The staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient, and the location is very convenient, but that was where the positive aspects ended. It was not clear upon booking that there is no elevator at this hotel, and only one narrow winding staircase to get up to our room. The condition of the room, the bed, and the bathroom were all very poor. They are old and not well maintained. For example, when you try to unplug a charging cord, the entire electrical outlet falls out of the wall. The bathroom is right beside the bed, and is so small that my 6’6” husband could not fit inside. It’s about the same size as an airplane bathroom with a narrow shower stall attached. Then, although it appeared to be a double bed, it was two twin beds pushed together, and we suspect that the mattress my husband slept on was infested with bugs, as he woke up with itchy, swollen red insect bites all over his body. It has now been 2 days since our stay, and he is still covered with them. Additionally, the room smells mouldy, and turning on the air conditioner does bot cool the room, but rather makes it smell worse and feel more humid. The convenient location is not worth the drawbacks of this hotel. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

Great location, but disappointing breakfast service The hotel’s location is excellent and perfect for exploring the city. The room, as is common in Venice, is old-fashioned but well maintained and clean. Overall, the cleanliness was good. Please note there is no elevator and you need to climb three flights of stairs. This was not a problem for us as we are in good physical condition, but it may not be suitable for everyone. Breakfast had a great variety and everything was very tasty. Unfortunately, the attitude of the lady in charge of breakfast was very disappointing. Breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m., and although we normally don’t go that early, we had a flight and needed to. When we politely asked if we could have breakfast because of our flight, she responded with a bad attitude. When we asked for coffee, she placed the plate and spoon down very roughly, almost slamming them on the table, and gave us unfriendly looks. Her behavior made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It’s a shame, because the hotel has many positive aspects, but this experience negatively affected our stay.

Bien mais Exrremement petit. Vraiment petit. La porte s’ouvre directement sur le lit dans la salle de bain tout est collé.3 etages sans ascenseur. La wifi n’est pas captée dans les chambres que a l’acceuil. Le téléphone de chambre ne fonctionner pas donc j’appeler avec mon tel perso. Point positif : L’emplacement ! Super bien placé prenez quand meme le bus pour y acceder si vous avez des bagages. Et le petit dej etais super.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Wide variety of choices and we could watch the gondolas go by as we ate. Neither of our rooms had canal views, but breakfast room right on canal. Coffee machine, could make however we wanted. Wifi is extremely limited. Only works in small sitting area with 5 chairs. It did not work in rooms or breakfast area.had to be careful in shower doors did not meet up so water could spray out if not cautious. We lwft luggage bo broblem, left in lobby area.

Wifi is only available in the lobby and not in the rooms. This is not very convenient when you're on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. After being there 2 nights we were quite rudely informed by the woman at the front desk we were not allowed to take the key off of the property. We had come and gone multiple times without turning in our key prior to this. If it is their policy, they should have told us at check in and not scolded is in the presence of other hotel guests.

Really appreciate and deeply thanks for the hotel to help us to adjust our booking mistake. We forgot the timezone difference and booked hotel one day before our actual date with non refundable option. Even the hotel is not available for our dates, they arranged us to their sister hotel with no extra cost. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking to almost every place we like. Just the corridor is narrow and no elevator. Otherwise I will give top rate for everything.

The best was location. Breakfast was good, amazing coffe. Staff was kind. No elevator, no door in the shower, it was broken by previous customer and never fixed. We never leave the key at reception while out, I just took away the heavy piece. If you have the opportunity choose for another hotel.

Bonjour Très très déçu J.ai 77 ans et on m’ a mis une chambre au 3 étage et demi sans ascenseur De plus le réseau wifi est inexistant même au Rez de chaussée Donc j’ai pris simplement la 1ere nuit car je ne pouvais pas chercher un autre hôtel sans wifi Donc je demande le remboursement des 3 autres nuit Merci de faire le nécessaire rapidement Cet hôtel n’est vraiment pas à recommander Il faut signaler le manque total de communication A bientôt pour un remboursement Merci

The hotel was disgusting, the room was so dusty and musty and full of mould on the walls and in the bathroom. The toilet seat did stay up, there was broken shelves in the shower and exposed wiring in the bedroom (to name a few issues).

When we arrived we were greeted by the desk clerk Kate who was very welcoming, informative and efficient. First impression- When we saw our room, we were disappointed that our room and bathroom were so tiny; there was a musty odour and the shower stall had quite a bit of mould. However, the bedding and towels were clean and the bathroom was clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet. A fabulous breakfast is included complete with freshly baked pastries. The location is really convenient. This is a great place to stay!

Les chambres sont petites et sentent l'humidité. Beaucoup de traces de moisissures dans les joints de la douche. Par contre, le personnel est très à l'écoute. Nous avons changé de chambre car la 1ère n'avait pas de chauffage et pas d'eau chaude.

O quarto era mal cuidado, mal conseguíamos abrir a porta, encontramos pulgas nos lençóis. As fotos não condizem com as instalações, banheiro minúsculo: faltava espaço para se mexer. A única coisa boa foina cordialidade dos trabalhadores imigrantes.

There is no wifi in the rooms it lies. The fish tank is disgusting. The room smelled odd. The AC didn't work. The bed had indentations where people have slept and was uncomfortable. They wouldn't move me or refund me so I just left and paid for 2 nights that I wasn't there. Got a different hotel and had a great time.

Grei beliggenhet, men minus for dårlig frokost ikke all verdens utvalg og ikke kjøleskap på rommet så måtte drikke vann i romtemperatur noe som frister i den varmen også veldig kjølig på rommet på grunn av ait condition som var på hele tiden og hadde en plagsomt lyd så frøs om natta, sist men ikke minst måtte gå ned og sitte i lobbyen for at wi fi skulle fungere. Styr unna med mindre du har dårlig råd og vil spare penger på overnatting

Staff was friendly, breakfast was ok. Room was incredibly cramped for 1 person. No response from maintenance to fix lights in room though I asked twice. Venice is expensive but in this case I got what I paid for. Wonderful Italian restaurants to the left of the hotel

Upon check in on September 9, we were told by the lady at the desk to pay €6.50 in cash for service or some other city tax, which we did not dispute and paid. Next day upon check out, same girl asked for €10.50 for city tax. When we told her we had already paid the day before €6.50, she totally denied that we had paid and since we had not gotten a receipt for it, we could not prove it. €6.50 is not worth fighting for, but the attitude and denial of the same girl whom we paid 6.50 in cash made us very angry. We request that the management look into this and while disciplining the girl at the desk, credit our credit card with €6.50.

Wifi is only available in the lobby and not in the rooms. This is not very convenient when you're on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. After being there 2 nights we were quite rudely informed by the woman at the front desk we were not allowed to take the key off of the property. We had come and gone multiple times without turning in our key prior to this. If it is their policy, they should have told us at check in and not scolded is in the presence of other hotel guests.

Really appreciate and deeply thanks for the hotel to help us to adjust our booking mistake. We forgot the timezone difference and booked hotel one day before our actual date with non refundable option. Even the hotel is not available for our dates, they arranged us to their sister hotel with no extra cost. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking to almost every place we like. The stay was fine. The problem was with booking. I needed to change an arrival date. The Alcyone handled that not Hotels.com and I don't know why. I had five reservations at this hotel. The Alcyone cancelled two of them without my knowledge or approval. When I found out I had to rebook at a new much more expensive rate and one of my room types was sold out so I had to book a triple room that I didn't need. What a racket! Now because the Alcyone took over those two reservations, Hotels.com only has three of them on file and I missed out on the Rewards points.The stay was fine although the in room free Wi-Fi didn't work. We had to find a place outside for reception. The employees were pleasant. Frankly worrying about my rooms being right and available and the trouble I had to go through for repeated follow ups took some of the joy out of our stay for me & my family.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Anleger Rialto und 5 Minuten vom Markusplatz entfernt. Das Zimmer hatte eine vernünftige Größe und ein gutes Bad. Grei beliggenhet, men minus for dårlig frokost ikke all verdens utvalg og ikke kjøleskap på rommet så måtte drikke vann i romtemperatur noe som frister i den varmen også veldig kjølig på rommet på grunn av ait condition som var på hele tiden og hadde en plagsomt lyd så frøs om natta, sist men ikke minst måtte gå ned og sitte i lobbyen for at wi fi skulle fungere. Bien mais Exrremement petit. Vraiment petit. La porte s’ouvre directement sur le lit dans la salle de bain tout est collé.3 etages sans ascenseur. La wifi n’est pas captée dans les chambres que a l’acceuil. Le téléphone de chambre ne fonctionner pas donc j’appeler avec mon tel perso. Point positif : L’emplacement ! Super bien placé prenez quand meme le bus pour y acceder si vous avez des bagages. Et le petit dej etais super.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Wide variety of choices and we could watch the gondolas go by as we ate. Neither of our rooms had canal views, but breakfast room right on canal. Coffee machine, could make however we wanted. Wifi is extremely limited. Only works in small sitting area with 5 chairs. It did not work in rooms or breakfast area.had to be careful in shower doors did not meet up so water could spray out if not cautious. We lwft luggage bo broblem, left in lobby area.

The only thing we found was the front desk staff are only there until 5/5:30. I believe they are accessible but not there to get information. Not a big deal as we were only there 1 night so the room was perfect for our needs.

The location was perfect. Breakfast was really good with a nice variety of food. The AC in the room wasn’t that great, but it was in the 60s, so we didn’t really need it. The staff was very helpful, and even carried our luggage up the stairs. There’s no elevator, so if you can’t do stairs this hotel isn’t for you.

After 5 pm there is not reception and it’s very stressfull to get there and entry because you need a code so yo would have to wait they sent the code, it doesn’t have elevator, its so expensive for the Quality of the service, and breakfast so normal
