We booked 3 nights this hotel at the end of our 3 week tour of beautiful Peru to relax before returning home. The main reasons for booking were that the hotel has a pool and the location near to the historic centre. After we had checked in we went for a wander around the hotel to find the pool and found it closed. It turns out that the pool is "seasonal" and only open for 4 months of the year, December to March. We booked through Hotels.com and "seasonal" is only mentioned hidden away at the bottom of the page. Other sites show the pool facilities in a similar way. This was extremely disappponting for us. The reception and bar staff at the hotel were all really lovely, helpful and efficient Breakfast was a disgrace. No cleared tables available when we arrived at 9am and no staff around to clear a table for us. We ended up taking place settings from one table and moving them to another to make up a table for 2 for ourselves. We had to help ourselves to coffee from the staff serving station as no one was serving coffee. There was no meat of cheese at the counter just empty serving dishes. There were no pastries left just empty serving dishes again Also there were no plates under the serving area to get your food. There was an omelette chef who was doing his best but there was a massive queue given that there was little other food available. The room was OK. Quite dated but clean and maintained (apart from an empty shower gel dispenser) We had asked for a high floor room d

The beds and facilities were great. The location is also perfect, you are walking distance to historic downtown, restaurants, bars, and shopping. The breakfast buffet provided American and Peruvian cuisine. I wish the pool had more amenities, there were no towels when we went there.

They used to treat me very good but the treatment basically nowadays was horrible the room was filthy, the carpets had stained they forgot the trash there was mold everywhere, it was very hard to sleep sometimes because of the humidity, the first time I stay there was amazing was very comfortable but now it feels like they just pushed me to any other room that nobody wants to stay in. I had a car accident and they didn't even say we're going to check it or take care of it now they just said sorry and walked away.

We had to move rooms twice; the first room on the fifth floor- we couldn’t sleep from music coming from a bar playing till 2:30 am, tub was clogged. We asked to be moved to a higher floor - 14th but the airconditioner wasn’t working. The final room had its tub clogged too. For a Sheraton hotel, I was expecting so much more. I had better accommodations from a boutique hotel in Cusco yet didn’t have to pay so much.

I had the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. When we arrived, there were two lines to check in. One for a flight that got canceled and one for guests with reservations. There were four parties in front of us with reservations and in the time it took us to get checked in, the entire airplane line had been helped. It took over 45 minutes which left us with barely enough time to sleep before our next flight. I would like a refund.

This hotel is very nice. But, if you are planning time in Lima, I would suggest staying in the Miraflores area. It is a much safer area and there is more to do and see in that area. Now about the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful but the service is quite the opposite. I was so disappointed with the front desk. The morning we were checking out they tried to charge us twice for a car service from the airport. I don't normally cause a fuss in international places but she was so rude about it. She was also the one who checked us in and asked if we paid for the car already. Also get a receipt for everything.

The toilet leaked. Breakfast buffet was not replaced as items were depleted. Taxis to the airport were overpriced by the concierge..just get a taxi on the street and save 50% of the concierge quote. Paid $120 CAD for an evening checkout, less than the cost of an overnight stay booked through Expedia. Not a great location. Miraflores is a better choice.

The Sheraton is located in the historic center. It’s very congested around this area. The traffic in from of the hotel is horrible all day. This makes drop off and pick up time very long. There’s also not much to do around this area, except an art museum. I would recommend finding a hotel closer to Miraflores or Barranco. I was able to find more shops, restaurants and walk comfortably around these 2 two areas compared to the historic center.

Hotel was overall very nice compared to other locations in Lima. It’s situated in a convenient area of Lima with a metro station in front. The room was nice. Though the sound of traffic is loud, though that’s the same throughout Lima. The floor of the rooms could be cleaner though. Definitely still our favorite property in Lima so far.
