Beliggenheten var perfekt. Rommet var rent. Sengen var veldig hard og ikke behagelig. Vi hadde kjempe dårlig utsikt mot en bakgård. Heisen funket ikke i 3 dager.

Travaux dans l'immeuble adjacent=bruits de perceuses dès 7h. On m'a proposé une chambre sur cours (i.e cellule de prison) puis la possibilité d'aller dans leur autre hôtel mais 3*. Je précise qu'on m'a fait visiter la chambre en amont et que j'ai donc pris en connaissance de cause. Cependant, les prestations étaient évidemment pas les mêmes (pas de machine a café, pas d'eau etc...) l'idée n'a pas traversé quiconque de proposer de venir par exemple prendre juste un café le matin dans la partie 4*... Bref, avoir un comportement de 4*. Cela étant cette péripétie restant un impondérable, le souci c'est l'état général des deux hôtels. Vieux, passé de mode, vieille moquette, bref. Ils devaient être 4 et 3* en 1980. L'emplacement est parfait pour st marc etc... Mais franchement il faut refaire l'intérieur. Le vestiaire du sauna est dans une autre pièce et il faut sortir dans le couloir! Le dernier jour, de l'eau avait dû être ajoutée dans le savon de la douche du sauna pour éviter de mettre un nouveau gel douche. Bref, très très déçu du rapport qualité prix. Considérez donc que c'est un 3* très bas de gamme même si il est parfaitement placé.

Muito feliz com minha escolha. Café da manhã muito bom. Equipe muito simpática e atenciosa. Pessoal da recepção e do café da manhã muito solicito é simpático: todos, sem exceção. O quarto com vista para a lagoa é perfeito!!! Só deixo uma observação quanto ao box do banheiro, que precisa de uma limpeza mais cuidadosa e, se possível, completar o fechamento do blindex, pois o banheiro acaba molhando um pouco. A ducha é excelente!! No mais, só elogios.

Das Hotel war toll und sehr sauber. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Eine bessere Lage kann es fast gar nicht geben.

We were in Venice to start our 40th wedding Anniversary celebrations. The hotel location was great unfortunately we had no view could not open curtains as brick wall right outside, but that was the chance I guess. I was surprised in this day and age no USB charging devices in the room although it had tea, coffee etc. the phone was old and could be updated with new one with a USB charger on it. While the hotel is in a great location it is a little tired the carpets definitely showing ware and tear. Staff were all excellent especially Hans at check in.

Great location!! Hotel was dirty and the pillows were like rocks!! Our room was so tiny, it was ridiculous!! Maid lost the tv remote the first night, never to be found again😳

306호에 3박을 하였는데, 호텔을 청결하였으나 시설이 오래되어 불편한 점이 많았습니다. 306호는 304호와 방문 하나로 나뉘어진 방이었습니다. 그래서 304호에서 TV소리가 우리 방으로 그대로 전달이 되었습니다. 그래서 임시 방편으로 분리된 방문 아래 1~2cm의 틈에 수건으로 막아서 사용했습니다. 그래도 방음이 제대로 되지 않았습니다. 그리고 위 층과 옆 방에서 가구의 삐걱거리는 소리가 들리고, 위층에서 걸을 때마다 쿵쿵 거리는 소리가 들렸습니다. 유럽 여행 중에 이렇게 층간 소음이 있는 방은 처음이었습니다. 방을 바꿔달라고 요청해보았으나, 낮은 등급의 방 밖에 없어서 포기하였습니다. 다음 날 바꾸어 줄 수 있다고 하여, 다음날 낮에는 일정이 있어서 저녁에 갔더니, 모든 방이 가득 차서 바꿔줄 수 없다고 하였습니다. 그러면 낮에 일정을 포기하고 방을 바꿔야 했었던 것인지 의문입니다. 여행을 와서 낮시간은 대부분 일정 때문에 호텔에 들릴 수 없는데 말입니다. 아무튼 다른 분들은 숙박시 해당 내용을 고려하여 숙박할 필요가 있어보입니다. 욕조가 있어서 좋았던 부분은 있습니다.

I can’t believe the property we arrived at is the same pictured everywhere online. The room that was given to us wasn’t pictured anywhere online. The hotel was dark and dingy. The hallways looked like a horror movie, pulled carpet, yellowed tiles on the ceiling… then we get to our room. Not just old… decrepit. I have no idea how this is considered a 4-star hotel. We didn’t get in until 11pm because of some transportation issues, but scoured the city for anywhere else to sleep- which we found- at 12:30am, and happily left. They didn’t refund us, which I guess could be expected. I was happy to lose $600 to not stay there.

Wonderful hotel in a central location in Venice. The staff were amazing, we had a Junior Suite with a balcony that overlooked the lagoon and it was gorgeous. The room was large as was the bathroom and the balcony was an added bonus. Well located with the water taxi and water bus stopping right out the front made it very easy to get to and from the airport and over to the other islands. Also very walkable to all the attractions in Venice, we were very happy and would definitely stay here again.

The first room was a closet with a view of a construction tent 3 feet away. The 2nd room was a little biger with a view of another building 4 feet away.The hotel is not in good shape. The bathroom has been updated. The shower is barely big enough to stand in.There are no usable electric sockets in the bathroom. The sockets in the bedroom were so old that the plugs fell out of the wall and were not near the bed or bathroom. A friend upgraded to a water view. It was a better room but hundreds of dollars more expensive, and it still did not meet 4-star standards. The employees were kind and helpful, but the hotel needs a lot of work.

Hotel Savoia & Jolanda, Venice, Italy – November 2024 3 nights stay. This was my second stay at Hotel Savoia & Jolanda, and I returned with three family members who were visiting Venice for the first time. The hotel’s customer service is exceptional—the staff is attentive and eager to make your stay enjoyable. While the hotel has a charming Venetian character, it could benefit from some renovations in certain areas. One issue we faced was the room temperature. Despite it being November, it was surprisingly warm, and the air conditioning wasn’t working. The hotel provided us with an electric fan, which helped a little, but it was still uncomfortable at night. Unfortunately, opening the windows for fresh air wasn’t an option due to mosquitos, which was disappointing. That said, the bed was comfortable, and we stayed in a junior suite with a balcony overlooking the canal, which was a highlight. Waking up to the views of the water and the lively activity below was an incredible experience. Overall, I would stay here again but would choose the winter months for a more comfortable room temperature. The location, service, and views make it a wonderful place to stay in Venice, but the heat in the fall can detract from the experience.

This was my third time staying at hotel and i won't be returning. The breakfast buffet was one of my least favorite in touring Italy. The hotel turns air off so no air for 3 days. Rooms are nice but very noisy since we needed to open for lack of air. Gave porter $20 euros to bring our 3 bags to water taxi but he dissappeared when our water taxi arrived. The front desk noticed our frustration but offered no assistance or concern . We carried our own bags! On a high note we ate at one of best restaurants in Venice, Da Ivo!! Great food and Friendly Chef!

We loved our stay in this hotel!! My wife and I stayed in the junior suite with a wonderful view of the sea. The room was beautiful and spacious with modern touches. Great location and a very friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent!

We loved our stay at the hotel Savoia & Jolanda. We had a beautiful suite with terraces overlooking the lagoon and the views were spectacular. The breakfast was fantastic and having an outdoor restaurant downstairs at the hotel was also great. The staff were mostly cordial and helpful, however, I chipped a filling on a front tooth the night we arrived and asked the front desk for help finding a dentist on a Saturday and while they said they were trying to find me an office that was open I ended up finding one on my own (who by the way was fantastic and did a great job) and as we were leaving for my appointment we saw the two gentlemen at the front desk busy chattering (definitely not busy searching for a dentist for me) and no one ever got back to me or inquired about my situation. The lobby and the hallways of the hotel are in definite need if refurbishing, but the rooms and bathrooms are all beautifully and tastefully renovated. Our only complaint: the shower didn't have a barrier to contain the water and the water would be all over the bathroom floor (for which we had to use lots of towels to dry). This is commonly seen in hotels in Italy and really baffles me as an unexplainable phenomenon easily fixable by either putting a barrier on the floor or adding a glass door! The location is close to hundreds of restaurants and shopping options as it's a 2 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. Also one can take the Vaporetto to Mestre right across from the hotel.

This is a great hotel in a perfect location. We were 5 minutes to St Mark's. Right on the Canal. Service was amazing. Hans at the front desk was the best. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff all deliver above and beyond in terms of service, especially Hans the concierge and the woman who manages breakfast (who didn't seem to have a name tag). The location is perfect for all the major sights, for the vaporetto, and for the boat to the airport. Both of the latter stop right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is right in front of the Ferry-easy to get to with luggage. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with high ceilings and wood beams. The bed was very roomy.The hotel was walkable to most of the sights. The VIP package with Expedia provided breakfast daily and complimentary champagne. We could not have asked for anything better in Venice.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They made excellent recommendations, assisted in water taxis, dining recommendations and shopping ideas. We were on our honeymoon and were greeted with a bottle of champagne and local cookies twice during our stay. We were treated like family. Grazie Mille.

Really enjoyed our stay. Every person on staff so helpful, patient and kind. Staff assisted with transportation and dinner reservations. Sparkling wine was on ice and waiting. I believe an upgrade wouldn't be possible on room due to specific room we reserved was already an upgraded room.

Wonderful hotel in a central location in Venice. The staff were amazing, we had a Junior Suite with a balcony that overlooked the lagoon and it was gorgeous. The room was large as was the bathroom and the balcony was an added bonus. Well located with the water taxi and water bus stopping right out the front made it very easy to get to and from the airport and over to the other islands. Also very walkable to all the attractions in Venice, we were very happy and would definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel. Located on the canal and A short walk to San Marco Square. convenient to the express ferry from the train station. We had a water facing room with a balcony - just fabulous. Prove reasonable compared to other options. Great for a short stay. Romantic journey etc. you are steps away from wherever you want to be.

Excellent service, lovely room with a great bathroom. A few steps from the Alilaguna transfer from/to the airport, for the Vaporetti and a very short walk to St Marks. A pleasant terrace on the waterfront - rare. A most friendly hotel.

This hotel was ideally situated for everything we wished to do in Venice. It's a short walk to St. Mark's Square. We had a spectacular view of the laguna from our room. The staff, specifcally Ernst and Mattia, were extremely helpful and accommodating, advising us from the moment we arrived, including getting us to the hotel from the train station. The water taxis and water buses are right in front of the hotel. The daily breakfast was incredible with a great selection of food available and the wait staff were very attentive.
