Lovely hotel with gracious staff. King size bed with balcony was perfect, loved our view of the river. Being able to walk to iconsiam was great (or you can take the hotel boat). The pool area is beautiful and relaxing.

Th Peninsula Bangkok standouts in three of the most important touchpoints for travel. The first is they have a simply exceptional property. It’s beautiful, absolutely stunning in its layout with a gorgeous breakfast every morning stretching along the river. It’s well appointed and calming. The second is that the personal service is exceptional. Staff greet you by name, they remember your preferences - all the things that make a second and third visit even better. They are responsive, which is even more important. And lastly, their location is perfect. Their riverboat tender continuously runs across the river to the ferry dock and other key locations. That’s our preferred way to travel. The local ferry is about 80 cents and will take you everywhere. They are set back from the rod about is quiet and serene. It is not a brand new hotel. It is handsome and has some age showing in little places. But with that comes wisdom. It knows how to treat guests and to respond in advance - and oxymoron I now. But it’s true. It’s the kind of hotel that anticipates what you may need and as a result the service is endlessly great.

Wonderful hotel, takes you back in time a bit. Quiet, classy, authentic. The riverside location is a peaceful refuge within the bustling city. The river boat transit was a fun addition. Steam room and sauna were a great wellness addition for the day. Thanks also to the lovely staff.

This is a beautiful classic style hotel. The service is excellent and food is good too. Unfortunately, there are no power points next to the bed. And the master switch does not provide an option to leave individual lights on. Overall it offers a wonderful experience.

Everything was excellent, thank you! Bring your backup batteries/power packs, as there are only a couple of outlets throughout the suite. Fantastic river views all day long. If you’re lucky, you may catch a surprise fireworks show (hosted by a conference at a nearby property).

Oppholdet på Peninsula var meget komfortabelt. Det er et vakkert hotell, og rolig. Alt går litt sakte der og dette lar deg slippe raskere ned skuldrene etter en hektisk reise eller dag rundt i Bangkok. Slå deg ned med et godt glass hvitvin fra Thailand på riverside-restauranten på ettermiddagen, eller ta med en bok og finn deg et eget lite bortgjemt bord mellom trærne. Peninsulabåtene går kontinuerlig og er er ikke tett med gjester. Lett å ta seg over fra Saphan Taksin med båt fra piren. Vi hadde de luxe-balkongrom, og det var veldig huggelig med balkongen. Men i 18 etasje er det mye støy ute ffa båtene som kjører forbi. Men også mye lyd fra alt annet, f.eks bestikk fra restauranten nedenfor. Det virker som lyden eskalerer på grunn av hotellets form. Men dette var overkommelig og det var stille på rommet når døren lukkes, og ingen lyd fra naborom. Neste gang velger jeg samme type rom, men i de høyeste etasjer. Alt i alt hadde vi et flott opphold og lengter over igjen når vi disse siste dagene av ferien bor på Shangri-La som er et helt annet type hotell. Takk for oss!

The check-in process was very quick and efficient, and I was happy to receive a room upgrade. They also fulfilled all my requests, such as a twin bed and a higher floor, which made my stay very satisfying. I enjoyed the variety of activities offered at the hotel, and the multiple swimming pools were excellent with great service. The staff were all very kind and helpful. In addition, when I had a small injury, the hotel immediately arranged medical assistance and treatment, which I really appreciated.

We stayed at the Peninsula Bangkok just for one night after having attended a dance event over the weekend. The hotel offered a very special ambient, the inside was spacious like a castle and very beautiful and quiet. The room was very comfortable and the service was excellent. We were able to relax and recover in a very nice way.

We stayed here to celebrate our honeymoon. My husband says he felt like a king. Best hotel stay we have ever had and we plan to come back just to stay here again. Breakfast buffet was indescribable. Staff was outstanding- so incredibly respectful, helpful, and nice. The room had an amazing view of the river and pool. 2 bathrooms in our room. Unlimited water bottles. Round trip transfer included them even helping us check in for our flight and check our luggage. Couldnt have asked for a better property.

I was there for one night with my wife and daughter before leaving Thailand. My daughter had gotten ill on the way from Hua Hin and required medical attention after arrival. The hotel team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all the help we could ask for. I have never experienced such attentiveness to guests needs. We will most certainly be back.

Have stayed here before . We like the location and being able to travel up and down to destinations by Hotel curtesy boat. The staff are amazing and can’t be more helpful . I was not well on arrival and the Management team organised a Doctor and Nurse to come within 30 mins with the medication required . I could not have been more grateful and impressed with the customer care given.

Love the location of the hotel by the river and the complimentary boat service to Icon Siam, nearby hotels and Sathorn pier where we took a tourist boat to Wat Arun the Palace & China town. This bypassed the horrific traffic jam in Bangkok.The river breeze made the hot humid weather more bearable. The room was lovely with wonderful river view showcasing a busy riverway. A daily complimentary local tropical fruit was well appreciated and the hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend Peninsula Bangkok.

The service and food at the hotel were very good. The grounds of the hotel were well kept and pretty. The rooms and lobby of the hotel are in desperate need of a remodel. The rooms are clean and large but look like a high end hotel from the early 90's. The price for a Peninsula Hotel is low compared to other cities is low and this maybe due to the age of the property. The rooms desperately need a remodel. If you do not mind a clean, large old room and still want great service and food it is a great choice. Note that being on the other side of the river can be inconvenient as the boat shuttle stops early so you will have to take a taxi back if you are going out after 10;30 PM.

Breakfast not included. Elevators were biggest problem, running slow Otherwise this was the perfect stay. Staff is friendly, attentive, great service. I would stay here again. Location is also great with access to ferries up and down the river. Very convenient bc traffic is terrible.

The Peninsula is a classic hotel with exceptional staff. I really enjoyed my stay and found it easy to access all areas of Bangkok via the free shuttle boat. Walking to IconSiam was just a 10 minute walk. The hotel also provided you options for any taxi or limousine services.

Tout simplement extraordinaire, j’ai dormi dans beaucoup d’hôtels de luxe mais celui-ci en terme de service dépasse vraiment beaucoup les autres, peut être parce que ce n’était pas la haute saison ? La chambre était superbe avec une vue à couper le souffle au lever du soleil. Le service était incroyable a tous les niveaux de la piscine, du petit déjeuner, du restaurant, du hall aux petites attentions dans la chambre…Nous avons eu un dîner très romantique au restaurant au bord de l’eau
