The staff are amazing, especially the Concierge staff (callout to Sprite, Jam and Mike) who always had a smile and helped us out on many occasions during our stay. The breakfast buffet was abundant, although the baked goods lacked flavour. The in-house restaurants are on the pricey side, but that's to be expected in a 5 star hotel, however many other options in the vicinity. The ground floor bar had a singer most nights... much too loud as the sound travelled up the north atrium and could be heard in my room.

Anantara Siam Bangkok is a delighful oasis in the heart of Bangkok. The staff are welcoming and solicitous to all the guests, making everyone comfortable in their own way. The food was delicious. The pool was sparkling clean and surprisingly large for the inner city. We had a fun time breaking our return journey here. Thanks to you all. Cheers

This property was a recommendation from a friend who stayed at a different location. I cannot say enough good things about this property. Lets start with the staff. Extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating from the moment my taxi pulled up to the property. The staff was extremely helpful with suggestions on the easiest way to get to the sites via the transportation system. They were also helpful with recommendations of things to see in the immediate area of the property. Turn down service each day was wonderful as well. Now, the property. It is a great property. The main lobby is elegant. There is a piano player in the bar for cocktail hour that adds to the ambiance. The gym is one of the best hotel gyms I have ever been able to have access to. The spa and staff there was great as well. The breakfast that was provided each morning was fantastic. The variety of food and service was amazing. I recommend including it in your stay. I would definitely stay at this property if I ever find myself in Bangkok again.

Excellent location in Bangkok. Well maintained traditional Thai hotel. Restaurants were very good especially enjoyed our dining at their Guilty restaurant. Breakfast was incredible one of best... quality & variety! Pool needs a refurb however not very inviting (too shaded & mouldy)

Service is great. Typical Thai hospitality. Love the breakfast and staffs. Lobby is super grand. Love it! But sad to say, our stay here was not as grand. Hotel looks very aged, probably needing update soon. The wall plugs in our room is not working, carpet looks unclean. Bed is too springy and our view is looking at the plants service area, really not nice with the kind of money we paid for. The people watering those plants can look directly into our room and at us. Guess we are next to a store room too, constantly hearing knocking and glass bottles clanking. Could have updated with a bigger pool with all those concrete space around it. In fact, could have added more deck chairs for guests as it’s always filled up. Overall I think I wouldn’t come back to Anantara Siam for a while. It’s just too aged for my taste.

It is very much a classic hotel in a very bustling part of Bangkok. Plenty of food choices within it and an excellent pool area. Given the classic hotel, the rooms were nice but the age of the hotel is very much showing in the rooms. The bathrooms showed age with cracking grout in the bathtub and mirrors with rusting spots, and the toilet did not have the electronic bidets common throughout 3-5 star hotels in SE Asia. The staff were friendly, but some had difficulty understanding English. However, we had issues with our room including a non-working telephone and some electrical outlets not functioning. It took the staff two times to fix all of the issues with the room's wiring. If one wants to stay at a classic hotel, this is a wonderful choice even with the issues we experienced.

This hotel is a bit old. Even though they upgrade us to premier room but we rejected as the room is facing construction site and the room is very dark so we stay at deluxe room instead. In general, this hotel need to improve the cleanliness of the room and also need to do some renovations of the room.

The room I had was dated and not of the standard I would expect for the price. While only there overnight, I was ignored repeatedly in both the lobby area and the area in the courtyard when seeking to have something to eat and drink. While the food at breakfast was passable, having to move between 3 different areas is a problem and with no explanation of the menu on the table. While the lobby is pretty, the rest of the hotel is dated and not worth the cost of the room.

Great stay, centrally located, good breakfast spread and comfortable rooms. Only wish there wasn't renovation going on over christmas - the whole hotel smelled of paint while we were there, thankfully the rooms did not.

The welcome was great. We were personally escorted to our room. The food at Guilty was excellent. The room was large and comfortable. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Horrible stay ! When we first checked in the staff were super rude initially we checked in pretty late but they kept us waiting for so long and told us to wait on the side. Then we politely asked for a late check out since our flight was 1 am that day as we’re “ vip gold Expedia members they disregarded that and said no the latest they can do is 1 pm and THEN we asked for a room upgrade or nicer room since we are again vip Expedia members they also rejected and said no you’d think they would wanna be a little more accommodating these guys were rude and didn’t care about their guests. They then put us in the furthest wing of the hotel super old area literally 5 mins walk to and from elevator. Room was super outdated literally bathrooms from the 90s carpet was old and dirty spider webs on the corners. Absolutely shocked that this is a 5 star hotel ! Please don’t spend your money and stay there service 0 and rooms 0 nothing like the pictures.

It took 1/2hour to check in - too long. But check out was quick. My room had no hot water whatsoever. There is no working shower poolside. There is no proper changing room for Ladies with hot showers for Ladies at the Pool. Buffet Breakfast standard has declined particularly Dim Sum and Sushi.

This was a last minute get away to Bangkok and the Anantara looked like a great choice. Everything was very good. My only issue was the check-in: it took a little bit longer that I was expecting - especially after a long day of traveling. Other than that, all was very good and we would certainly return here for a stay.

Very nice hotel, staff service level is top notch, room service is twice a day and all of the staff are very attentive. We liked the breakfast varieties, plenty of room for the kids to explore and the vital is located right next to a BTS. Only downside would be the new year eve performance, loud music lasted pass mid night and families with young kids wouldn’t enjoy it very much, but again it was new year eve so it’s understandable. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

Absolutely stunning lobby, entrance and service was above expected. Excellent hospitality and service in every aspect. Easy walk to shopping and dinning; train stops right outside of hotel making it an easy short hop to MBK shopping mall.

The hotel staff prepared a small cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was big, spacious and tastefully furnished. The hotel also provided drinking water in glass bottles, which was better than plastic bottles in my opinion. Gaysorn village and central world shopping malls were a short walk away. The BTS station Ratchadamri was also nearby. Overall, Anantara Siam Bangkok hotel was value for money and we had a very pleasant stay there.

This is an excellent hotel and the staff are particularly friendly and helpful. The breakfast has an excellent selection of quality product, however, the food could be warmer and it does seem at times more organisation is required. Overall a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel.

We spent 2 nights at Bangkok in Anantra hotel which was awesome. The hotel is well designed and pleasant with diversity of great facilites (24 hour gym, restaurants, coffe, Beautiful public area..). One thing - we ate once at the Indian Accent restaurant in the hotel. the food was good, but I think the value for money is low. In a hotel like Anantra and the prices, the size of the dishes were very disappointing.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent and attentive staff. Close to the BTS and walkable to top shopping malls. Fantastic breakfast with a la carte and buffet options, and The Spice Market restaurant serves up excellent Thai food.
