Property is close to the main ferry port, and the train terminal, and well maintained. The worst part of our stay was that the AC was not functional. The staff told us, that the Italian government has enforced some rules regarding not turning on the AC, which seemed BS, as the AC in Rome's hotel stay was working fine (we visited Rome after Venice). When I had asked the reception staff during the day about the AC not working, he suggested to open the windows, which we did. At night, we couldn't sleep due to insane number of mosquitoes entering our room. The windows don't have any nets. When I went to complain about it at night, the reception staff rudely told me not to try opening the windows due to mosquitoes. Surprising that their person had told me the opposite. He told me I should know what to expect. But again, AC not working, and windows not netted, is a BIG issue of this hotel.

Great location and Front Desk staff were very helpful. However, the room was very hot and the hotel said they were unable to run the a/c due to Italian regulations. Opening the window was an option but it was very loud and buggy. In general the room was ok but small and a bit dated.

We were mostly happy with the stay. I had thought when I booked that breakfast was included, however there was an extra charge. The hotel was listed as having a restaurant and bar, however only breakfast was served, and the bar was never open. Other than that we were very satisfied, and the staff was very helpful.

In overall, satisfied but not impressed. The location is fantastic. The breakfast was satisfactory. It was nice the hotel upgraded my room upon my check-in, but the room is just old, not renovated. The lobby and breakfast restaurant were renovated. The elevator was not in service for the third floor where I stayed, so it was inconvenient. People were nice but somewhat indifferent. I felt not being as cared much as in other good hotels.

Stayed 3 nights and it was a horrible smell in my room. Smells like a mould or maybe a sewer problem. I ask to get move to a different room but was refused they said it was all booked. I ended up sleeping with a mask and sprayed my expensive perfume in the room.

Well placed hotel, comfortable bed, clean. Only issue was slow check in not sure why and there’s a sulphur smell throughout the hotel especially in bedrooms. May just be Venice? But don’t remember that in other hotels here.

The location of the hotel is very good which is next to the train station and easy finding. The buffet breakfast is also pretty nice. However, the hotel has been renovated, but we still can find that some of the furnitures are old.

Perfect location - We had large suitcases and it would have been very difficult to navigate any further into the city with the cobblestone streets and large bridges. The hotel itself was also stunning - high ceilings, brilliant glasswork, and excellent water pressure in the shower. Will recommend to anyone

Very convenient for the rail station and waterbuses, although quite a walk to get to the airport buses. It would have been comfortable except that the room was unbearably hot at 27 degrees and no air conditioning in November. We opened the windows but were then plagued by mosquitoes waking us. A good breakfast. Having decaffeinated coffee available without having to ask would be better.

Our room faced the front street and they don’t put the air conditioning on until late May so we were forced to leave the window open. We got no sleep what’s so ever as extremely loud late until the night and again early morning. We asked to move and they made no effort said they were full, but then we seen a tour show up next day so they could have moved just didn’t want too.

The NH hotel is in the perfect location, right next to the Venice train station. I was so thankful not to have to drag my luggage throughout Venice. Massimiliano greeted us at the front desk when we arrived. He was super nice and helpful. We went to him on several occasions with tourist type questions which he graciously answered. THANK YOU sir! The hotel itself is very nice and stylish in the lobby. Our room was nice, the bathroom was decent size. The only negative was we had a terrible view. We saw ally rooftops and construction. For over $500 dollars US, I hoped for something a little better. Good news, we were only in the room to sleep. We loved our time in Venice!

Hotel com boa localização, mas tivemos problemas... a funcionária ao fazer o check-in nos afirmou que a estadia não estava paga e me induziu a pagar lá no momento , senão não faria o nosso check -in. Estávamos exaustos, ela estava tão "certa" da sua verdade, me sentí acuada e efetuei o pagamento ,porém não conformada, busquei meus recibos e mostrei na recepçao, e a mesma reconheceu o erro (abusivo digamos) cometido. Ela fez o pedido do estorno ao cartao, porém qdo este estorno veio (sim, a cobrança indevida da hospedagem caiu no meu cartão!!! ), e o valor do estorno foi bem menor do que o pago lá indevidamente no check- in. Decepcionante...um lugar lindo, tudo pra ser perfeito e a desatenção desta funcionária, nos causou grande estresse e prejuizo. Outro problema... a garrafa de vinho, a qual tínhamos direito conforme descrito na compra por sermos membros Silver, nem sequer foi honrada e oferecida... e indagamos o porque não nos entregaram a garrafa ... e outro funcionário que estava na recepção ,nos disse que na reserva , o HOTELS .COM, não tinha informado sobre o vinho à eles... enfim, 3 transtornos e prejuízo que nunca imaginaríamos passar, por se tratar de um NH.

Front desk clerk was very rude. She argued with me about my reservations. She insisted that I had changed my reservation from the day before. I told her I made my reservation on the train over there. She had pulled up the wrong file. Room was unbearably hot. Waited 3 hours with no relief. Asked for a fan. She looked down her nose at me and said I was wrong. Temperature was fine. She had not been to the room. Maintenance man came up and said I should request another room. New male desk clerk was equally rude and disrespectful to me. I checked out after 4 hours of Hellish environment. Went to another hotel.

NH Hotel is in an outstanding location, close to everything. We took a boat from airport to the dock in front of the hotel. The train station is on the same side as the hotel with 5-minute walk. We enjoyed a beautiful balcony room with great amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Right next to train station was so nice! We were beat. Also right next to the water bus that we utilized a lot! Staff was great! We asked to move our room due to the bed being up stairs and they were able accommodate us. This made our stay so much better. They even moved our luggage for us

They were excellent and very kind.. Room was clean and very classy. Staff was supportive and answered any questions I had. They stored my bags the day we arrived in the morning and the day when we were set to leave but there was a train strike and we were delayed and stuck in town for a few extra hours. If I come back to Venice. I would stay here again.

Room upgrade did not happen or bottle of wine. When asked at reception just got a shrug. Room smelt very musty and had to open windows but this let mosquito in so got bitten a lot. Breakfast was nice though and hotel in a good location.

Very easy to locate on arrival at train station and close to bus station. Tourist info office close by. Great base for exploring Venice. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful with local information. Comfortable rooms, nicely fitted bathrooms and quality towels. I had a couple of problems with my room (TV and internal phone), to which the staff responded swiftly and happily. I was moved to a new room! The safe battery needed replacing during my stay and again the maintenance person resolved this quickly. Would stay again.

Perfect location for a Venice stay. Very short walking distance from the train station means you can check in or leave bags upon arrival. Water buses nearby to whisk you to center of Venice or other locations. 10 minute walk to autobus station (with a stair-filled bridge) for a 10 euro ride to or from the airport. Hotel itself is lovely. With a welcoming staff. Even the “cheap” rooms had nice views, big beds, and a good bathroom. I would definitely use this as my Venice home base in the future.

NH Hotel Santa Lucia is located just steps from the train station, the Ferrara ( train station) vaporetto stop and the tourist office, all of which make it a perfect choice to get around car-free Venezia. Staff were exceptionally helpful, and made every effort to make my stay with them as pleasant as possible. Beds were among the most comfortable of my entire trip around Italy. Regret there are some negatives, which I hope the NH Hotels management will remedy, because Santa Lucia could be a great hotel. Rooms were too small, especially with a king bed taking up a disproportionate amount of space. Although the bathrooms were new and lovely, the room decor was drab and unappealing. And the mod furniture, tech lighting and especially oversized headboards, were just wrong. Maybe some beautiful printed wallpaper and more traditional furniture would help? The bar and common rooms were better, with their spectacular Murano glass chandeliers; however, again, the mod furniture just does not work. Breakfast buffet offered a variety of choices, but also could be better. That said, I enjoyed my stay at the Santa Lucia and thank the staff for making it special.

Próximo a estação de trem, excelente quarto amplo, assim como o banheiro, roupas de cama e banho muito boas e limpas. O café da manhã muito bom, servido num amplo espaço.
