Fabulous update to a suite - the hotel itself is outstanding but is let down by the chaotic parking arrangements and lack of sufficient number of staff on front desk. The breakfast was good but a bit pricey compared to other parador establishments.

Restaurant food not very good and older staff seemed disinterested in doing their job.

The room was large and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and bedroom/living area. We were lucky enough to find free parking in front of the parador, otherwise it was €25 per night (2pm checkin to 12pm checkout) in the garage. The meal options at the parador were quite expensive and not overly appealing to us. We enjoyed breakfast in the parador one morning but felt that while the range and quality of food in the buffet and à la carte menu were good, it still felt overpriced at €22pp and we decided not to eat there again. We very much enjoyed the location of the parador, being directly across the walking bridge from the old town and facing directly toward the famous casa colgadas was really nice. The staff were friendly and the building was incredibly clean and well maintained. We would be very happy to stay again in the future.

This is a beautiful 16th century convent that was converted into a hotel. The views of Cuenca hunging houses are stunning. The location is very convenient as its right next to the San Pablo bridge with access to the old town and the staff is very friendly. If you are coming to Cuenca this is definitely the place to stay at. We loved it!
