Old...utilized the spa and the massage was great. The package included the jacuzzi but it was old and jets didn't work. Front desk staff was loud while getting the massage. Had to request towels and spa smelled of mold.

Amazing stay! We’d definitely come back — we loved the rooms, the heated pools, the rooftop, the included breakfast, and the semi-private beach area with Hilton’s loungers and umbrellas. The location is perfect for walking, shopping, and enjoying restaurants and bars. Super central, and you can leave your bags on the last day to enjoy more time before heading to the airport. The cocktails and views from the rooftop are spectacular, and having a heated pool is a total win. We’ll be back!

The atmosphere and incredible views from the rooftop bar and pool are worth the stay alone. The added convenience of the complimentary beach side chair/umbrella/towel service offered by the hotel was a pleasant surprise and nice perk we weren't aware of prior to booking. So many amazing restaurants within walking distance as well.

Great location and great facility , gym and spa are great. Best priced 5 star on Copacabana. Walk to the beach , walk to lots of restaurants in the area. 5 min cab ride to Rio Sul shopping mall. Amazing breakfast and the best rooftop bar on copacabana .

The entire hotel feels “dirty” and is in dire need of a renovation. There is security at the entrance but no one to assist with luggage. Front desk staff friendly. Housekeeping sub-par; laundry service fast; spa has no soap for showers and towels are kept behind the reception desk. Overall a disappointment in hotel accommodations.

Overall, the property is great but the one thing I notice and bothered me a lot, it was the detail cleanliness. For example, the shower heads seemed to be very old and haven't been cleaned in a long time. It had mold built up which resulted in me cleaning it myself with a towel. Its in a great location and the staff were amazing.

The best part of this hotel are the amazing views from the roof top. Perfect location near Capacabana beach. Food for breakfast was amazing too. We were pretty disappointed with the conditions of the room, facilities and cleanliness. The room was dirty, the furniture in a room was outdated and falling apart. Wooden floor very old and full of scratches. I had not idea that Hilton has such low standards.

I moved from the 8th to 17th floor for better view. In both rooms was a smell of mold, especially in the closet spaces. The shower heads in both rooms had not been cleaned properly, the were both rusted. The metal doorstopper in the bathroom, I kept stomping my toes on. If I had stepped down onto it, it surely would have gone through my foot because it didn't have a cover on it, just sharp metal edges. The sign directing us to throw tissue in the trash can & not the toilet was the worst. Very unsanitary & the trash cans had no lids. Why put poopie paper in a trash can with no lid. I couldn't do it. I expected more from the name & price.

Our stay at the Hilton Copacabana was incredible. We loved the location on the beach. The staff were great and were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The pools were heated to the perfect temperature, so we could relax comfortably. The breakfast was top notch and something I looked forward to every morning. 5 stars all around!!

The hotel is old, our room is just beside the elevators and it was very noisy when the elevators were going up and down, it never stops, when we were in the room, we can hear very loud sound of the elevators moving. Especially in the midnight, the sound was very obvious, we woke up several times a night because of the sound. Highly recommend that you have to choose the rooms away from the elevators!!

We had a great experience at Hilton Copacabana. The staff are INCREDIBLE, cleaning staff go the extra mile, breakfast has tons of options, and both restaurants (4th and 37th floor) have great food and drink. Security at the entrance of the hotel is top notch. Complaints: the wifi is absolutely terrible, you are situated in a pretty residential area (not much shopping but plenty of pharmacies and supermarkets), the walk to the beach can be a bit tricky if traffic is heavy.

I’ve stayed here for business a number of times over the last few years. The hotel is becoming very tired and dated. The facilities and location are good, which is why we tend to stay there (meeting space, outdoor bars/dining, easy access to the CBD) but the bedrooms are terrible. Not unclean per se, but old and grubby. The bathroom was not pleasant, and the furniture had seen better days. To make matters worse, on arrival there were coach-loads of tourists (possibly cruise) in the lobby and it took a long time to check in. I think if a hotel is being used for bulk bookings like this, perhaps they should warn other visitors. I’m not sure we will stay there again.

We were disappointed with our stay. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The hotel entrance is plane and uninviting, waits at the front desk can be long. The hotel sits on a busy intersection which is frequented by people begging. The entry area and drop off are not clearly separated from the street so there is no way to really step away from the traffic. Finishes are dated and unimpressive. We got a smell from the plumbing. The remote control for the TV needed batteries. While in our room, we could hear the elevator moving between floors. The service in the restaurant was slow. The furniture around the 39th floor pool was old and in need of replacement. Not what we expected from the Hilton. We came to take our bags out of the room at 12:06 to check out but the our keys did not work, I assume we were locked out of at 12 exactly on the day of check out. I will not be staying there again.

Honestly, for the price and oceanfront view, worth it. They screwed up by saying 8th floor was considered a “high view.” I had to ask twice about that and three days into the trip, they offered to move but that felt pointless. For a 39 story building, felt a little pathetic. Have more tiers. Overall, there were a few amazing staff, I believe Joffrey was one and I wish I could remember the other that remembered my name! However, I tried to call room service a few times and no one picked up so it was challenging and pathetic to find more toilet paper and towels.

I genuinely was looking forward to staying at this hotel after seeing positive reviews but, unfortunately, the front desk staff was so extremely rude that it completely ruined the experience. Additionally, the room was not available for checkin at 3p, but rather we had to wait until around 4:30p for the room to be ready and, when asked, the front desk staff offered no solution. Further, in a hotel with a constant revolving door of people, my friend and I were the only ones stopped by security to prove that we were staying at the hotel. After we complained, the front desk blamed the issue on their security team that they claimed was not affiliated with their hotel. A complete lie. I do not recommend staying here until they get a better front desk staff.

My partner and I came to Brazil for a week and stayed here. The location is excellent and right next to the beach. The hotel has a designated area where you can get free chairs and towels. The view on the rooftop is breathtaking. You can see both the Sugerloaf mountain and the Christ the redeemer. The breakfast buffet was great too. Other than a few amenities being outdated, we encountered no problem and really enjoyed our stay here. For foreign travelers, the hotel has outlets compatible either with 110v or 220v; don’t forget to bring type N adapter. Appreciate your.

Overall great staff, location and environment. They clean the room regularly and the staff made sure that everything was up tonour liking. They really catered for us. We accidentally booked 2 twin beds and it was 3 of us which they provided an extra bed complimentary. So thankful!!! The only criticism I have is with the breakfast buffet. The options ate very limited and too carb driven. There is options for fruit but being of Latin influence, i was expecting more in terms of variety.
