Delta Quebec City is a tired property in the public areas. We were there for 3 nights during the week and the up escalator was not function so we had to walk up. Lobby on entry level is not great and no one available to help with luggage. Had to take elevator to 3 floor then change elevator to get to rooms

Nice pool, but wished it was open weekdays before 1700hrs. Lovely staff, clean rooms but in need of some small repairs. Overall, a reasonable place to stay with kids. Great location

The rooms are worn out but clean. The bed is very comfortable. Room doors are very thin and you hear every other guest walking in the corridors and in front of the elevators. it is highly difficult to sleep without disturbance. Parking garage does not belong to the hotel, it’s a separate company and it is very very dirty. The garage floors are full of piss and the garage smells very ugly.

Overall very good. Only two areas for improvement. Dinner at the sister Marriot fell short. Pasta was barely warm. Mussels and shrimp were almost microscopic. No garlic, spices, etc. Other shortfall was the heated, outdoor pool hours. Sat. and Sunday OK but M-F only 5PM to 9PM.

The hotel is under construction. The elevators were slow, noisy and did not always stop level at the floor leaving a ledge to navigate with suitcases. The parking is not managed by the hotel therefore room credits cannot be used for it. The proximity to the old city was a bonus and vary walkable.

Very nice hotel, comfortable, modern, clean, quiet, and close to shops and restaurants. Exterior heated pool in a winter setting a very nice bonus. Interior parking very handy and safe. Staff was very polite and eager to help. Had dinner at the Bistro restaurant, excellent food, and service. Our stay was for three nights for Christmas shopping and visiting the sights of this beautiful city. Absolutely no regrets! Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. The business center computer/printing process was not great. Very unusual hotel layout. Very clean. Heat in hallway was excessive. Outdoor winter pool was fun. Would definitely stay there again.

The carpeting in our room was badly worn and fraying at the doorway and looked somewhat dirty. Definitely time for replacement. The room was nice, but not very quiet. Road noise was very loud in the room and you could here conversations from out on the street.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est excellent et facile d’accès. Le stationnement sous terrain est très pratique. Les lits de la chambre étaient confortable et la télé de bonne dimension. La piscine extérieure accessible meme en hiver est vraiment un gros plus de l’hôtel. Par contre, pas de toilettes ni de vestiaires disponibles pour se changer. L’hôtel est en construction mais ce n’est pas très dérangeant en tant que tel. Les points négatifs du séjour sont au niveau de la propreté de la chambre. Il y a avait pas mal de poussière et une odeur désagréable dans la chambre (probablement du au tapis). Dans les couloirs aussi le tapis n’était pas super propre.

The first they gave me was full of dust , on table , phone , everything ! The TV did not work and a hair in the bed . They then assigned me an upgrade room where the USB outlet didn’t work , my only option was a bath as the shower did not work and bathroom plug ( for hairdryer ) broken . No other mirror in the room . It was pathetic.

Location of the hotel is amazing, however for the price of the room, its a pretty average hotel. Rooms look a little dated, theres not much in the room, a small bar of soap and the tiniest of hand lotion. The bathroom has barely any light, and had mismatched light bulb. I don't know overall, for the price... not sure i'd revisit.

The room was clean, and the view was great. There is a restaurant on site that has yummy breakfast. We opted for a la carte as we dont eat non halal meat. One meal was good for 2 people. These are large portions. The location is within 15 min walk of Chateau Frontenac. Lots of up and downhill, but very safe.

We booked a room for one night and wanted something comfortable. The room had a great view and once we turned up the heat, it was comfortable. The bed, however, was just okay. The mattress was too firm and there weren’t enough blankets. The worst though was the shower. We had a trickle of water from the shower head and the rest came through the bathtub faucet. The other problem was that the lightbulb in the door entrance was burnt out. Even with the other lights on and the curtains open, we had a hard time finding our boots and the key. Frankly, I was disappointed. We mentioned all of this to the receptionist at the front desk. She was very polite but by then we were checking out so it was too late for her to do anything to help us.

Front desk staff was friendly and quick. We had an issue with the AC in our room, and when we brought it up we were offered to either have a tech look at it (and she said it could be a little bit), or to move us to another room. We opted to move, and it was seamless. The pool area was clean and a nice place to sit outside to read and relax. There was a DJ playing music on Saturday and Friday night in the upstairs lobby which we thought made a nice atmosphere. Parking garage was convenient, and the location of the hotel is easy to get to, and is less than a 10min walk from Olde City. Next door to the convention center and public transportation. We would definitely stay again!

It was convenient and the front desk people were very helpful with check in, directions and things to see in Quebec and Old Quebec as well as surrounding area. They also spokes perfectly good English which was nice.

Waited over 5 hours in lobby for check-in, during the wait time no one really cares about client experience. Eventually got room after midnight, but bathroom sink is broken, too tired to ask people to fix. Called front desk next morning, no one picked up the phone, next time called put me on hold for more than 30mins. No service at all, the worst delta I ever stayed at. A/C set to 20 degree but room temperature always @ 26 degree. Called front line to report issue, no one came even after we checked out. Do Not book this hotel! Not recommended for anyone wants to travelling to old Quebec. Even motel service is better than this!!!

Pour la première fois de ma vie, ma réservation n'a pas été honoré. Pas de chambre pour nous à notre arrivé vers 21h30. Ils ont tenté de nous relocaliser dans un autre hôtel vraiment moins bien mais aucune confirmation du Travelodge après 45 minutes d'attente. On nous a demandé de nous rendre au Travelodge et de dire que le Delta nous envoyait. Arriver au Travelodge nous avions des doutes sur la qualité de l'hôtel. Nous avons donc repris la route pour 3h et nous sommes retournés chez nous. Très déçu pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse. Le personnel a été courtois et ils ont fait des efforts mais la déception demeure. J'avais même pris la peine d'appeler en après-midi pour être sûr que j'aurai une chambre.

Pour la première fois de ma vie, ma réservation n'a pas été honoré. Pas de chambre pour nous à notre arrivé vers 21h30. Ils ont tenté de nous relocaliser dans un autre hôtel vraiment moins bien mais aucune confirmation du Travelodge après 45 minutes d'attente. On nous a demandé de nous rendre au Travelodge et de dire que le Delta nous envoyait. Arriver au Travelodge nous avions des doutes sur la qualité de l'hôtel. Nous avons donc repris la route pour 3h et nous sommes retournés chez nous. Très déçu pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse. Le personnel a été courtois et ils ont fait des efforts mais la déception demeure. J'avais même pris la peine d'appeler en après-midi pour être sûr que j'aurai une chambre.

Staff was very polite and eager to help. Had dinner at the Bistro restaurant, excellent food, and service. Our stay was for three nights for Christmas shopping and visiting the sights of this beautiful city. Absolutely no regrets! Highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay was terrible. We drove about 15 hours to Quebec for this family vacation and were looking forward to our stay at the Delta Hotel (which we reserved because it was listed as pet-friendly and we were bringing our small dog and cat with us). At check-in, the person checking us in was rude and not helpful. First, our cards were all declining, prompting us to call our bank. We were told by the bank that they were not blocking any transactions and that we should be good to go. When we explained this to the lady at check-in, she just looked at us and said it was "NOT THEIR MACHINE BECAUSE SHE HAD BEEN CHECKING PEOPLE ALL DAY" (caps to reflect tone). We asked her kindly to try a different machine, as we were at a loss, having used our cards all day without trouble. She tried something else, and guess what? It worked! :-/ No apologies, but at least it worked. After checking us in, she noted that animals cannot be left alone in the room at any point. That threw a curveball at us, since the weather in Quebec was pretty cold, and we were carrying our dog and cat all over town while exploring. As we walked to our room, we noticed the hotel was FILTHY. Not only were the lobby and elevators disgustingly filthy, but our room was disgusting. We've never experienced anything like it. My family and I ended up leaving the hotel after ONE night and booking somewhere else. If I could give this place a -10 rating, I would.

We like that it is close to the old Quebec City and walking distance to restaurants near by, as well as, the Quebec Parliament and battlefields. Hotel is clean and friendly staff. Will be back again.

Overall not bad Upgrades going on so there should have been some discounts Felt safe there though - except in shower . Seniors need lots of grab bars AND at least some tub grips to keep us from slipping in tub Breakfast was so overpriced As far as convenience - it was well located to all that We wanted to attend Wish there was a better restaurant on site and a better breakfast venue

Not sure why Marriott put its name on this hotel. On the good side, the gentleman who checked me in at 11pm last night was very nice and helpful. It went downhill from there. I wanted a room with a comfortable bed and an in room safe. The room I booked was not available, so he apparently moved me to a larger room after checking to see if one was ready. What I got is a very large room with a lumpy king size mattress which would only be appropriate in a tenderloin flophouse. It is definitely not the Marriott Matress I’m used to. The room has a huge floor area covered in a worn, dirty and stained carpet. The bathroom door squeaks loudly from all 3 hinges; the toilet seat is not properly attached to the toilet and the toilet paper holder is hanging at a sad angle. A large tile piece is missing in the bathroom. Debris that was on the 5th floor area leading to rooms at midnight last night is still on the floor at 10pm tonight. The 5th floor common area carpet is threadbare in places and obviously not clean. And of course, the advertised in room safe is not present in all rooms and not in mine. The $28 breakfast buffet is bare minimum and the meager amount of bacon was gone by 9:30. Breakfast supposedly runs until 10:30 At $300+ a night, I feel like Marriott has scrolled SUCKER in big letters on my forehead. I love my first visit to Quebec City but I recommend you avoid this hotel at all cost.

This was one of the worst Deltas I have stayed at. The room I was in was so dated, dirty and broken down. The carpets were stained, it was filthy with dust everywhere and the bathroom sink literally smelled like sewage which stunk up the whole hotel room. The shower faucet was broken, the lamp shades were ripped and dirty. The fridge was sitting in the middle of the room unplugged when I arrived, the floor lamp was also unplugged. The cleaning staff did nothing to fix these issues. On day 2 of my stay, there was a problem with the door to the Elite pantry so no one was able to get in. The pantry had expired milk in the fridge, ran out of oat milk and the coffee machine ran out of coffee (on a Saturday morning). The staff were unfriendly and had zero desire to fix the issues. Never staying here again.

Upon arrival my room was upgraded once I mentioned I was a Marriott Envoy member. My room was spacious and very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. The gym was also spacious and clean. Hotel is in a great location. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Old Quebec and buses stop in front of the Hotel if you wish to venture out to other areas of Quebec . I also found a Laundromat , a 10 minute walk away. I definitely recommend this Delta Mariott Hotel.
