Hotel very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Slightly disappointed no restaurant or bar on Sunday evening when we arrived. However facilities available nearby. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced.

The Schlosshotel is nice place to stay in Karlsruhe. It is directly across from the Haubtbahnhof and the main streetcar (tram) intersection. Gave property a 4 because we thought restaurant was pricey and room had no safe or hot water kettle. Front desk staff were very helpful and room was tidy and clean.

Schlosshotel... darunter könnte man sich mehr erwarten. "Zentral" gelegen direkt am Hauptbahnhof. damit kommen natürlich auch die üblichen Probleme, wie Parkplatznot, Lärm und ein paar andere unschöne Dinge... Das erste Zimmer war so laut, dass an Schlaf nicht zu denken gewesen wäre. der nette Concierge gab mir nach kurzer Überprüfung ein Zimmer im ersten Stock zum Innenhof. Das war leider keine Verbesserung, denn hier war das Fenster direkt über der Küche und der Klimaanlage. Die Lärmkulisse war unbeschreiblich. Vom einsortieren des Bestecks bis hin zum kontinuierlichen Gebläse der Klimaanlage. Das Zimmer selbst hatte die Schlosshotel-Tage offensichtlich lange hinter sich. Der Teppich war stark verschmutzt und das Bad hatte den schmutzigsten Heizkörper, den ich je gesehen habe. Am letzten Morgen wollte ich meinen 10€ Gutschein für einen Kaffee einlösen, aber werde die Dame im Frühstücksraum noch eine zur Hilfe geholte Rezeptionistin konnte helfen. im Gegenteil, ich habe Beide lange und laut schimpfen und lästern hören. Definitiv keine Empfehlung.

Wir hatten einen Aufenthalt von einer Nacht in einer Junior Suite. Diese ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Hotelmitarbeiter super freundlich. Eine klare Empfehlung und wir kommen gerne wieder.

A few hundred yards across from the railway station this is an elegant hotel that was, perhaps, somewhat grander in the past. The staff are friendly but one young man seemed not to know the city well and was wearing his mask around his chin! Pleasant, varied breakfast. The rooms are compact and the bathrooms (mine at least) a little too compact. Getting in and out of the shower is not easy for an elderly guest.

Vlakbij het station. Prima ontbijtbuffet. Goede kamer, goed bed, zachte kussens. Fles water op de kamer, helaas geen koffie/thee of minibar. Vriendelijk personeel. Ben tevreden, maar had iets betere voorzieningen verwacht.

Although I told the staff when checking in that I had a very early train and wanted to sleep a full night they put me in a room on the first floor right above their nightclub. I didn’t sleep a second. Can’t recommend.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel am Hbf und am Stadtpark sowie Zoo. Mein Zimmer renoviert in angenehmen hellen Farben. Gruenes vis à vis.Gute Bettausstattung, Kaffeemaschine, Mineralwasser. Kleines Bad leider mit Badewanne etwas schwer zugaenglich fuer Aeltere. Gutes Fruehstuecksbuffet mit sehr schmackhaften Wurstwaren, auch ansonsten gute Auswahl. Personal insgesamt zurueckhaltend. Ein sehr angenehmes Hotel fuer einen Zwischenstopp.

Moreover, I stayed on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, yet they only allowed a one-hour late checkout, and I had to pay €25 for each additional hour. The room was cold and did not have a kettle or a fridge. The staff was not familiar with the reservation system. When I checked in, even though I had prepaid, she told me that I had not paid and that I needed to pay again. After she asked her colleague, he apologized for the misunderstanding. When I checked out, they did not ask how my stay was; they only seemed focused on getting guests checked out. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.
