Llegar al hotel es un poco complicado está en callejones secundarios y sin nombres en las paredes, el hotel aparece como de 4 estrellas y con un bar, pero a pesar de que hacía frío 7-18ºC no funcionaba la calefacción, llovía mucho y no tiene restaurant ni bar ni nada donde cenar o tomar una copa para calentarse, todo el hotel estaba helado, la regadera tenía moho y no barrieron el cuarto nunca ya que una mosca estuvo muerta en el piso durante toda nuestra estancia

The staff at this hotel in general were helpful and very personable. The location was nice and quiet, except for the gondolas that passed our windows every morning- very nice. Please note that the breakfast is very minimal with no hot options and there is no room service and there is not food or drink available after 10:30 am. The photo of the rooftop in the listing is in in fact someone’s private room and is not accessible to guests not staying in that room.

Hôtel très bien situé, entre 2 arrêts de.vaporetto, près de la Fenice et des zones touristiques. Excellent accueil, personnel tres agréable. Chambres et salles de bain très propres. Bonne literie. Ascenseur et quai pour bateau taxi. Léger bémol : jus de fruits au petit dejeuner à améliorer et du miel en plus des confitures serait un plus. Adresse à retenir.

No air conditioning! So hot! The room never cooled off. Couldn’t keep windows open due to risk of birds getting in the room. Lowest bed I’ve ever experienced. Staff was great. Water taxi pickup on checkout day was great! Private transportation services can’t use their dock, only companies the hotel arranges. Breakfast hours started late for tourist with early tours.

Always stay at the Kette when visiting Venice. Very comfortable hotel in a very central area but always quiet at night. Water taxi has direct access at rear of hotel making transfer from Marco Polo airport very easy. Only bed and breakfast offered but surrounded by great restaurants. Always found the staff very friendly and helpful. Only problem is keeping my wife out of the designer shops around the hotel!

I enjoyed this hotel which offered a free breakfast in the morning. The staff were responsive and addressed any questions as were the dining staff. Our room was clean, the bed was not as comfortable as I would like but sufficed. All main tourist areas are within walking distance of this hotel and I would certainly entertain staying at this establishment again in the future.

The room was clean and had all the necessary appliances, the location is very central but is however pleasantly quiet at night away from the bustle and noise from the St Mark Piazza. Staff is very nice. There was little choice at breakfast but it was overall correct.

The location was very close to San Marco, which meant the restaurants and shopping were touristy. It’s also close to the San Marco Vaparetto dock, so take the Vaparetto ferry from the train station and enjoy the views on the Grand Canal. There’s no need to take a €60 water taxi. The hotel is very nice, with breakfast included. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet.

Hotel is very average. Each room is different. A/C is poor and barely functioning. No place to hang around in the lobby. Breakfast is below basic. Staff and is very accommodating and helpful. Rooms are dingy. Need to get rid of the musty smelly carpet and replace with something a bit easier to wipe and maintain. Hand the tiny TVs on the wall instead of using the desk space. Some bathrooms are large and some are very small. Definitely take the water taxi to and from the hotel. Coming from the train station, the hotel charge 200 euros (100 for the taxi and 100 for assistance) . Decline the assistance when you go to the train station. It is not needed and the charge is 100. Location is excellent and walkable to all areas of interest.

We found the staff to be really polite and helpful and the rooms are clean but the hotel itself could do with some modernising to improve comfort, it was maybe 12 deg C outside temperature for our stay but the rooms were still far too hot to sleep in without the windows open and as Venice is located within a lagoon we ended up being bitten quite badly by mosquitoes. We also felt the beds themselves weren't very comfy. The bathroom was clean and with the shower being very powerful. Breakfast was included and consisted of continental foods. The selection was ok as we only had two mornings there. When given pots of hot water or coffee the whole pot was hot including the handle so we had to use a napkin to pour it. The location of the hotel is perfect for getting around and is near to lots of high end shops and popular tourist areas such as doges palace which is about 5 minute walk.

Great location in the absolute center close to Saint Markus. Nice room med canal wiew, beds were good with extra pillows. Good breakfast and great coffee. Service was excellent. We will stay there again

The location of the Kette is wonderful. The rooms are a little “tired” and need to be refurbished. Towels are also a little thin. Bathroom toiletries included 2 shower caps but no body lotion!

Great location, near San Marco and the busy streets (right by the designer boutiques!) but set slightly away so it was quiet in the room. Air conditioning was a godsend! Staff were friendly and helpful, continental breakfast was good, room fairly spacious for a compact city but it was a little dated (like a lot of Venetian hotels). Overall really enjoyed our stay.

Kette Hotel is an excellent property, beautiful, safe and great location. The staff are all very friendly and professional. Their quality of service and response to questions both online and in person is excellent. Their willingness to schedule and reserve private transfers from the cruise ship terminal in Trieste and to the Marco Polo Airport were much appreciated. We have stayed here several times and will again on our next visit to Venice.

I came to this 4-star hotel in Venice with high expectations for a family trip, but the customer service was terribly disappointing. I'm not sure if it was racial discrimination, but the first impression at the front desk was extremely unfriendly. It seemed like several people were working, but because of one individual, my impression of this hotel is memorably unfavorable. Apart from the location and transportation, there doesn't seem to be anything good about it. I came to this 4-star hotel in Venice with high expectations for a family trip, but the customer service was terribly disappointing. I'm not sure if it was racial discrimination, but the first impression at the front desk was extremely unfriendly. It seemed like several people were working, but because of one individual, my impression of this hotel is memorably unfavorable. Always stay at the Kette when visiting Venice. Very comfortable hotel in a very central area but always quiet at night. Water taxi has direct access at rear of hotel making transfer from Marco Polo airport very easy. Only bed and breakfast offered but surrounded by great restaurants. Always found the staff very friendly and helpful. Only problem is keeping my wife out of the designer shops around the hotel!

The location was very close to San Marco, which meant the restaurants and shopping were touristy. It’s also close to the San Marco Vaparetto dock, so take the Vaparetto ferry from the train station and enjoy the views on the Grand Canal. There’s no need to take a €60 water taxi. The hotel is very nice, with breakfast included. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet.

Great location, near San Marco and the busy streets (right by the designer boutiques!) but set slightly away so it was quiet in the room. Air conditioning was a godsend! Staff were friendly and helpful, continental breakfast was good, room fairly spacious for a compact city but it was a little dated (like a lot of Venetian hotels). Overall really enjoyed our stay.

The staff at this hotel in general were helpful and very personable. The location was nice and quiet, except for the gondolas that passed our windows every morning- very nice. Please note that the breakfast is very minimal with no hot options and there is no room service and there is not food or drink available after 10:30 am. The photo of the rooftop in the listing is in in fact someone’s private room and is not accessible to guests not staying in that room.

We’ve been making a tour through Europe and all the hotel breakfasts have been similar as far as being continental but this hotel’s was lacking compared to the others we’ve stayed with during this trip. It’s Italy — expected some good pastry’s and bread but no such luck.

Lovely authentic italian hotel. Staff were just lovely, especially Edna at breakfast time. The concierge were very helpful and the gentleman who escorts you to your table at breakfast also very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again

Hotel Kette had been extensively renovated since we stayed here 30 yrs ago. It is a wonderful place to stay, great breakfast and very conveniently located to all of Venice for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We received an upgraded room overlooking one of the canals and enjoyed watching the gondolas and boats every day.
Hotel Kette had been extensively renovated since we stayed here 30 yrs ago. It is a wonderful place to stay, great breakfast and very conveniently located to all of Venice for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
