Area piscina é mini e não tinha aspecto de limpeza. Os quartos são pequenos mas para poucos dias atende bem. Localizaçao excelente mas o custo para guardar o carro é elevado. Recepçao pequena e cheirando mal, com ar parado de circulacao de muitas pessoas. Sem aspecto de limpeza. Nada a reclamar do atendimento.

Nice hotel, brilliant location overlooking Copacabana. We had a sea view room which was well worth the extra cost. Only disappointment was the WiFi, in our room it was awful, kept dropping out, couldn't send messages etc. It seemed better in reception and on the roof. The pool on the roof is tiny so it's more for a dip rather than a swim. There's a bar on the roof too which has great views over the beach and Christ the redeemer. Breakfast is good, nice selection. Staff were friendly and helpful and some spoke very good English. There are only 2 lifts and sometimes you waited a while for one. Would recommend and would stay here again.

A piscina pode ser melhorada na higienização. Fomos informados que poderiamos retirar cadeiras de praia ,as mesmas não estávam em boas condições de uso, pode ser melhoradas. Pecebermos que um dos elevadores está com bastante trepidações, pode ser feito manutenção preventiva .

Fui em grupo de amigos e todos nos adoramos o Hotel, Excelente vista da piscina, moça que fazia a limpeza dos quartos muito caprichosa e simpática, café da manha muito bom, localização perfeita, só atravessar a rua e ja esta na praia de copacabana , com tudo perto. Unica observação é sobre a falta de toalhas na piscina, varias vezes solicitamos e não tinha toalhas, o atendimento do pessoal da piscina tambem poderia ser melhor. Mas no geral adoramos o hotel astoria e com certeza iremos retornar.

Freundliches Personal, Zimmer war zweckmäßig, Blick auf den Hinterhof. Gute Aussicht von der Poolterasse. Der Pool selber sehr klein. Frühstückstücksbuffet war gut.

Quarto confortável, mas a limpeza era feita de forma muito superficial, no primeiro dia nem tiraram a coberta que caiu no chão, só quando solicitado na recepção a limpeza foi feita de forma adequada. O café da manhã é bom, porém eles demoram muito a repor, inclusive pratos e talheres, tive que esperar muito.

O hotel tem uma localização excelente, e o preço reflete isso apenas. O quarto é espaçoso, mas a cama muito desconfortável, para casal juntaram 2 camas de solteiro e fica péssimo para dormir, pois fica um buraco no meio da cama. Pelo nível do hotel esperava um pouco mais . Café da manhã tb achei fraco em vista do lugar.

A cama de casal do quarto não era de casal . Adquirido um quarto com cama de casal e uma de solteiro . Juntaram duas camas de solteiro e fizeram uma de casal . Ficou péssimo , já que a cama deslizava toda hora e ficou um vão no meio da cama . Foram cinco dias terríveis

O grande destaque dessa hospedagem é a limpeza do hotel. Tudo perfeito. O ponto negativo ficou por conta do barulho que o elevador de serviço fazia durante a madrugada, pois esse equipamento pode ser utilizado por hóspedes e quando a porta abria e fechava o barulho incomodava muito . Talvez tive azar em pegar o quarto 509. Só por esse motivo não consigo dar nota melhor para minha hospedagem.

O grande destaque dessa hospedagem é a limpeza do hotel. Tudo perfeito. This was by far the worst and most expensive hotel of our trip. During check in we were given a key into an occupied room startling and upsetting the people sleeping there. An extremely embarrassing situation. The staff would do as little as possible for you, advising you how difficult things are unless you buy your packages from them, room was small and old. Shower had the door installed swinging to the inside of the very tiny shower and into to shower controls making it impossible to adjust temperature without getting you cold or hot wet because you had to position yourself in front of the shower. Ac unit was weak and faulty. Elevators stopped working. Food was left on the floor outside the rooms for 2 days and staff would just leave it there until we reported it. In summary, it was a complete mess and bad experience. All other hotels we stayed even one day ne block from the Astoria was Les expensive and FAR superior. I recommend AVOID At ALL COST.

I would have made an error on my reservation, reached out to them, however didn’t get a respond until the day before I was leaving, which mean I would have already got there and figure it out. I also paid $87R a night to add the second person to my room, Paid the total up on arrival when I was checking out I was asked to pay it again, I had to explain to the person that that was already paid, so I’m not sure what happen there (Communication again), but I didn’t pay that. I asked for an iron because I was going on a tour and was running late, the gentleman at the front desk said the iron was coming up, A lady showed up at the door however and asked me for the cloths, I asked her for the iron, she said she’ll take care of it, I paid $50R for that service, wasn’t happy about that but I’m going to just leave it as a misunderstanding with communication… The staff seem friendly and helpful, the few that I came in contact with. So apart from the misunderstanding it wasn’t a bad place to stay. Now that I know what to respect I will stay there again. Felt safe and it was well kept, clean… I would say just make sure you understand, what’s been offered and communication is clear and you’ll be good.

Vi har bott några gånger förut på Astoria Palace Hotel. Det var inte trevligt för vi fick nyckel till ett rum som var upptaget. Vi fick går tillsammans med Concierge som hjälpte oss med väskorna. We were given a standard room on 1st floor despite a luxury room with sea view reservation. We were told we will be transferred once a higher floor room becomes available. Next day after lunch, we had to follow up and finally got the room we paid for. So we lost out for 1 and 1/2 days and no apologies. It’s like we should be thankful we even got transferred!

I found the hotel and its staff good to work with and be at. The only bit of challenge was getting to it. I used Uber quite a bit and I had one cancel on me, because, I think, it is a bit of a challenge to reach it because of how the nearby roads all seem to travel the same direction - so this adds to extra planning for drivers to get to the hotel.

Some of the staff members were very kind while others seemed annoyed to have guess who didnt speak the Language. The area was extremely unsafe filled with homeless people and the smell was terrible. We almost got robbed at the beach and were told we had to leave as we were being targettted to be robbed by many at the beach. Will not come back or recommend.

Right on the beach and with the Copocabana nightlife just accros the road. We had a room at the back so very quiet. Rooftop pool was really good on a hot day. Special mention for the staff, particularly the porters, they were especially helpful at all hours.

Quarto confortável, mas a limpeza era feita de forma muito superficial, no primeiro dia nem tiraram a coberta que caiu no chão, só quando solicitado na recepção a limpeza foi feita de forma adequada. O café da manhã é bom, porém eles demoram muito a repor, inclusive pratos e talheres, tive que esperar muito.

Excellent property for the price-point! Perfect location on Copacabana, felt safe, extremely well kept, great service, friendly staff, impeccable clean! Reached out a lot of hotels before I chose this one, and am certain I made the right choice! Many here are run down, but not this one, it might be a little bit older but they've kept it up perfectly. Breakfast was above average, hot tub wasn't hot, but who needs a hot tub when it's 85°? AC worked perfect, rooms were big, bed was comfortable, what more could you ask for?

Breakfast was limiteda nd commonly items were 'finished' before the end of the breakfast service. Nutritionaly very bad, all sweet stuff, I had to buy seperate breakfast. Lots around the hotel tired if not broken and seemingly no effort or concern to put them right. The room smelt of damp and looked very tired. Towels were small and threadbear. The wifi was absolutely dire and had to get onto. The cost was very high and I think this refelects the location on the beachfront of the Copacobana that said it is advertised as a four star and I would say it would barely rate as a three star compared to hotels I have used previously.

We were assigned to room 106, which had 3 beds and was an accessible room with a 'window' that doesn’t really open nor has any view. The furniture was dirty, amenities were very minimal, and the towels, bed, sheets, and pillows were lacking comfort. The only thing going for this hotel is their rooftop views and breakfast. Bring your money somewhere else—we did and checked into another hotel after one night at Astoria Palace.
