resort and the first room we had was on the third floor with no lift which was a bit much with the heat. It was nice but tired. The ground floor room they gave us after we asked to be moved as my back went whilst we were there and I could no longer do the stairs was much better. There are three different types of rooms and I’d be inclined to ask for the newer rooms which are far better. There is a big difference between the old rooms and the newer rooms in the complex which has a lift. The resort is beautiful, the grounds & gardens really are awesome. Lots of swimming pools to choose from so never busy. The staff are very attentive and cant do enough for you. Breakfast is the usual buffet spread & much of a muchness. Cappuccinos or lattes are extra and not cheap otherwise brewed coffee & tea is included but average. Eggs anyway, fruit, cereal, bread/toast, bacon, Indonesian fare is all available and included in the buffet. The resort food is quite good but as usual not as cheap. The resort is in a nice part of Sanur and the Warung Paon directly opposite the entrance to the resort has very good food & a must try. We ate there several times but stick to beer or soft drinks, their cocktails are arak cocktails and not great. Same with the resort bar, stick to actual sprits like Gin & tonic or whiskey & coke or you’ll get arak- nasty. All in all a good experience.

The property was amazing. The grounds are stunning and it is designed lovely with the seperate areas. I felt the rooms were a little dated but very clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back.

Paid for deluxe adult wing . Very average . Rooms were noisy and we had to ask to be moved .pillows are all hard and lumpy and not pleasant . Food in restaurants was good but breakfast was extremely limited and average . Service was poor in the general areas of front desk etc. it felt like everything was a chore for them to do. Hotellet med nästan allt. Äldre hotel men väl bevarat dock behöver lite mer kärlek på vissa ställen. Bra bemötande av personalen men servicen är lite ”klantigt” då fler vill göra samma sak. Minus för att vi inte fick utnyttja ”late check out” trots att en del andra i samma prisklass fick.

Room was good and clean. Staff at this hotel did not look happy and lacked commitment. No cultural or any other activities at all. Breakfast was not bad but not good either. Coffee was not offered so had to work hard to catch someone’s eye. Grounds were in urgent need of maintenance. One lady tripped on a broken tile. No effort was made to fix it. She was badly bruised and shaken and the hotel should have taken her to BIMC for X-rays.. Guests are not made to feel welcome at this hotel. Overpriced and coasting along on past reputation

Loved the beach club and managed to enjoy the seafood BBQ which was delicious. On arrival was given a voucher for afternoon tea of tea & cakes. Lovely pools and poolside service, cocktails and food where I was able to wait for a late flight. The bar staff were knowledgeable and efficient, the porters and concierge were exceptional and they went above and beyond to make this a wonderful stay. Thank you, Puri Santrian, will definitely return.

Second time at Puri and didnt dissapoint again Staff are great , for the most part quiet ,great location beachfront with small warungs close and some local shopping on the beach and along the jalan cemara if you can handle the bartering , walkable to Icon bali (45 minutes) or a 5 minuye taxi (100000 rupiah)with plenty restaurants and more shopping on the way Definitely will be back next year

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, welches teilweise schon renoviert wird. Schöner Garten und nettes Personal. Strand wie in Norditalien- man kann kaum schwimmen so seicht... dafür muss man nicht nach Bali, wo es auch eine traumhafte Unterwasserwelt gibt, aber das soll jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Haben uns aufgrund der Nähe zum Flughafen am Ende der Rundreise dafür entschieden, man hört die Flugzeug dann natürlich auch.

Hôtel bien placé dans Sanur en bord de plage. Belles piscines sans être grandes toutefois. Des matelas de plage en tissus souvent sales. Accueil au lobby assez froid, chose inouïe à Bali. Chambre sombre avec odeur d’humidité prenante. Prises électriques peu nombreuses et d’un autre siècle dans la chambre. Cappuccino en supplément au petit déjeuner. Pas de vrais jus de fruits au petit déjeuner. Cet hôtel réputé à Sanur nous à globalement déçu. Comparé au Prama ou au Mercure, bien moins chers, le Santrian ne mérite pas vraiment ses étoiles.

The staff were all friendly, warm , helpful & polite. The Mezzanine Restaurant had the best Roast Duck I have ever eaten , among other dishes. I highly recommend it.

Stannade 1 natt

Loved the beach club and managed to enjoy the seafood BBQ which was delicious. On arrival was given a voucher for afternoon tea of tea & cakes. Lovely pools and poolside service, cocktails and food where I was able to wait for a late flight. The bar staff were knowledgeable and efficient, the porters and concierge were exceptional and they went above and beyond to make this a wonderful stay. Thank you, Puri Santrian, will definitely return.
