This was my WORST Experience i ever had with hotel. My family and i drove 10 hours to Pittsburgh for the Steelers vs Cowboys game. When we pulled up our hearts dropped immediately. The property was in a bad area that looked very creepy. The hotel looked like an abandon building. And when i got inside the place looked to be under construction but no workers in site. We had to walk up 2 sets of deep old stairs just to check in. I immediately alert the clerk to how the pics on Expedia.com was misleading she apologized but said she couldn't refund me. None of the 20 rooms was a available (20 was the maximum amount of rooms)we waited until the desk clerk wipe the room down. She stated everything in the room was NEW. Big lie! nothing was new but the sheets with the crease. Tub old and dirty, cealing a mess with spots. This place is a dump we had to park in an abandon lot accross from hotel bc their parking garage doesn't work. We felt Very unsafe i had to apologize over and over to my husband and son bc i was miskead by Expedia website. We spent so much money bc we tried to stay away from the hotel until bed time. Sunday Pittsburgh steelers vs Cowboys game. Only upside we didnt get robbed and noone broke in our vehicle.

Had no elevator service walking up the stairs got Old

Was a decent, cheaper hotel. I will stay there again if im back in Pittsburgh. Just need to fix the pool and the elevator

I was horrified to learn that there wasn’t a working elevator. The rooms are a disaster.

The elevator was not working. TV was only U Tube, no good instruction on how to best use it {First time for me]. The soap bars were almost useless, no wash cloths, service only every 3rd day. no real security at night the garage was open as was the main entrance - no key required. The lobby, if that the picture to the left looks nothing like the real thing. I had no remote in the room, had to ask for one. Admittedly, I was looking for a bargin but thee Imnn- Pittsburgh was no bargin.

Upon arriving, the parking garage was unavailable. The check in counter was on the 2nd floor and the elevator was not working. we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor because the rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor were being renovated, which meant we had to carry our luggage 4 flights of stairs to our room. we were never told the elevator wasn't working. My wife is handicapped and was inconvenienced to no end. I had to park my car across the way in a gravel lot which thankfully didn't cause a flat tire with all the debris there. It was a horrible experience and I would like a refund for the inconvenience we were put through. The room was also a disgrace. The carpeting was soiled as well as the walls. there was rust like stains all over the walls and carpet. Horrible experience!

Do not stay here. Looks like a crack house. They have photos of an underground garage, but the garage isn’t functional. The elevator doesn’t work. The rooms look like a hostage room. I asked for a refund, they told me to go thru the app but they refused to release the funds. STAY AWAY!

This hotel was shady. Has one story parking garage that’s not lit up. You cannot find your way to “front desk”. I was opening doors trying to find entrance and saw their laundry room and water main closet. As soon as we checked in, they shut the lights out and never saw anyone again. Towels were paper thin and big enough for a toddler. Lotion on bathroom counter was half used. Do not recommend. Safe was in room sitting on a brick.

The stairwells were dirty and the railings sticky The ice machine was out of order for the entire visit The Parking garage under the hotel was not open the entire visit forcing us to park across the street in a GRAVEL PARKING LOT. The Towels and Wash cloths were akin to sand paper Very Rough and stained, I tried to stop by the front desk a few times but NO ONE Was ever there, even during there posted hours While the in room refrigerator worked it was so loud I was forced to unplug it to get a good nights sleep There we 2 TINY Bars of Soap and 2 Ketchup sized packet of Shampoo hard to shower with. BUT was made easier because it took at least 15 Minutes to get LUKE WARM WATER. I stayed at this place because it was close to my elderly father who had just come out of the hospital and i wanted to be close to him in case an emergency came up, Thank G-D it did not. I could tell you about the ants running onto my bed monday night finally forcing me to leave and drive back home at 2AM but I am sure this is enough for you to digest. I will be happy to elaborate on a phone call. As a leader in online Hotel reservations i think you bear some responsibility, A property in such disrepair should not be available on you site. I would like a FULL REFUND 359.40 for this horrific experience please consider my request

Blood stains, bad smells, dirty towels

Parking was good and safe. Room was clean but liner was ripped, towels was small and soap was tiny but overall price was great,near everything you need. Tv service was ok. Staff was on hand and very helpful. I was very satified with my stay. Thank you i will be spreading the word.

The hotel is old, however, it is clean. And for me clean is key. We enjoyed our stay. If we are ever in Pittsburgh again, we definitely will check it out again.

Saw a large bug on the wall, bed had a stain on the sheets, holes inside top blanket like old cigarette burns. People were talking in the hall at 5am and it was all I could hear. I'll pay more next time I visit Pittsburg.

It took me a minute to find the check in desk when i arrived, once i found it it took an additional extra few minutes because it seemed like the ladies werent sure how to work their system. I then get to my room which looked clean until i got into the bathroom and found that it looked like somebody had showered in there several hours before i checked in. Clean towels on the side of the tub but there was a used bar of soap still in the shower, hair in the shower, and dirty towel with makeup on it hanging on the back of the door. Really wouldve liked a shower after standing 2 and a half hours in the rain then attending a 4 hour concert.

Parking is just a gravel lot, no pavement, no clear parking spots. We did have a couple of bugs in our room, a house centipede and a stink bug. The carpet was just laid down over the old floor, not secured properly. Beds were uncomfortable and had stains on the bedspreads. TV remote didn’t work properly. Bathroom door was difficult to shut and there were stains on the door and walls. The staff was nice enough but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Crack hotel. However, the people who worked there were great. The woman who eventually checked me in was very nice. But it was sketchy trying to figure out how and who to check in with. Really nice guy helped me with the TV. I think someone new bought the property because I had to make phone calls to different phone numbers to figure things out. Bottom line, it is a crack hotel. It reaks of crack and it's BEYOND filthy. Shower was terrible. There was a shoe print on my pillow. Couldn't sleep at all. I did reserve the day of but I didn't expect that. The in staff was nice but its still a crack hotel. Plan ahead so you don't end up there.

Everything was great. Super quiet, relaxing and surprisingly beautiful despite being older.

It’s ok for the price if you’re just looking for a room to crash. It’s more for people that want an extended stay.

It gets the job done fine for the price and is in a good location. One issue is sound -- the walls are not sound proof at all and from my experience, neighbors are not particularly "quiet" after 10pm here. I had to run the fan in my room continuously to help block out noise.

This inn has the basics covered. It is nothing fancy, and perfect for those of us who want to travel but can't or don't want to pay the big bucks for a city stay. It is what you might describe as "adequate" and those expecting luxury should go elsewhere and pay three times as much. The modest price allows people who aren't loaded to visit Pittsburgh. It's an affordable, safe, good enough option. The people who work here are courteous, helpful, and welcoming. I was thankful to have the Inn and will stay here again if life brings me back to Pittsburgh.

It was very comfortable

Chose not to even stay here because it looked so sketchy and then had to wrestle with rude staff for like 2 hours on the phone because they wanted to charge FULL PRICE when I wasn't even staying there. Will never book again, the whole place had the worst vibes.

If you’re looking for luxury then don’t go here. If you’re looking for an affordable place with a lady at the front desk that’ll help you with anything you need then this is the one.

There are very good things to say about my room and about the staff. The technical maintenance was above average. Power strips mounted to the walls, not just one or a few outlets, were a nice touch that made things easier. And people were eager to help. Unfortunately, when I tried to stop back at 2:00pm on Saturday, my room key had stopped working, and no one was on hand to let me in. It was an hour until I reached someone on the phone. That person told me he was heading over, but was 25 minutes away. And then he never showed up. It was two other people, after 45 minutes, who showed up. So I lost and hour and 45 minutes, during a short visit. I know it was that long because the times are in my phone logs. A room key can stop working anywhere. But the listing for this hotel claims that the desk is staffed from 8:00am to 8:00pm, with staff reachable at other times with a phone call. In reality, the hotel gets left entirely unattended for hours at a time while staff leave to do other work. The phone is not answered reliably during those times. And while some of that work is in the immediate neighborhood, I was told, some of it is in other parts of the city. If you're not worried about potentially getting locked out for hours, or can wait if some other problem comes up, this hotel could be comfortable for you, as it was for me before this happened. But if it's important to you that timely help be available should a need arise, this would not be the place for you.

No front desk, no staff. Room smells bad. I had to call a number to find my room key.

Close to activities

Let me start by saying my standards are pretty low. I booked this hell hole based on its location. I received a text prior to check in indicating the room key was located in a small safe in the unstaffed “lobby” in which the code was provided. I should have cut and run at that moment. When we got there, I looked at my buddy and said, “Nope; no way.” The room was a cross between a homeless shelter and your local county jail, both of which I’m familiar with through work. I already know I will have to fight tooth and nail to get a refund. There is a certain percentage of reviews that are authored by the lunatic fringe; this is not one of them.

I checked in but left in couple of hours , stayed in different hotel, IMO I dont feel safe to spend the night
