This is a great hotel - the type you don't tell too many people about so there's always availability for you :-)! It has a very trendy appearance. The room was neat and clean with all the amenities. Mine was smaller than average so if you're looking for a large space, this hotel is not for you. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was a bit limited but had several of the usual "free breakfast" items (waffles, bagels, fruit, boiled eggs but no meats) were included. There are other items you can purchase at the desk including some really good muffins and expresso drinks (they won me over with that!). One point: the bath towels are ridiculously small so you may want to pack your own. I don't think they have a gym onsite but there was a pool. The hotel is a fair distance from downtown, FSU, and FAMU and not hotel in which you'd want to spend the day lounging around the property but it's a great place to lay your head if you're going to be out most of the time for shopping or gameday activities.

Clean room and decor was funky and fun. Beds were comfortable and extra offering, like laundry was a surprise. The welcome we received from the desk check in guy was super! We will be staying here again for game days.

An average motel type place. I was shocked that dogs are allowed. One little Mutt barked ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Nothing was done and I kept waking up. Next day I complained at front desk and was given a $25 credit. I should have insisted to be moved. Don’t stay at room 118!! It’s across from where all the cleaning personnel gather to start cleaning. Also it’s next to a laundry room which was heavily used past 11:00pm. You will be awaken by 7:00am by the cleaning ladies which are loud without any regard to customers that need to sleep.

Check-in was great, even with us arriving late in the night. Water temperature was hot, soap, shampoo, and conditioner all provided. We had a solid quiet night sleep. We would come back again for sure. For those who need an elevator, I didn’t see an elevator to go up to the second floor.

The hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly, and the facilities, while simple, are modern and well maintained. The beds are super comfortable and the mattresses are very good. It’s a non-smoking hotel, they have chargers for electric cars (which is a big plus), the American breakfast is excellent, and espresso coffee is available 24/7. Highly recommended 💯. This was our second stay, and we will definitely return. The location is a bit out of campus, but it works well if you are visiting for a busy weekend at FSU, about 12 minutes from Doak Campbell Stadium, especially if you are traveling with a car. Hotels during football season are expensive, this hotel is affordable. The only downside was the musty, damp smell in some rooms, which comes from the AC units. The odor becomes noticeable when the AC isn’t kept very cold, likely due to lack of maintenance. The units may have condensation or have been off for several days, which allows the humid smell to develop. Hopefully, this can be improved for our next stay!

Great stay, great value. Hotel was clean & updated, service was excellent. As an outside sales rep, I stay in hotels weekly, and I've seen great and I've seen awful; I have no problems recommending this hotel at all and will gladly stay here again.

The front desk lady was nice enough but spoke very quickly and quietly. The carpeted stairs going up to the 2nd floor were filthy. It looked like they had not been cleaned in days. Once in our room I noticed hair on the sheets. You could visually see it where the bed had been made. The shower did not look clean and there was a hair in there as well. The area under the beds is carpeted and it had not been vacuumed. You could see crumbs on it.

The upkeep of the room could be improved. The flooring had sharp edges and was up on the corners which cut my feet. Also, they never replaced the fire alarm, and the wires were hanging out. The container that held the soap on the wall near the bathroom sink was loose and I was afraid when I pushed the lever, the whole unit was going to come off the wall. Last but not least, the bathroom shower could have been cleaner. It had mineral deposits on the corner of the door at the bottom, in addition to a dirty area where you stand in the shower. Overall, upkeep needed to be better.

Our room smelled awful and musty. The AC did not work properly to remove any humidity so even the floors were wet. The carpet made the room smell like dog. The only plus was the shower pressure and basic complementary breakfast. Overall would never stay again the smell was overpowering.

I loved this hotel and will absolutely return. It is tucked away in a private location. It was clean, the staff was friendly and checkin and out were easy. The best thing was the beds and pillows were awesome! I slept so well! I will return since it’s on a route I travel often.

Very cute and clean hotel and the location felt safe. Convenient to FSU, about 15 minutes away. My only complaint is it was noisy. Could hear everyone on the hallway entering their room when the keyless entry beeped and doors closing.

Great room. Loved the design and quirky artwork. Bed was comfortable and just what we needed. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Only complaint, the door locks on the rooms beep and are loud enough to be heard all the way down the hall. We heard them constantly throughout the night and it was quite annoying. Other than that, great stay.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the inviting decor and the peaceful, clean environment throughout the hotel. It’s clear that attention to detail and guest comfort is a top priority here. I was warmly greeted by Mikayla at check-in, even though I arrived after 9:00PM. When we arrived, the young lady working the check in counter was not a great way to make a great first impression. She didn't greet me, no smile, told her who I was and that I had a reservation, no response but she looking up my info in the computer. She then said something so soft I had to ask her twice what she said, she then said "Deposit" and pointed to the credit card machine. I put my card in and she handed me my key. Later that afternoon I needed an iron and ironing board. Could not find anyone at the desk but saw this same young lady smoking a cigar outside in the back. I asked if they had what I needed, she took another drag of the cigar, didn't say a word, walked inside to the room behind the desk and gave me the iron and board. I said thank you and she you are welcome.

Staff was really friendly, check in was easy and the whole property was cleaner than your high dollar hotels. For the price, this place was exceptional. Will definitely book here on my next trip to Tallahassee. Keep up the amazing job.

Front desk,all employees very nice.Had a problem with original room. Was taken care of quickly and in new room within minutes. Loved the room setup,the bed,the sound machine in room. Very clean & up to date. Will definitely be back when in the area

Second time staying. Might be the last. It is clean and somewhat comfortable but small rooms. What turned me off this time was the check in person (I think her name was Vi) was beyond rude and unfriendly. She seemed so bothered by us showing up to check in, I came close to asking for a refund and leaving.

This is a great hotel - the type you don't tell too many people about so there's always availability for you :-)! It has a very trendy appearance. The room was neat and clean with all the amenities. Mine was smaller than average so if you're looking for a large space, this hotel is not for you. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was a bit limited but had several of the usual "free breakfast" items (waffles, bagels, fruit, boiled eggs but no meats) were included. There are other items you can purchase at the desk including some really good muffins and expresso drinks (they won me over with that!). One point: the bath towels are ridiculously small so you may want to pack your own. I don't think they have a gym onsite but there was a pool. The hotel is a fair distance from downtown, FSU, and FAMU and not hotel in which you'd want to spend the day lounging around the property but it's a great place to lay your head if you're going to be out most of the time for shopping or gameday activities.

I loved this hotel and will absolutely return. It is tucked away in a private location. It was clean, the staff was friendly and checkin and out were easy. The best thing was the beds and pillows were awesome! I slept so well! I will return since it’s on a route I travel often.

The BOB hotel was a good choice for us. Fun decor and staff were friendly. Our room was on the second floor and there is no elevator. My husband carried my heavy roller bag upstairs for me so no problem but be aware. Also another minor thing: as we arrived, to reach hotel we had to turn left across traffic where there’s no traffic light and you don’t just turn left… have to basically do a U turn and quickly turn right to enter the parking lot. During late afternoon the traffic was heavy but eventually we made it! Hotel has fun destinations and we overall enjoyed it.

Surprising nice hotel that doesn't carry the high price and name of one of the more well known national hotel chains. Clean and comfortable with friendly and efficient service. Would have liked more hot protein selections for breakfast, but not a deal breaker. Clean, comfortable rooms in a safe location for a good price. Highly recommended family hotel!
