Super hotel although we didnt eat there. We had a wonderful view of the harbour from our 14th floor window. Pool on roof a delight. We felt the water wasnt hot enough on day 1 and they fixed it immediately. No other issues. This is a high-class hotel at a reasonable price. Recommended.

Staff service varies but overall The Royal Garden offers a comfortable stay at an accessible location. Deposit is very steep, at least compared to hotels I’ve been to in Australia and Singapore ($500HKD per night). Floors 3-15 are definitely nicer than floors >/= 16. The gym and pool are outstanding, very well kept and offer about as many facilities as anticipated.

Very good location with access to promenade and MTR. Hotel is let down by being a little dated and scruffy in places. Asked reception team in advance to mark my sisters birthday. Nothing materialised and I was unable to easily attend the reception without blowing the cover. The pool was also out of action for 2 weeks due to renovation, not advised by email in advance or at check in.

Royal Garden Hotel in East Tsim Tsa Tsui is located in a quiet environment, not far from MTR station. Taxi ride from HK Airport takes almost a hour. Not many eateries immediately close to the hotel, but walkable distance to some nice restaurants with overpriced roast goose and dim sum places. The hotel has a dim sum restaurant which is quite good. Service is good at front desk reception. Room size is reasonable and well designed, although the hotel is fairly old. For some reason the carpeting in the room was very dusty and caused us some discomfort due to the dust particles. After day 2 we complained to Housekeeping and they did vacuum the carpeted flooring, which improved the air quality. For this reason, we decided to look for other hotel options in HK.

The hotel is very well located in Kowloon, close to the harbour. Room was well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. Wifi was fast. The breakfast selection was very good. As our return flight weas very late, the reception were able to have a late check out (paying of course) So overall, we had a great stay. However, two minor remarks need to be made: Check in takes too long, at least 15-20 min per guest and there was a long queue The reception area is huge, however there is nowhere seating provided. So if you need to wait for check in, a taxi or other guests etc you need to stand and wait...

Hotel is very nice and pretty especially riding the lift on the first time. It’s amazing especially with the red new year lanterns. Rooms are ok. I had a sea view which was great. Bathroom was clean WiFi was poor as it only worked near the room. No WiFi in lobby (must be a separate one for public areas I hope). Very close to TST promenade and a few minutes walk to East TST mtr. Easy connection to Austin and the fast rail to China. Breakfast was over 290HkD per person which was steep. And I would not buy again. But buffet style offering was ok but I can’t eat 300hkds worth. My major gripe is the lobby. I had to wait for colleague and only one small sofa in the corner.

The staff was great and the room was clean. My only complaint is that I upgraded my room to the club floor only to find that the club did not open at 8am any more. In the past I was able to get coffee and a snake at the club in the morning before I left the hotel. This year the club did not open until 10am. That didn't work for me. I was already gone for the day. If you are on a business trip and have paid for the club floor in the past beware that they offer much more limited service than before. In the future I won't pay the extra price for the club floor.

We loved our stay at the Royal Garden. A beautiful hotel with a great buffet breakfast. The Tower rooms with a view, are spacious and provide a great view of the city and pool area. The roof top pool is fantastic! Part of our package included the Crown Lounge which I can highly recommend. This provided us with a High Tea in the afternoon and then drinks and yummy nibbles in the early evening. The staff were excellent, especially Lane and Nora, being very attentive to our needs. You can easily walk to the Promenade from here. We highly recommend this hotel

The place was in great condition. Beautiful. 5 mins from shops and malls. It’s a shame we were greeted by some rude staffs. Didn’t check our booking number when we gave them our phones with confirmation and only gave us one room despite the fact we paid for 2. When we mentioned that we booked 2 rooms, staff got annoyed at us and asked for our passports again with a rude tone. We were handed key cards to the rooms but the wifi didn’t work. Went to ask the front desk for help and the staff rudely said “It’s your last name and room number.” I showed him for my room that it didn’t work (note that my companion’s room wifi didn’t work with mine or his last name), got yelled at “No it’s the surname that’s starts with S.” I had to apologise for using my SURNAME for MY ROOM that THEY handed to me. Then the same guy questioned me “Can you understand me or not?” So I was ridiculed for not understanding broken English as well. I unfortunately will not be going back to this hotel after this first day experience. Though, it’s a great location, nice views and nice big beds, I wouldn’t wanna be treated like this after a 9hrs flight. Though, I loved the cleaning ladies, they were excellent, polite and treated us very nice.

We had a wonderful six night stay at The Royal Garden. The hotel is conveniently located in Tsim Sha Tsui, only a short walk from the A21 bus stop (direct link to the International Airport). It's a 10 min. walk to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR and about 15-20 min to the Star Ferry. The promenade is a street away and offers the best view of the Hong Kong Island skyline (perfect viewing point for the Symphony of Lights show). HK Museum of Art, Cultural Centre, Clock Tower, Nathan Street, K11 Musea Shopping Mall, Harbour City, Temple Street Night Market, etc. are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean and was nicely decorated for Christmas. Our room was spacious, quiet, with excellent bedding. We loved the addition of filtered water tap in the bathroom - a great idea to reduce use of plastic. The buffet breakfast was included in the rate and offered quite an extensive range of food, beautifully presented. The only negative was the coffee. A coffee machine would have made the breakfast perfect. We had a room with access to the Executive Club Lounge which included the option of having a set menu breakfast, as well as afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapes (with a coffee machine available) - the finger food was delicious and great value for money. Best of all were the staff of the hotel - every single one was professional,courteous and helpful. Special thanks to Nora, Morris and Lane for their excellent service.

We loved our stay at the Royal Garden. A beautiful hotel with a great buffet breakfast. The Tower rooms with a view, are spacious and provide a great view of the city and pool area. The roof top pool is fantastic! Part of our package included the Crown Lounge which I can highly recommend. This provided us with a High Tea in the afternoon and then drinks and yummy nibbles in the early evening. The staff were excellent, especially Lane and Nora, being very attentive to our needs. You can easily walk to the Promenade from here. We highly recommend this hotel

Excellent staff and services. Breakfast has lots of choices and very good food covering Asian and western style. Location is very convenient with access to all modes of transportation just nearby. The premise is very clean with excellent housekeeping, plus access to rooftop pool and various excellent restaurants within premise. Overall a truly 5-star gem with very reasonable price to boost.

The hotel was beautiful, having a nice view of the court yard everytime we take the lift to our room or going out. Becky and Joey has given my family an excellent experience at breakfast buffet everyday. Their buffet is top notch and great selection. The house keeping was amazing and super courteous. The only negative I would have to say is staying at the Sky Harbour Tower required taking multiple lift to get to... Nice view, but requires indirect ways to get to our nice room. The lift was quick enough and aren't too busy, so not the biggest issue. Overall, great experience and would stay here again.
