Very quiet and relaxing. No TV, but that wasn't an issue for us.

We had a nice stay. The farm stay was clean, bright and airy. The kitchen was small but serviceable. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. We appreciated being able to stay with our dogs and enjoyed day trips to nearby mid coast cities. Upsides: great location, except for a delayed check-in, the host was responsive, it was wonderful to have all the windows open and to enjoy beautiful weather. Downsides: the florist shop and workshop are open to the farm stay - while the hosts were responsive when we had questions or requests they didn’t talk to us much, so it sometimes felt like we were invading their space, there was limited space to wander outside as this is a working farm and some areas were understandably off limits and the roadway was narrow with a high speed limit. Overall, we had a very pleasant visit.

Very cute and spacious loft stay. The smell of fresh cut flowers wafted up from the flower shop below. Was nice and relaxing to get off the beaten path and engage with a local family run establishment.

Our second stay at the Flower Farm, a place both restful and intriguing. The apartment has everything you need; the surroundings are full of lush flowering plants both cultivated and wild. The owner brought out the farm’s horse and donkey for us to visit with, and we had a good time rummaging in the farm shop. Set in the quiet countryside of Belmont, the farm is only a short drive away from the bustle of Belfast.

Stacy and her children were absolutely lovely and were excellent at communicating with us. The accommodations were very spacious, a bit rustic and in a remote area. If you’re comfortable with a more rustic setting, then this is ideal. We were vacationing during an unusually hot week in August and there was a window AC unit available for our bedroom. The remainder of the apartment was very warm due to large windows and an excessive heat spell in Maine. The animals were gentle and extremely well cared for and loved.
