NH Venezia Santa Lucia

There were many issues during my five-night stay to attend a wedding. I was deeply disappointed the experience fell so far below the standard expected of a four-star hotel. -Non-Functioning Air Conditioning The front desk said a city ordinance prevented the hotel from activating AC. However, I learned from other wedding guests staying here that their AC was working. We couldn’t switch rooms and instead opened the windows at night resulting in mosquito bites and subpar sleep every day. -Extremely Loud Noise Construction noise began at 8:00 AM. Church bells would go off for long periods of time during the morning and afternoon. -Dry Cleaning Service Misrepresentation My room was stocked with a dry cleaning bag. When I attempted to use the service, I was informed that the hotel does not offer dry cleaning. Taken individually, each issue would be noteworthy but taken together across five nights during a significant personal occasion and after repeated attempts to resolve them at the front desk — they represent a failure to deliver on the basic expectations of a four-star property.

Great modern and very clean rooms in NH Venezia Santa Lucia. Excellent location right next to the train station, and having an elevator was a huge plus with luggage. I booked this hotel last minute after arriving in Venice a day earlier than planned, and honestly wish I had stayed longer. The breakfast buffet was definitely worth paying for, the 5th floor views were beautiful, and I really appreciated the free luggage storage after checkout. Staff were kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay. The room also had AC, although I personally didn’t need to use it during my stay. The only small improvement I’d suggest would be slightly stronger water pressure in the showers, but overall everything was fantastic and the room extras were a lovely touch.

Very close to train station - a 2 min walk. No stairs or bridges so easy when traveling with luggage. It's on a very busy street but I didn't hear any noise in my room. It's an easy straight walk to the ghetto. The room was nice but small. The shower did not have great water pressure, but it was fine. The staff was nice and helpful. No physical keys but staff offered to open the door on Shabbat. There is an automatic door to get in and out of the hotel, though. Overall great stay for the price.

Second time staying at NH Venezia. Cannot beat this location. It’s a two minute walk from the train station which is also a hub for the water taxis. The hotel itself is nice, clean and the staff very courteous.

All ok. Except paid for breakfast and the restraurant was shut all stay.
