Quarto com poeira embaixo das camas, o ar condicionado do quarto horrível, barulhento, ligava e desligava o motor a madrugada inteira! Café da manhã muito bom. We arrived early after a 12-hour flight and were advised to return at 2pm for check-in. After going out for a walk and lunch, we came back at the requested time only to find that our room was still not ready, and we had to wait another hour. The room allocated to us was unfortunately next to the cleaners’ storage, which made it very noisy in the early mornings with constant banging doors. To make matters worse, we experienced insects in the room. One morning, I woke up to find the shower full of them. I reported this to reception (with photos), but nothing was done, and I had to remove them myself just to take a shower. I also felt that the reception staff were careless and not very friendly, which was disappointing. Breakfast was acceptable but with limited selection, and the pool was both small and very cold. The only positives were the hotel’s location, as well as the professionalism of the door staff and waiters. Overall, this was not the experience I expected, and I would not return.

This hotel is definitely not worth the price. The room was not comfortable at all, with bed linens that were dingy and worn out. The AC in room 930 was leaking water and making a terrible noise. The wood laminate flooring was scuffed and looked dirty, and there wasn't even a rug by the bed. Service was also a major letdown. On one of the days, our room wasn't cleaned; we returned at 4 PM and had to go downstairs to ask for fresh towels because we had already discarded ours. At breakfast, we had to wait for a table, and the orange juice was from a carton, not fresh. A few more things to note: The Pool: It is tiny—it fits maybe 6 people at most. The Entrance: It is actually not on Avenida Atlântica, which is misleading. Honestly, at this price point, you are better offstaying at an Ibis. Rio has better options at this price point and location (Windsor California and Porto Bay for example).

The breakfast room is too small for such a large hotel and the check in/out desk and area should be bigger as it fills up with people checking in/out or making inquiries (it gets a little chaotic). These are minor things that maybe they can improve. I would stay here again. We had a view of the sea but part of the beach front tower of the hotel blocked the view plus our tower was too far from the beach so the ocean view didn’t matter. Everything worked in the room including hot water (well labeled!) and pressure.

The hotel is located I. A beautiful part of town. Tons of restaurants to choose from and right near the beach. The breakfast is amazing! The gym has a great view but most importantly was the helpfulness of the staff and how positive they always were. Bad point. The internet is horrible, awful wifi. I had to check out and move hotels to work because the internet wasn’t good enough to have calls.

Check-in was a disaster. Online checkin doesn’t mean you don’t have to stand in a line forever! They start queuing in the HOT lobby at 1:30pm and even being in line at 1:50, WE didn’t get out last room until after 5:30pm. We missed our PAID tour. They offer you a meal voucher for their less-than-satisfactory restaurant as compensation for waiting. If you’ve had a very long flight and are looking forward to a restful stay, the checking ordeal is probably not for you. Unless maybe you know someone and they bring your check in documents to you as you sit in a recliner in the lobby—while the rest of us hot, thirsty travelers look on. Otherwise our stay was nice. Need more shade umbrellas in the upstairs balcony/bar/pool area.

Lovely property for the price and right opposite Copacabana beach. Two observations would be, it took about 30 minutes to check in, and it was a slow checkout process also. Speeding this process up would mean the venue would be perfect. Breakfast had a lot of variety but during busy times plates and cups had run out. Staff were very friendly and accommodating!

The welcome and helpfulness of the staff is first class. They never gave the impression that a request is too much bother. We had requests for an extra chair and hangers and this was no problem, both provided promptly - as was the iron and a room clean. We had a situation with a wallet left in a taxi and the staff were empathetic, doing all they could to help locate the driver...and enquiring the following day as to whether it was found. The facilites are well maintained and the common areas execeptional in cleanliness and tidyness. I would recommend without hesitation

Amazing hotel, great location but the reception staff were not good. They were completely miserable and unfriendly or willing to help on every single interaction. It was the most unwelcome I had ever felt upon checking in and that continued through every single time I had to speak to them. Such a shame. Being a three minute walk to the beach in one direction, and a two minute walk to stores, groceries, pharmacies, etc in the other direction was ideal. When on the beach, one has no idea of being close to anything else. Staff was particularly helpful, friendly and very kind. Staff and location were the big things. Of course it was clean. It is not a luxury hotel in the sense I think of luxury hotel...but it had all the amenities of a luxury hotel at normal-people rates.

It's a nice hotel, with a great breakfast, good Wi-Fi, comfortable bed and pillows. It's close to many nice restaurants, some of them authentic Brazilian . The room is very spacious, and the price is moderated. I had intention to extend my stay for more three days, and that would be with my husband coming form US, however, I never got the price and if I could stay in the same room. Then , I moved to another nice hotel.

Check-in is painfully slow (very long line)- but Bruno Barroso went above and beyond to help me with all my issues. He went above and beyond. Breakfast is amazing - great coffee - good choices and I love the make your own fresh juice. Bed is comfy and the shower was hot and strong. Made me happy. Rooms are a little small depending on what you book. Very clean. Big criticism- the air freshener they PUMP into the lobby is horrid and way too strong. I really feel like I was being gassed and them employees probably shouldn’t be subjected to that.

Lovely property for the price and right opposite Copacabana beach. Two observations would be, it took about 30 minutes to check in, and it was a slow checkout process also. Speeding this process up would mean the venue would be perfect. Breakfast had a lot of variety but during busy times plates and cups had run out. Staff were very friendly and accommodating!

The hotel was great. The only downside for me was the small clunky lifts and the poor service at lunch time in the main restaurant.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, lo único que me gustaría mencionar es que la comida del desayuno puede mejorar ya que he estado en varios Mercure le doy 4/5 el sabor puede mejorar, al igual que la comida del room service, el hotel es un lugar muy agradable y las atenciones del personal me parecieron buenas en especial (manuel el maletero y la chica que prepara omellettes y tapiocas) a demás de que tuve Early check in lo cual agradezco mucho, definitivamente si regreso
