It’s the real deal. Proper 5 star hotel. Club members get to enjoy more. Well maintained hotel. Not stingy on comfort things like complimentary refills for water, tooth brush, shaving kit etc. even though their pool was under repairs, there was a good alternative at the top floor of the residence.

Lovely stay with very helpful and attentive staff. There was an unfortunate incident where another guest almost drowned in the pool but was luckily rescued by the lifeguard. Both were quite shaken. The lifeguard should have been given a break after the incident rather than just a bottle of water. The pool is quite aged and had lots of visible algae growth, which needed to be cleaned. The pool could do with clearer signage to draw guest’s attention to the fact the pool is very deep for more than half of its length. It is very easy for someone to get out of their depth. My room was great and cosy. I slept well each night. The food and drink were great with lots of choice. I did message prior to my stay to request an early check in as my flight landed at 7.30am but received no response. Luckily I was able to use the spa facilities to change before going out for the day. I used the spa on my last day and was able to enjoy peaceful solitude.

Pool was bit small and was very crowded due to the Eid holidays, but otherwise it was a fun experience. We got two vouchers for our kids to engaage in ice skating. Also, the hotel staff was very courteous and accomodating. The buffet at the revolving restaurant and the morning buffet was very nice.

Arrived early after an overnight flight and wanted to leave our bags to explore Dubai until our 3pm checking. However they had a room available for us at 9.30!! No extra charge. Large comfortable room, nice pool and pool bar, 20minute hot walk to the golf souk.

Great hotel with a great staff. Room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities that you may need. Spa is great. Gym is very nice. Sauna, pool, steam room. Restaurants are very nice for a great value. The location is a little off the main area of Dubai, but since you need to drive anywhere here, it is a great option. Can not beat the cost-benefit.

Check-in was a breeze with Qasim. I told him it was a post-cruise stay and it’s my birthday. There were balloons, towel swans and a cake when I returned to our room after a tour later in the day! The property is connected to the Galleria mall. There’s an ice rink, several restaurants including a rotating/ revolving restaurant on the top floor, and a spa. Our view is the cruise terminal and it was nice to see the giant ships coming and going. The hotel is in Deira: close to the gold and spice souks. It’s a 20 minute taxi ride to the downtown area and Dubai mall; 40 mins taxi ride to Palm Jumeira and 20-30 min ride to the airport. Many thanks to Bhandari in the concierge and valet area for his friendly, approachable, helpful and positive demeanor. Taxis are cheaper than Uber. No need to pre-book airport/cruise/hotel transfers. Taxis take credit cards. This hotel is highly recommended for pre and post cruise stays.

Pros- The food was excellent. We ordered room service a few times. The spaghetti bolognese dish and mac and cheese were really yummy. The spa was ok, however I had a great deep tissue massage. The showers are really good with great water pressure. Cons-There are many areas which need updating. The pool for example is peeling paint under the water. The hot tub was broken, but to the hotel's credit, it was fixed quickly. It was a nice stay but nothing extravagant or 5 star.

The cleanliness of the hotel was very good, the cleanliness of my hotel room was exellent the staff was very helpful and polite always, i enjoy and i felt comfortable in the hotel. The food at the hotel was quite expensive (breakfast buffet, dinner) and the hotel's restaurant was also expensive.

Rooms need full refurbishment, carpet is so old that the whole room smells. Area is not the best quite far away from everything, hotel is more oriented to asian customers due to food choices

The service was excellent particularly at breakfast and around the pool. The hotel rooms are a little dated and could do with a refresh. They are comfortable & clean but felt a little tired. I correctly discerned it was opened in the 80's. I wouldve expected rooms to have usb charging points now. The location was convenient for the airport. Lifts were quick. We didnt make the revolving restaurant but were delighted to see the ice skating rink. It is a busy hotel which seems to be favoured by customers on business or tours.

The hotel is located directly below the flight path and there are multiple A380 at night and early mornings flying by, needless to say it’s not a sound proof hotel. The hotel itself is also dated.

The property was ok. It was fairly clean although could have been cleaner. Beds were uncomfortable and pillows were very flimsy. The staff were not what you would expect in a 5* hotel - they don’t hold open doors (even out of common courtesy), no welcomes/good mornings as you’re walking past. Lobby was always super busy.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all well trained. Especially the restaurant staff at breakfast. They(restaurant) remembered our request throughout the 3 days stay. As I was travelling with a toddler, everyone of them were extra nice to my son. Without fail everyday they will come and say hi to my son. I felt very welcomed.

Stay was ok but post stay experience has been very bad as at the time of check out i was told that complete Invoice will be sent by email and now it has been two weeks and despite a reminder message, no response from the hotel still. Such experiences completely destroy all teh goodwill created by all other factors during the stay.

Had a wonderful 2-night stay at the Hyatt Hotel! Big thanks to Rajesh and Thaha at the concierge desk for their warm welcome and help throughout. Ruth and Deborah were equally amazing. Shout-out to Raiz at the restaurant for the great service and to Russel, the manager, for making sure everything ran smoothly. Great hospitality, clean rooms, and a relaxing vibe. Highly recommended!

The receptionist promised to refund an extra night that I didn’t spend at the hotel as I had to leave for an emergency. As per his guidance, I just needed to send an email to Expedia as I am not the director booking maker and Expedia is acting as a man in the middle tourism agency. The hotel rejected the refund request and I can’t do anything about it. Totally dishonest and incompetent.

This is my second time staying here and staff are always helpful and going above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The location is convenient to explore the creek area - souks and historical Dubai. Its also walking distance to metro line. There is a good choice of restaurants in the hotel but there is a small mall attached to it that also has more casual dining. And a few food places connected to the metro station - I didn't need to go very far to have a variety.

The hotel itself was good value for the price, and the staff was excellent but the property is dated and in an older area away from all the fun in Dubai. Had I know before I would have probably booked somewhere else. I found out later that I could have booked a comparable property in the Dubai Marina but it was too late.

Price/quality it doesn’t get any better,close to the metro and there are always taxis in front so easy and convenient to go to downtown Dubai. The staff makes you feel welcome and are ready to go that extra mile to accommodate your needs.

Mooi hotel, goed ontbijt (betaald), ruime kamer. Pick-up service van de airport ook na middernacht geen probleem. Een paar dagen na het uitchecken bleken wij wat spullen te zijn vergeten. Contact opgenomen met het hotel en zij hadden de spullen gevonden. Wij hebben ze door familie laten ophalen. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van de kreek en de goudsouk, (ca. 30 min,)

Very short but nice! Staff was helpful. The Dinner at The revolving restaurant was good not the best- no pasta dishes, no fries no chicken fingers. Maybe you would want to incorporate kids items.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Staff inside the hotel are very polite. Hotel staff went out of their way to ensure myself was as comfortable as possible. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice in each category from fruit, bakery, to fry-ups, etc. (it’s a good thing there’s a gym and outdoor activities on site to burn the extra calories😄) In some hotels, when you order an omelette you wait several minutes in a queue. In Hyatt my delicious veggie omelette arrived almost in a flash! The masala tea was so full of flavour - just the right amount spice. The gym experience was great. Never crowded. I noticed that if you do not want to exercise in the same gym with men, you can use the aerobics side which I noticed usually had only females. Beautiful sky views from both Al Dawaar restaurant and Helios at the top. I love a good hot water bath. Water temperature was just right! I travelled solo, and I cannot wait to return with family. This hotel is very family inclusive, with lots to keep the kids busy - swimming pools, ice rink, tennis, etc. Special thanks to the cheerful Front Desk Manger who attended to me on my checkout on 14th Dec. I forgot to take his name.
