Super-friendly front desk staff. There was a trash can in our room that was not emptied, I called front desk staff and the young lady was very apologetic for the inconvenience. Large laundry room, clean gym and quiet property located in a business center.

Very quiet, great price for the area, staff very friendly, rooms were new and fresh. But seven dollars a night to park? I know it\'s a Sonesta "thing" but just add it to the rate. Consumers are tired of the add ons. It\'s not Vegas.

Great room, quiet hotel, comfortable and clean, laundry and weight room were great. Staff very friendly. I did have to ask for pots to be able to cook with but were available immediately. Our microwave did not work (is on and appears to work but won't go off- CANNOT turn it off unless you wiggle the door just so. It also would not heat. It popped on and off randomly if you sneeze next to it.) room 308 I would definitely stay at this hotel again- only had this issue- But...I brought the microwave issue up on 4 separate occasions to the front desk, and at least 5 people were involved in saying it would be fixed, never was done in 8 days of stay...

The in room kitchens were very nice and modern, clean, with dishwasher, fullsize fridge, and the dishes, utensils, pots and pans and xtra soaps, papertowels added convience was excellent. The extra Large closet for storage and a closed door was a nice touch to not stare at clothes hanging and our suitcases and bathroom large and clean with large tub/shower and soap pumps installed . The only one feature in kitchen was I personally dont like cooking on a electric stovetop and prefer gas and wouldve gladly exchanged for dishwasher space is only minor and my own personal touch is all. The laundry room was very clean and people were friendly , the paying for parking was not great for 2 vehicles at $7 each per day added up the bill for a week stay so a deal if people have or need two spots per night would have helped to the added cost and a small jacuzzi/ pool area would have made it a better week in summer for us also. Sonesta’s we have been too have not let us down on cleanliness or added perks so all in all some out weigh others on what peoples likes/ needs ect is all and due to no pool/ jacuzzi and pay parking did discourage us to add extra days , only due to us needing hotel thru June and the other sonesta that has pool/ jacuzzi has no microwaves in rooms or kitchen so unfortunately we did have to split it up for the month to adifferent hotel that offered these amenities overall for a longer stay.

At first the property seemed clean. I initially got in the room and removed my sandals. I was in the room for about an hour before I realized there was tiny roaches surrounding my sandals and crawling around the kitchenette. I began inspecting the room even further and found roaches next to the bed and even in the bathroom. I soon became afraid and still am afraid that I exposed myself to these bugs and potentially bring them wherever I go. I filmed everything and made the front desk aware. The lady at the desk was kind and provided me with a different room, however I did not receive a good nights rest as I was concerned about being in another room full of bugs. I did not see anything in the new room, however I did not see anything in the first one when I got there. The replacement room also had a strange smell, but bit my tongue as I did not want to inconvenience myself and the front desk even further. The experience was definitely disappointing and would not feel safe going back there again.

Room had fleas! I ended up with about a dozen flea bites before realizing this the next day. It's cool they allow pets but it's ridiculous they don't take measures to make sure any fleas and pests are properly mitigated!!

The hotel is clean and has excellent staff, everything was fine until we entered our room which smelled of cigarettes and what really disappointed me was the smell of the pillows that stank of sweat and cigarettes from the people who stayed there on that room previously.

WiFi connectivity was terrible. Not a good place for remote work if you are dependent upon reliable internet. WiFi would cut out in 20 minute intervals for the solid week I was there. I had to go to alternative places like coffee shops near Great Park for reliable WiFi.

I recently stayed at the Sonesta and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. For over four days there was constant stomping and heavy noise coming from the room above me. I called the front desk and complained four days in a row, but the issue continued throughout my stay. I want to be clear that I am not blaming the staff, as they were polite and responsive when I called. However, the noise was never resolved, and because of it I lost multiple days of work and rest. This was extremely frustrating and made my stay unpleasant. I hope management takes this seriously and provides a solution or compensation, as I feel this was not the level of service and comfort I expected from Sonesta.

This location was a bit farther from the Pectrum Center than I anticipated, but it was quieter and cleaner with less wear and tear on the facility and room. Unfortunately, there was some kind of plumbing noise that went on throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. It was a liquid or mechanical sound on the exterior wall. The internet was nearly impossible to connect to, so I used my phone as a hotspot instead. I tried calling the front desk on the phone provided in the room, but the phone was dead.

The rooms were nice and very clean. However, I requested a quiet room and the first room I was assigned was far from it. They put me right next to exterior vents and above in entrance / exit door. The second room was better but still close to the entrance which was very noisy. Also, the whole room shakes when people leave their rooms and slam the doors. I thought we were having little earthquakes. Currently, I'm still awaiting my $200 refundable security deposit which I've not received back four days after checking out. Normally, when I check out of hotels I receive it back within minutes, literally - I know from having stayed in many hotels. Other hotels I'll literally see the refund back immediately and not the case here, so now I'm leaving a complaint because I've tried to inquire about this and I'm still not receiving my refund. If a hotel is going to take this long and hold this much money ($200!) I will not stay there again.

Other hotels I'll literally see the refund back immediately and not the case here, so now I'm leaving a complaint because I've tried to inquire about this and I'm still not receiving my refund. If a hotel is going to take this long and hold this much money ($200!) I will not stay there again.

Super-friendly front desk staff. There was a trash can in our room that was not emptied, I called front desk staff and the young lady was very apologetic for the inconvenience. Large laundry room, clean gym and quiet property located in a business center.

Great room, quiet hotel, comfortable and clean, laundry and weight room were great. Staff very friendly. I did have to ask for pots to be able to cook with but were available immediately. Our microwave did not work (is on and appears to work but won't go off- CANNOT turn it off unless you wiggle the door just so. It also would not heat. It popped on and off randomly if you sneeze next to it.) room 308 I would definitely stay at this hotel again- only had this issue- But...I brought the microwave issue up on 4 separate occasions to the front desk, and at least 5 people were involved in saying it would be fixed, never was done in 8 days of stay...

I usually stay at Sonesta suites so I’m used to the area and accommodations. This time around one of the staff members kept coming by my room in the morning asking us to check out. Mind you it was not time to check out which was 11:00 AM. I verified this info and also informed the staff member, but he came by again to knock and tried to get us out of the room. Maybe he was confused or just wanted to clean early. When we did check out at 11 AM that same staff member was in the lobby waiting for us. We pay good money for a nice suite or hotel that can provide some peace on the weekends each month. While sonesta is still our choice of hotel this experience was inconvenient and annoying to say the least.

The staff at the hotel were rude and uncooperative with us. They stated since we booked our stay with a third party they could not help us resolve our issues. We wanted to leave a day early but they would not help us to get credit for the extra day we did not use.

Sonesta Suites is a solid mid-range hotel that I stay at often. I like this location as it is off the main street in a quiet neighborhood with a nice park nearby. Rooms are large and good for work, if you need to. Sometimes I'll get a room that needs some updating, but on the whole - it's all in good shape. They were painting the building while I was there last - so that's good.

Great stay at this very quiet hotel! We loved everything except that the toilet is just very low. When u sit on it ur knees r at ur chest. That is our only complaint, other than that I highly recommend this hotel!

This is my favorite hotel whenever I visit my family in Lake Forest. It's clean, spacious, comfortable, and conveniently located. Starbucks is within walking distance along with a few restaurants. It's a pet friendly hotel; there are plenty of grassy areas surrounding the premises to walk a dog. I stay here at least once a month when visiting family.

This location was a bit farther from the Pectrum Center than I anticipated, but it was quieter and cleaner with less wear and tear on the facility and room. Unfortunately, there was some kind of plumbing noise that went on throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. It was a liquid or mechanical sound on the exterior wall. The internet was nearly impossible to connect to, so I used my phone as a hotspot instead. I tried calling the front desk on the phone provided in the room, but the phone was dead.

This is a great place for extended stay. Kitchen, bathroom, living room, great amenities. Five washers and six dryers and for free. They even got additional kitchen supplies you can use. Coffee pot, crock pot etc. And remarkably it's cheaper then surrounding facilities.

I was conflicted when I checked in. Reception and parking are not great, thoughts of Motel-6 meets something close to that. Ouch. But the room was nice. Comfortable. Cute kitchen. Massive bed. Great quality TV and most important: good hot water pressure in the shower. This is a busy little hotel, people and cars coming and going. Noisy hallways and I had crappy neighbors that were just inconsiderate. Not the hotels fault, but made for a not-so-awesome-stay. Smoking area is right outside the main door, so I sadly walked into a nicotine cloud every time I came and went. Uurgh. I doubt I would stay here again.

The room was nice and clean other than the little bit of sticky substance on the nightstand that would not come off. You also do have to pay to park at the hotel which is very strange to me since you’re already paying to stay there. Also, check the expiration on the food in the lobby before purchasing. Got a few things one night and 3/4 of them were expired by a bit. The front desk lady (forgot her name) but she was very nice, welcoming and informative.

I have stayed here many, many times. It's my prefered hotel when in this area. In all the times I have stayed here (over 40) this is the first time I had an issue. The room had some weird smell to it. I can't put my finger on what the source of the smell was. Noticeable and not pleasant, but not bad enough to make me request a different room. I'm going to consider this an anomaly and book my next stay here.

I photographed both the insects I found in and around the bed and the bites I received. The staff was kind and did refund my room, which I appreciated. However, I have repeatedly requested the written pest-control inspection report so I can understand what was found in the room and what may have caused the bites, and I have not received the report or a response to those requests. I typically do not leave negative reviews because I understand that isolated issues can happen. What has been most disappointing is the lack of transparency and follow-up, particularly because the bites caused ongoing issues and I needed the information for my own health and to determine what precautions I needed to take with my belongings. I do want to acknowledge that the staff members I interacted with were kind and courteous. My concern is with the lack of follow-through after the incident.

The kitchen really helped, although not enough kitchen appliances- you need to request them (if available). I would recommend to bring your own (like skillet, blender, tea kettle). The rest is great!
