I loved the kindness and friendliness of the staff and safety of the building. Could have used an extra mirror in the room as 4 people and one bathroom

Great place to stay, safe, clean, easy to walk everywhere. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Beds were firm… be warned. :)

Vi har virkelig nydt vores ophold. Meget hyggelig lille guest house i ‘den antikke stil’. Finurlig og fin og med meget søde værter. Morgenmad er basic, men der er hvad man har brug for til at starte dagen. Ligger perfekt lige ved floden og få skridt fra Navona pladsen. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. We could not have felt less-welcome at this hotel. When our flight via London was delayed, we received a phone call from the hotel informing us that if we weren’t at the hotel by 21:00 we could not enter. Period. What kind of hotel does that!? After repeatedly telling me there was no solution, he suddenly admitted that a code could be emailed to unlock the gate. Voila. On check-out morning, during a 10:15am coffee. the housekeeper marched in to bluntly and rudely tell us: breakfast ended at 10, we had to get out of the hotel by 11, and she had a lot of work! It was simply unprofessional, inhospitable, and rude service. We are mature and seasoned travelers and have never experienced this level of rude service anywhere. The property is old-school. Walls alls are covered in fabric and the furniture is a mix of antique European styles. The bed was solid and comfortable. Everything worked in the bathroom, although it should be noted that the shower was tiny—one could not reach the floor if the soap was dropped. Our room faced the street, situated at half-basement level. With curtains open pedestrians were right there. Literally. The location was excellent—walking distance to all of central Rome. The price felt like a gouge for what it was, but that’s the new shoulder-season Europe. Based on the rudeness of the staff we would never stay again nor recommend. Zero feeling of hospitality; more like we were in their way.

Vincenzo who I communicated with prior to arrival was quick to respond and friendly. We enjoyed seeing him in the afternoons and really enjoyed his recommendations. Vera who was at the hotel early every morning and throughout the day was a delight. We felt like we were old friends of hers before the end of our stay. Small hotel, clean rooms, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was standard. Would recommend. 2 blocks from hop on hop off us stop and 2 blocks from local taxis and busses

This little hotel was very quaint and exactly what i needed for my one night in Rome. Though it is a liitle bit dated and the rooms need updating. Vera is so wonderful

Perfectly fine, but quite dated. No bar and breakfast room was tiny with basic selection. Fine to use as a base, but no where to sit and relax at the end of the day.

The room is either on pavement level or just below. There are no plugs for the bath or sink so we had to plug both with a plastic cup provided. It does need re grouting! The air con is a blessing and many blankets are in the wardrobe. The bed is firm but comfortable. The cupboard door next to the bed did try to fall out and handles for the top drawer on a chest came out. The room is dark but overall did smell of damp. If you know you’ll be out a lot then as I said the location is great and this is a hotel that you will remember. As I said I couldn’t fault the staff and how nice and friendly they were

La struttura aveva un carattere molto particolare, i letti molto comodi, e la posizione estremamente centrale per arrivare alla Città del Vaticano. Pulita, personale estremamente cortese e gentile.

Rooms needed a little more attention to detail when dusting. But other than that was a great stay and the old man at the counter was super helpful. I’d stay here again.

Upon arrival the unit they provided smelt like mold. They moved us to another room it also smelt of mold but not as much. The check in person that he would follow up in the morning for another move but nothing. The place is small and we were on street side. The curtains are thin and one nigh someone knock on the window from the street. Very scary. The breakfast option was a joke. I went to make a tea one night and the next night someone unplugged the unit. They must have been upset. The following night I tried again and they shut off the water. All for making a tea. Terrible place.

Konum çok iyi, her yere yakın. Otel çalışanları tatlı yardımsever. Ama odalar için aynı şeyi söyleyemeyeceğim. Bodrum katı olduğu için çok rahatsız edici bir rutubet kokusu vardı.Bir gece kaldığımız için sorun etmedik.

Small family run hotel right in the heart of Rome virtually everything was a maximum 20minute walk away. Breakfast was a traditional Italian breakfast (pastries, coffee and cereal, not very fancy). Airconditioning worked (very important). Only thing I disliked was wifi connectivity, extremely patchy. In this day and age internet connection is very important thus the loss of 1 star.

Nice service and clean. Very nice area within walking distance. Not so comfortable room in the basement. Noisy bed. We stayed rights next to breakfast area, not recommend ed. Simple but ok break fast.

Nuestras estancia ha sido perfecta. La habitación típica de hoteles en Italia pero con un tamaño más que correcto para 2 adultos y 2 niños. Y con buen aire acondicionado, que en plena ola de calor, era básico. El desayuno bueno. Es cierto que solo hay tres mesas , pero nosotros no esperamos ningún día incluso siendo 4. La ubicación es perfecta para recorrer Roma a pie. Y si no , tienes un montón de autobuses a menos de 2 minutos. Y que decir del recibimiento. Fue como llegar a casa de nuestra familia. Vera nos recibió como nunca. Dándonos indicaciones y consejos para visitar Roma, pero sobre todo el trato. Mis hijos han venido encantados y por lo tanto nosotros más. Mil gracias por todo.
