★★★★☆ We stayed here last night and overall had a good experience. The hotel was clean, well kept, and had a nice atmosphere. Staff were pleasant and everything ran smoothly during our stay. The rooms are quite small and the hallways are very narrow, so it can feel a bit tight, especially if you have luggage. That would be my only real downside. On the positive side, the pool was very warm — honestly warmer than most hotels we’ve stayed at, which was a great bonus. For the price, it was definitely worth it. Overall, a solid stay and good value.

The room towels were clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff were quite polite and helpful and smiling. On the otherside, The shower was not hot enough sometimes. Going up and down with elevator is impossible at times. I had to take stairs down from the 7th floor, in order not to miss my Uber. Breakfast Area was very crowded, I had to stand for 15 min. to have my breakfast.

The stay was fine but the hotel wouldn't honour a discounted parking rate that was advertised for my booking on Expedia and the swimming pool was under renovation. I just wish that hotels were more transparent about these things because I booked that hotel to get the discount and pool

The room was fine and clean. The check in was very slow. The parking information was was so bad , that we parked in the wrong garage. The information about parking should be more specific. Now that I know this I will probably stay the again as the location is perfect for me.

Clean room. Front desk staff were friendly. The gym was not available due to renovations but they had made alternat le arrangements that worked well.

Great location, everything you need is within a block. Clean hotel, very nice pool, comfy beds. Great options for breakfast as well.

Small rooms. Not a great location. Parking is difficult unless you can fit in garage height of 5ft 7 inches. Elevators are very small and slow BUT it is clean and is more affordable than many properties.

Sadly during my stay the hotel suffered a 24hr power failure although I must applaud the staff for their good humour throughout but it was of course an inconvenience especially as the hot water issue lasted two mornings in total. The hotel did provide me with complementary breakfast as a result which was gratefully received on my part. I would still potentially return but of course the stay was not ideal. The gym is under renovation but there is an option to use an excellent gym next door (with no pool).

I stayed for one night and the hotel was great! Room was clean, couldn't hear other guests, pool area was completely empty when I went in the evening, and even though the fitness center is currently closed for renovations, I was given a pass to the Mattamy Athletic Center next door which was also great. Would stay here again!

I am always impressed by the staff here. They are pleasant and friendly enough to have a little chat with, which is so very nice. The breakfast is amazing and the breakfast room staff are attentive. Although the rooms with double beds are small, the room is comfortable and clean! Room always smells fresh and the housekeeping staff are cheerful. They do such a nice job tidying and straightening. Check in staff and baggage hold is convenient and staff are helpful. We were able to check in early which we were thankful for travelling with children who needed a rest. We could then arrange our things/baggage and head out to enjoy our afternoon without worrying about heading back to get situated late. I do think that 4:00 is rather late for check in ( although I know many hotels also have this time). The location is convenient and subway is near. It is our choice of places to stay when we visit.

Terrible experience. Room was filthy. Sheets were stained. Sofa bed was full of food crumbs. Floor was sticky. Room smelled like multipurpose disinfectant, but hard to tolerate intensity. I will never go back to this hotel.

Average experience, cleaniliness was poor and maintained looks poor too. The body lotion was expired and smelled too bad because they forgot to replace it. room was very tight. Rugs in this hotel are also very old and dirty.

I was supposed to get a parking credit but do not. Both Hotels.com and the hotel went back and forth blaming each other for this error. And I ended up not getting a resolution despite spending 45 minutes of my time off on this issue. The hotel easily could have offered me the credit or some other compensation, given that I am an IHG member and they’re part of a company with a 22.6 billion dollar networth. I literally only chose this hotel because of the parking credit. I would have stayed elsewhere or taken the GO train if this was going to be the case. The hotel gym was not operational and while they give you a gym credit, there was a snowstorm while we were there and we were not going to walk through it to go utilize the gym. Both my partner and I are avid gym goers and we were looking forward to this amenity. As well, there were broken pieces all over the room. The shampoo and conditioner holder fell while I was showering, and the bottles fell on my feet. We were also staying in a king suite and we’re supposed to have bath robes in the room, when I discovered that we did when we went to utilize the pool, I attempted to call down multiple times and did not receive any response from the front desk. We never got our robes. I told them this when I checked out and while I did get an apology, I also got the excuse that they were very busy. Once again, they did nothing to make up for this inconvenience. Our room also had multiple long black hairs on most of the linens.

I LOVE the staff here & usually have an amazing experience. I stay here multiple times a year, the majority of the times i visit Toronto. Check in was amazing, staff were accommodating and friendly. But when I got to my room it appeared the bathroom had not been cleaned. There were smears from a cloth on the counters yet the sink had toothpaste residue & hair. Even worse, the toilet had poop splatter on the seat!! Enough that had to be wiped off. We were in a rush to a sporting event so we have only spent 5 minutes in this room & I’m very disappointed!!! Already not looking forward to my arrival back tonight & inspect the rest.

Everything was perfect. Very well maintained and very clean

I gave a 5STAR review because the hotel was spotless, the checkin and housekeeping staff were friendly and seem to appreciate my business, and the location was superb.

Good hotel, great proximity. Only negative was there was a used plastic cup on my bedside floor. It was not ours.

Nice clean room, but so tiny. The pool was lovely

The lower floors are very noisy. The street car rattles the room. The city facing window was cracked, water didn’t get hot for a long time in the shower, and paint was chipping off the bathroom door frame. I was very disappointed

Bathroom was badly designed and water pressure in the shower non existent. You couldn't get into the shower and switch it on without getting a blast of cold water The room itself was clean and comfortable but noisy. Every tram and car could be heard on the street outside my window

All ok except the noise from the hvac so so loud that I couldn’t sleep. And sleep is the point. Also, couldn’t get temp in room below 74F. Too hot to sleep.

the room was small and dated. The bathroom could barely fit one person at a time. We waited 30 mins to check in.

Room is very small for 3 pax. Corridor is narrow. Front desk staff provided the incorrect wifi password. Sound proofing not very good. I stay 2nd floor and can hear the tram and metro moving There are shops and restaurants nearby. Very convenient

Booked the executive room, 1 king bed. At check in, the receptionist forgot to give me breakfast coupons and called after 10pm to ask if he gave them to me. Woke me up! I ended up exchanging the room, as the one provided was a corner room, with no bathrobe and nothing that was promised for the price of an executive room. The room exchanged did not have the bathrobe and slippers either. On check out, I was overcharged by paying their regular rate, instead of the Expedia promotion price. This was the second time it happened at this hotel. Overall experience was ok, but I would expect more attention to details when charging so much per night.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful Yohannes in particular was so helpful and made our stay so wonderful Went out if his way to support us and we saw him be just as thoughtful and gracious to others

Was ok overall. It is perfect for a short stay in Toronto, and the location is great. Rooms were clean. The service received at check-in however was very disappointing. The women was rude and condescending, and it is not the type of experience you want to have after a long travel day. We felt uncomfortable to ask for anything further during our stay because of how she treated us. It is a shame the experience was ruined by this one staff member, because other staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful.

Very slow, 4 or 5 people before me, 2 people doing check in took close to 40 min to be checked in. Not overly pleasant staff. Went back to get parking credits as wasn't offered at check in, didn't even ask if I was parking a vehicle, it is paid tickefed parking garage. However the staff was much more pleasant, someone else was asking about parking at the time amd they mentioned it could even be extended for later checkout of the parking garage the next day.

Great location , was able to be on top floor which is quiet area which we love that is an option. Central and close to Dundas square and Eaton centre.. great and friendly staff too

Felt a little unsafe.

Good location, no fault of the hotel but the sirens outside never stop. Neighbouring doors are loud, bathroom had a bit of a smell.

Great stay. Close to College station and walkable to everywhere downtown

The location is prime (only a few steps from College Station), staff welcoming and supportive, and the room was clean and spacious.

Great location and very easy to access major attractions in DT Toronto. Room was on the smaller side but very clean, comfortable and recently renovated. Located directly beside the old Maple Leaf Gardens. Breakfast was good and included in our stay. Good selection of hot and fresh options. Elevators were a bit of an issue as they were very slow and often full which meant a bit of a wait to be able to get on. Other concern was walking the gauntlet of smokers located directly outside the front doors. Overall, it was a great choice for us and would definitely stay again when we are in the city. Go Jays go!

Staff were amazing. The breakfast was very nice and had a large variety. I would recommend for sure. Only con was the hot tub in the photos was no longer there and the pool was a little run down. Aside from that a great experience.

The breakfast was good, with standard options like fruit, bread, eggs, but also yogurt, cereal, juice, and pastries. However, it was the same thing every day without many options for each item, so I can't say it was excellent. Some employees were not very friendly, while others were okay. The bed was too soft for my taste; if I sat on the edge, I would slide off. It wasn't a big issue, though. Linen was good, pillows too. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space for clothes and useful furniture. The location was great, close to a subway station, but I could also walk to several places. The shampoo and conditioner were from Dove, which is good quality, and they also provided body moisturizer, which was a plus. I was impressed by how quickly they canceled/reimbursed the holding fee on my credit card—that was really something! I recommend staying here!"

Room was very clean. The bed and pillows were amazing. The 30 Carlton restaurant food was delicious.

For me, the included breakfast bacon and sausages were way too salty. Sausages also lacked flavor. Eggs & coffee were good as was fruit and cereal. Excellent service and friendly staff. Room was perfect, clean and comfortable, great shower. I'd stay at this hotel again.

Good breakfast, great location

This was a quick overnight stay for which I had no particular expectations. But it was just fine: the room was small but well laid out, pillows and mattress were nice, good hot water and water pressure in the shower and a surprisingly good dinner in the restaurant, too.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, we were able to check in early and had a great stay. The housekeeping lady on floor 9 was so sweet (October 28-October 31), we also went for quick drinks at the bar in the lobby and the bartender there was great to us as well before the hockey game my Dad and I went to. I would definitely consider booking here again on my next trip to Toronto!
