Days-Inn by Wyndham Cedartown

Don’t know how this hotel passes inspections! Dirt , bugs , nothing works. Don’t stay here.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was more spacious than I anticipated. The atmosphere was quiet. I felt safe staying there.

When we arrived and went to our rooms, I really was impressed. Our room was large and very clean. But it went downhill from there. They look like they have been going through a remodel and ran out of money. Although a pool is advertised, they’ve turned the indoor pool into a conference room. At check-in, there is a laminated sign that says “we no longer have a pool. Sorry for the inconvenience.” There are laminated out of order signs (which to me says that they’re in it for the long haul) on everything! On the ice machine, the vending machine, the coffee dispenser and juice dispenser. At breakfast, there was coffee in a pump pot. Bread options at breakfast were thin sliced white bread and bagel halves in individual sandwich bags that were dated. No juice and the only fruit option was slightly over ripe bananas. I’m not quite sure how they are open for business. We had booked a stay there for our return trip through that area and immediately canceled it.

Fix the toilet that wiggles, fix the bathroom door latch, a/c needed maintenance, frig was not cold (not working) and the room and bathroom was not cleaned Breakfast was non-existent - bread and coffee with some additional minor things. They hotel should not publish breakfast included since it was very weak. Owner did not address the guests when he was addressed - no good morning from him or the management group. Employees (at least 2) are afraid of the owner Not a good hotel and Wyndham should not have their name connected to it.

Room was fairly clean but had a strange smell that never went away. Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom shower curtain was non-functional and walls showed signs of mold being removed. Desk was tiny and the only 1 desk chair in room was like a patio chair. Coke machine barely stocked. Breakfast was a joke at best. No pool.
