We stayed there about 6 years ago and found it charming and classic. This stay was just as pleasant. The price was reasonable and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was great. The parking was a bit inconvenient as we had to park in the municipal lot about 2 blocks away, although it is a safe underground garage. The hotel allows you to drive up to drop off and pickup luggage. Staying in the old city, walking distance from everything made up for any inconvenience. We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful historical property. Staff was courteous, but did not go out of their way to be helpful. Parking not as advertised - had to find public parking several blocks away from the hotel. GPS just provided a nearby location, had to ask for directions to reach the hotel.

Sehr gute Lage, quasi mitten in der Stadt, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Parador ist sehr schön eingerichtet, toller Innenhof, wo man seinen Apéro nehmen kann. Sehr kleiner Parkplatz.

Everything was great except a leaking air conditioning unit that leaked a ton of water on the floor making for dangerous slippery floor conditions. Staff were helpful to supply towels, etc but no other discount or offer was made. The dripping impacted sleep quality in particular on the second night. The staff were kind and highly apologetic. Would stay again as the hotel was lovely and so is the area.

It is a very old hotel but very well maintained. Walls are thing and a little noise from upstairs. For an old property it was well maintained. But please clean the ceiling of the elevator. I am a tall guy and i can see a lot of dead bugs…

I was very happy with my stay at this location of a Parador. My room was large and had plenty of room to spread out. The room retained the style of the building. One strange thing was that the chairs for sitting were really short. Breakfast buffet was nice and had lots of choices plus you could order omelets and espresso drinks. I wish the restaurant opened at 7am

This is an beautiful old house with gorgeous decoration. Room looks good while because the whole building is really，the sound proof is really bad，I can hear every step from upstairs and every voice from the neighbor，especially in the morning，people walking along the corridor，pulling the luggage back and forth，wake me up several times… Also I ask for the kettle but they refused… Dinner is with 10% upcharge of the service fee，I can fully understand that while the taste is just soso and quantity is just fair.

No coffee maker/kettle in room. No coffee/tea in lobby nor is there room service prior to 8am (no close cafes open either). On-site indoor/outdoor restaurant is loud til late at night. Loud bars near/next to property were still open at 3am with obnoxious party revelers. Hard bed. So, avoid hotel if you want quite at night, to sleep well, or drink coffee/tea prior to 8am. We were in room 104 for reference. Otherwise pretty hotel and pleasant staff.

I traveled for the World Championships and had a bike. They didn't allow bikes in the room which was understandable so they allowed us to store our bikes in a garage attached to the property which I was fine with. This worked for days until the manager arrived and wanted to park her car in the garage. She was very rude and the pleasant staff all of a sudden were negatively impacted by her poor leadership. Since Pontevedra is hosting the world championships again in 2026 I would strongly discourage against this hotel if you are traveling with a bike.

What a disappointment! One expects more from a Parador. I reserved a double bed, but received two twins that couldn't be completely pushed togsther No hot water in the shower, no complimentary water bottles in the room, a self-service pod espresso coffee machine for the 19 euro breakfast, along with expired yogurts and sugar/salt from packets rather than appropriate serving dishes. The omelette was semi-warm and had no fillings. Everything was significantly below the quality one expects - and that we paid dearly for.
