My Place Hotel-Randolph, VT

Awesome to have a hotel at this location. Hotel was great but no breakfast, unless you pay for it. No pool.

Property has convenient parking and is safe and clean.

We enjoyed the use of the BBQ grill and outdoor seating. Combined with the refrigerator in our room, we were able to enjoy a great family meal while visiting our son at Norwich, without going out to a restaurant. He really enjoyed the homecooked meal.

We stayed one night on new year's eve so we could go to Killington the next morning. Check in was easy, staff was friendly and helpful, and there was even a little convenience store corner in the lobby that sold drinks and frozen meals. The room was very clean and had a kitchenette with a standard fridge and microwave. The neighbors were a bit loud because it sounded like they kept banging their cabinet doors shut repeatedly (?) Other than that, great new/renovated hotel.

Parking was very accommodating. Rooms were immaculate. Check in staff were super friendly. Room had a full size fridge with a working ice maker. How unique and convenient. No breakfast but didn't mind, as area had eating places.

Brand new hotel, so its in great condition. Very convenient - only 2 minutes off of 89. Room was big and well equipped with a kitchenette. Convenience mart at front desk is nicely stocked with various options. Only comment is that Room 107 is basically right off of the hotel lobby, so if the hotel is booked, the exterior noise could get very loud.

This hotel is pretty new. The beds were comfortable, the room and the hotel was clean. The laundry room was convenient and was not overly expensive.

I booked this hotel based on a previous great experience at My Place Hotel in Port Aransas, expecting similar service. We stayed for three nights and requested housekeeping on our third day, hoping to return to a clean room with fresh towels, toilet paper, and facial tissue for our checkout the next morning. When we returned that evening, the elevator was out of service, which was manageable since we weren’t carrying our large suitcases. However, we were disappointed to find no housekeeping had been done — towels remained on the floor, and there were no fresh supplies. I had to go downstairs to request clean towels, toilet paper, and tissue. When I asked why our room wasn’t serviced despite our request, I was told housekeeping only occurs on Thursdays. This should have been communicated at check-in so we wouldn’t have left towels on the floor unnecessarily. Moreover, the elevator was still out on Thursday morning, forcing us to carry our heavy luggage down from the third floor. Overall, the reception staff were less friendly than what we’ve experienced at most hotels.

The room was extremely clean

Super easy parking. When I arrived in the room, I took my shoes off to save the carpet and then stepped in a huge wet puddle of dog pee. I asked the housekeeper if a dog had stayed in the room the night before and she said yes. I went to the front desk and told them what happened and they changed my room. I was super off put by this but more upset with the irresponsible dog owner who let this happen to a new hotel. So gross.

Very clean and quiet

Stayed while passing through on my drive to Boston. Hotel and rooms are super clean and comfortable. Bed was super comfortable which is not always the case in hotels. There was also a kitchenette and full size fridge in the room which is always a convenient thing. Woud stay again here without hesitation

Fantastic hotel, large room, modern, and extremely clean. Front desk was very friendly and accommodating. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at and a fantastic price. Would definitely stay again.

Seems like a newer property. Everything was spotless, no wear and tear. Water pressure was great. Water was hot. Full sized fridge,with kitchenette but no cooking pots, pans nor utensils. Not my preference, but bed was soft. Linens clean. Room pictures and descriptions on property site accurate. Would stay again.

We loved the stay at My Place Hotel in VT. Room was super cleaned and the bed super comfortable! Would definitely recommend and go there ahain!

The options were very limited for where we were visiting and the short length of our stay. We booked this hotel with no real knowledge that it is a chain but saw that it was pretty new so I thought it would be fine for the one night. Check-in was fine. The front desk person was very nice and helpful. When we started going up to our room, however, one of the housekeepers overheard what room you’re in and said “oh, I need to check something in your room.” So she follows us to our room lets herself in goes into the bathroom. Mom wants something and says “oh I’ll be right back.” A few minutes go by and she hadn’t returned and we had just finished a pretty long car ride so I went into the bathroom only to find that it had not been cleaned and the toilet was clogged… and not just with toilet paper. It smelled horrific. She returned a few minutes later with a plunger, punched the toilet, cleaned the toilet, and then left the unclean plunger in the bathroom next to the shower. She said she was leaving it “ in case we needed it” I was speechless and the hotel is a very basic hotel in a remote area so there’s nowhere else to go. We avoided using the bathroom for the rest of the night. We left the next day and everything else was unremarkable. It wasn’t until a week later that we realized after a doctors visit that the “mosquito bites” that we had were actually bedbugs from the hotel. I know the options are limited, but save yourself from an experience like ours.

Nice kitchens in room with full size refrigerator and microwave. Ample shelving and storage in kitchen and bathroom. Clean, quiet, friendly and affordable. What more could we ask for?

Loved the recliner in the room

This hotel opened last year so everything is relatively new. It has a cook top, full frig, and sink but no pots or pans, utensils, or plates. They do sell things in the lobby to cook with if you want to spend the money. They could use a little sound proofing between the floors. We could hear the people above walking around. All in all, I would stay here again.

This looks like a fairly new property. The room was fairly large and clean. Plenty of space to spread out your things without having to set bags on the floor. The bathroom was nice and clean too. It had a full kitchenette including refrigerator with separate freezer, microwave and two burner cooktop, even a toaster. Pretty nice! The odd part of this setup was that there were no pots, pans, cups, plates, not even a plastic fork. So strange.

When I booked the room and looked at the pictures, it seemed to good to be true for the price. However, when we got there, we weren't disappointed at all: the room was spacious, comfortable, well equipped with a kitchenette and we slept very well. On top of that, we had a friendly welcome. We will definitely book again if we need to in the future.

I am happy there is nice place to stay near where I live. It was great to be able to stay at this property with my family. I am glad we now have a great hotel in our area.

Property looks brand new, thought I am not sure how old it is. Each room has a full size refrigerator and 2 burners - unfortunately, no cooking pots, pans, plates, dishes or utensils were in the room

My Place is new (a month old) so everything was brand new. The room had a full kitchen, range top, full refrigerator with ice maker, counter sink etc. my only complaint was all the lighting in the room was on one wall switch and there was a lamp on only one side of the bed.

The hotel is so modern that the shade on the window has a remote control that is attached to the wall over a desk. We didn't know that and couldn't figure out how to pull it down. We had to call the desk clerk to help. He promptly came to our room and figured it out for us! Instead of having ice machines, they have full size fridge in the room and the freezer makes ice cubes. Also, a 2 burner stove is in the room along with the microwave. All and all we were very happy with our stay at this new motel and will use it again in the future!

It is a nice hotel in a very quiet area. The staff is great! When I left a piece of equipment behind in the lobby, they went through great lengths to get it back to me.

This was a new hotel--very clean and plenty of parking. But the staff seemed untrained and was not helpful. There was a reservation complication/error and I was woken up twice late at night to be sure I was a registered guest. Very insulting and infuriating!

Wonderful facility. The only problem was that Expedia totally screwed up our reservation. Luckily the manager was able to find another room for us. Loved the facility. I’ll never use Expedia again.

We came a night before NYE .. the day of NYE i asked to just bring fresh towels and make the beds so it's nice in the room as we are planning to celebrate NYE in the room.. The staff replies " we do cleaning on the 4th day of ur stay" .. so you telling me i have to use the same towels 4 days in a row before getting a new one ? all i'm asking is to make the beds not the WHOLE housekeeping and i have to wait 4 days for that . New Year's day my husband took out the trash on his own NO ONE even bothered coming into the room!!!! Will i stay here again? I highly doubt it!!

- they only clean the rooms every FOUR days. So we had to make our own beds, and call for the front desk to deliver coffee and towels - no safe - lobby is pathetic. Just four bistro tables and chairs - staff is not friendly - expensive for the limited service provided. - no closets, just a shelf with a rod - no grab bars in the (slippery) bathtub - it has a kitchenette, but no china or cutlery. No cooking pots either. - only one lamp in the nightstands. We asked for another one, they said they didn't have any. - they said they were "full", but there were only 10 cars in the lot. - full size fridge was noisy - no extra trash bags or toilet paper.

All three of the staff members we had interaction with obviously have had zero training in hospitality. Do some training or hire people who are more naturally pleasant.

This property is beyond well cared for the rooms are appointed nicely and they are very well cared for and cleaned. I would stay here again in a minute. The staff is very accommodating and the check-in was a breeze.

This is a new hotel. It's convenient right off the freeway. Not much around it yet. The town of Randolph Vermont is just 4 miles away with restaurants and gas.

Great location, clean and safe, easy parking and excellent laundry facilities. Close to Barre, Montpelier and Northfield.

Great stay! Very convenient, right off the interstate but slightly off the main road so it's very quiet.

Nice new hotel very convenient to I89, Vermont technical college, and a short drive to Barre/Montpeloer in one direction and Killington in the other. Bed was comfortable and all the staff were very pleasant. It was blissfully quiet at night. I will choose this hotel again. Just be aware that there are no amenities near hotel so plan to eat en route or bring a meal.

We were greeted and checked in promptly. Our room was clean, comfortable, and we even had a kitchenette. My Place is conveniently located just off I-89's exit 4, just a short drive to Vermont Technical College or downtown Randolph. Freshly-brewed coffee and tea available 24/7 Checkout was also a breeze. We'll definitely be back!

Clean, new and right off the highway. No Dining near the hotel, limited options nearby. No local place even for a standard breakfast to start the day. This the main reason I wpuld think twice abput staying.

Facility is great, room was clean & staff helpful. The room was a decent size for our family of 4. Upon our arrival in the afternoon, the only negative we experienced is no dining options. This is a very small town so not much is convenient & available. After driving a few hours to get there we didn’t want to have to drive 30+ miles to find decent dining.

Great clean no frills overnight stay off right off I-89. Less than an hour from Killington, Sugarbush and Stowe ski resorts. Grab food first in Lebanon if heading north as there aren't any food options near the hotel.

The place is brand new so there couldn't be anything wrong with the facility. Breakfast was a little skimpy but there is a McDonalds less than a mile away. My room had a full size fridge, sink, cooktop, microwave, toaster. All brand new.

The in-room coffee was a bit of a problem as the provided coffee and filter did NOT have instruction's as to how many cups of water should be added to the carafe. However, the in-lobby 24-hr coffee was excellent. The TV could have had better instructions and a printed channel directory next to the remote.

Friendly staff, the facility is clean and well-maintained. The room is fairly new and fully equipped. They offer free coffee, but there’s no breakfast.
