Great location. Had a room w a terrace, which was an oasis in the city. It was comfortable and bright, and even had a kitchenette (didn’t use). The hotel is within a commercial/residential building. You need to walk up a small flight of stairs to get to a tiny elevator. It was ok for me but might not be for everyone.

The patio was wonderful, they take great care of the plants on the balcony and it is a beautiful place to enjoy a glass of wine after a busy day of sight seeing. Staff was wonderful, the entrance was a little strange, but it was kind of fun

Nice hotel. Nice rooms. Good breakfast. It is a little hard to find and you must be able to climb stairs to get to small elevator.

We had a lovely, lift type room that was very spacious and it was well placed for the centre of Milan. However, the access through a strange little door into an unwelcoming lobby then up two flights isn’t stairs or an extremely small lift was very off putting. The staff weren’t particularly helpful either! This was not one for us

Very good location at a second floor level of an old palace. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, recommending restaurants and booking a taxi to the airport. The room was very nicely arranged in a modern arrangement with good toilet and shower.

The room was very comfortable and large. A very good breakfast. Location was walkable to sites. There are two flights of stairs to the reception area which could be an issue if someone has mobility constraints. Would definitely recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay at Antica Locanda. The staff were so very warm and friendly, and helped us when ever needed. The rooms are unique, modern, and clean and comfortable. This is the perfect Milan location for walking to the Duomo, the castle and museums. We will stay again.

Did not receive the room that we booked! I specifically chose this hotel because it had a terrace and I booked a terrace room accordingly, but when we checked in and were shown to our room no terrace. I pointed this out to the clerk and was told there was "a problem with the terrace and that this room was a free upgrade". I reiterated again that I only chose this hotel because of the terrace and that I was not happy with the room, again I was told that there was a problem with the terrace that they couldn't fix due to lack of help and that this was "a free upgrade", as our car was parked on the street and we needed to move it and return it to the rental car company and we were tired from driving I didn't argue further. The next morning after a little investigating we found out that there was nothing wrong with the terrace and that all the terrace rooms were booked. When we expressed our displeasure to the morning desk clerk and pressed him on the matter we were told that only our room had a "problem with the bathroom"! We were never offered an apology and were lied to. I must add that my husband is native Italian and speaks fluently so language wasn't an issue. The sofa in our room was stained, the hotel was very hard to find because it isn't marked at all. We had to go into the hotels on either side of it (that did have signage to inquire) We stayed in 7 different hotels on our travels through Germany and Italy and this is the only one we wouldn't return to or recommend.

Everyone was courteous, helpful and friendly. The location was also perfect to a wide range of walking. The only suggestion I have would be to create a raise for the entry of the shower so the water doesn't leak under the shower door. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff.

Hotel bien situé, central et facile d’accès en métro et tram. Grande chambre, qui donne sur la rue. Confortable mais sdb pas super. Pdj moyen. La réceptionniste nous a donné de mauvaises informations sur les musées et sur le tram.

We absolutely loved this hotel! Staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is amazing. The room was spacious and the AC worked great. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, lots of options.

Cannot say enough great things about this unique hotel. Wonderful spacious room with great views. Amazing walkable location to duomo and local dining. Great staff and breakfast. Thoroughly recommended. One tip for the management team though - your ferns in the window boxes obscure the view from the windows, might be time to trim them down or replace them with smaller ones !

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel however is more like various rooms in an apartment building so the staff has no control over the neighboring apartments. We had to move rooms the first evening because there was a huge party in an apartment next door to our room (the terrace room on the 3rd floor). We moved to a room next to the kitchen adjoining the lobby which was quieter but again adjoining the kitchen and lobby. They were nice enough to move us but the whole situation was unfortunate. I’ve stayed in the area many times but my previous hotel closed because the owner retired. As much as I don’t like writing bad reviews and as accommodating as the staff was, I wouldn’t recommend staying here regrettably.

Bra läge på hotellet verkligen mitt i stan. Nästan familj känsla med personalen. Blandat bostäder och hotellrum i huset drar ner på helhetsupplevelsen. Väldigt lyhört upplevde det som att grannarna hade fest men det låg inte inom hotellets kontroll.

The room was spacious and clean. Staff were really nice and helpful from check in to check out. The area is very central. One thing I didn’t like was that I can hear the person in the unit upstairs walking around at 5am.

This was a lovely place to stay for our four night visit to Milan. It was within walking distance to the major parts of the city. The room was very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, and the breakfasts were very satisfying, including the freshly baked cakes that added a homey touch.

Absolutely love, love this place!! Incredible location with 5 minute walks to the Duomo, alla Scala, Sforza Castle, and Pinacoteca di Brera. I dare you to find a sweeter and more caring staff. Friendly and always willing to answer any of our questions and concerns. P.S. Their breakfast and attention to detail is fabulous.

I specifically chose this hotel because it had a terrace and I booked a terrace room accordingly, but when we checked in and were shown to our room no terrace. I pointed this out to the clerk and was told there was "a problem with the terrace and that this room was a free upgrade". I reiterated again that I only chose this hotel because of the terrace and that I was not happy with the room, again I was told that there was a problem with the terrace that they couldn't fix due to lack of help and that this was "a free upgrade", as our car was parked on the street and we needed to move it and return it to the rental car company and we were tired from driving I didn't argue further. The next morning after a little investigating we found out that there was nothing wrong with the terrace and that all the terrace rooms were booked. When we expressed our displeasure to the morning desk clerk and pressed him on the matter we were told that only our room had a "problem with the bathroom"! We were never offered an apology and were lied to. I must add that my husband is native Italian and speaks fluently so language wasn't an issue. The sofa in our room was stained, the hotel was very hard to find because it isn't marked at all. We had to go into the hotels on either side of it (that did have signage to inquire) We stayed in 7 different hotels on our travels through Germany and Italy and this is the only one we wouldn't return to or recommend.

Everyone was courteous, helpful and friendly. The location was also perfect to a wide range of walking. The only suggestion I have would be to create a raise for the entry of the shower so the water doesn't leak under the shower door. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff.

We had a lovely, lift type room that was very spacious and it was well placed for the centre of Milan. However, the access through a strange little door into an unwelcoming lobby then up two flights isn’t stairs or an extremely small lift was very off putting. The staff weren’t particularly helpful either! This was not one for us

Cannot say enough great things about this unique hotel. Wonderful spacious room with great views. Amazing walkable location to duomo and local dining. Great staff and breakfast. Thoroughly recommended. One tip for the management team though - your ferns in the window boxes obscure the view from the windows, might be time to trim them down or replace them with smaller ones !

This was a lovely place to stay for our four night visit to Milan. It was within walking distance to the major parts of the city. The room was very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, and the breakfasts were very satisfying, including the freshly baked cakes that added a homey touch.

Absolutely love, love this place!! Incredible location with 5 minute walks to the Duomo, alla Scala, Sforza Castle, and Pinacoteca di Brera. I dare you to find a sweeter and more caring staff. Friendly and always willing to answer any of our questions and concerns. P.S. Their breakfast and attention to detail is fabulous.

When we were dropped off at the hotel by our driver I was befuddled- there was no entrance- I finally found a little sign with the name of the hotel. The entrance was a garage door opening in an area that looked like it used to be for garbage storage. I finally realized there was a bell to ring. Once I did, an employee showed up and proceeded, without explanation, to grab only one of our baggage sets and ran into the garage and told us to walk up the steps and leave our luggage in this garage area - again, no explanation. I do not separate from my luggage easily- particularly under these circumstances - no hospitality at all. He finally told us the the elevator is only big enough for one set of luggage ( this was all carry on luggage) and one person. Needless to say - this did not get our stay off to a good start. The first room he brought us to was unacceptable - in the back of the hotel, not very clean and a 3rd story walk up. Fortunately they did have another room available on the 2nd floor in front-the safe did not work, there was no duvet cover, only a sheet on the bed- I can’t sleep without some weight on me- I placed 2 towels over me for weight just get to sleep- it was the most unpleasant hotel room in years - mainly due to the attitude of the help - they were not there to create a good experience- they were just selling a room. Location was good.
