Cambria Hotel El Centro - Imperial

Nice restaurant & bar on site. Do need to get BOTH elevators working… made for an inconvenience.

This is a brand new hotel so everything is new. Unfortunately though one of the elevators was out of service and there was a sign on the pool door saying it was out of service. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The food at 1905 was delicious but the prices were a little high!! They have a great back patio with a fire pit and corn hole games.

Rooms are very spacious! Plenty of parking. Restaurant is very expensive, would appreciate if there were reasonable items. The food looked amazing!

My new hotel when I'm in the area. They have an on site restaurant which is a little pricey but the food is pretty good. The pool, jacuzzi and gym is all indoor. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Great stay except hit tub jets didnt turn on so we just sat in hot water.

The wait for the elevator was too long. Only one was working . Water was warm but not hot at 8:00 am. Our room was perfect size for a wheelchair n walker.

The hotel was still new. Property was nice and well taken care of. The inside entry was welcoming and clean. Upon my check in, my room wasn't ready yet so I was told that once it was ready they would let me know. I waited 4.5hrs when finally at 3:30pm i decided to check if it was ready and to my surprise it had been ready for awhile. I informed them I was told I would be notified when it was ready and I hadn't been. I also informed them I had been waiting 4.5hrs. I was quickly checked in but had to give a deposit of $100 which I wasn't aware of be did so as needed. The room was spacious and clean. The fridge wasnt cold nor did it get cold, so I had to turn the temperature down. It got warm at night and the air took some time to cool it down but once it did, ir was nice. I was accomodated 2 free dinners because the breakfast was closed on thw first 2 nights but nothing for having to wait 4.5hrs for my room that was ready and Wasn't notified as I was told. That was quite disappointing. I had tried to use the pool and spa. The spa was closed and the pool was freezing. Ffor an indoor pool I was assuming it would have been heated....it was not!! Really cold! The gym was very small but nice and clean with working equipment. I neglected to check out and utilize the laundry facilities so I am unsure if that was in working order. The 1905 restaurant was kind of like a diner style setting crossed with an upscale style. The prices were EXTREMELY expensive with little portions.

AC is controlled by the hotel. It appears that you can adjust the thermostat but the comfort levels are already pre set and default to override the settings you enter. Pool and spa were very clean and the gym had good equipment.

We stayed for 2 nights because we were attending a funeral for my fiancés grandfather. The staff was friendly. My key card stopped working multiple times and they had to fix it. It was pretty annoying. Since it’s very hot we were looking forward to swimming, but the pool is under maintenance. That was very dissatisfying for us. I won’t be staying again unless their pool and spa are working. Again, the staff tried to accommodate us and they were friendly so that was a big plus. Also there were no trash bags inside the wastebaskets in hotel room.

Clean and comfy room

I stayed at Cambria during a long road trip, hoping for a comfortable, quiet place to rest after a long drive. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing, and it seems well-kept at first glance. However, the quality of the building and the soundproofing is absolutely terrible. The noise from the room next door—guys partying, shouting, and laughing—was so loud that even with a white noise machine, it was impossible to sleep. This went on until midnight, when the hotel finally offered to move us to another room. It felt like too little, too late. On top of that, the cleaning supplies they use are so overpowering that the scent filled the room through the air conditioning and was strong enough to taste in the back of your throat. It was honestly unbearable. If you like staying in a hotel with terrible soundproofing and strong chemical smells, this place is for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Location was secluded which made it quite I enjoyed the cleanliness of the pool and other facilities however room service didn’t come all the week I was at the hotel.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Cambria in El Centro and I'm am very appreciatove of the friendly staff and overall cleanliness of the hotel. I'll definitely be going back.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean andsquished. The bathrooms are very roomy as well and pretty and modern. comfortable. The size of the roo.s are a good size, we were not all

Everything was wonderful. The only thing that bothered me was the odor when you get off at the second floor. It was a sulphuric gas odor. Thankfully the room didn’t smell like that or I would’ve had to go to another floor or another hotel. Other than that it was extremely clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I plan to stay in the future.

Comforter was stained

The property was new so it was beautifully designed and decorated with new furnishings. When we entered, the front desk area was being mopped and I don't think the mop was clean. Also, our bathroom door was a sliding barn door and there was about a two inch gap between the door and the wall so there was no privacy in the bathroom, which was a shame. Everything else was great.

I have stayed at the Cambria several times for work. It is aesthetically pleasing, the rooms get nice and cold, and the beds are very comfortable. I have only ranked it 3 stars because the hotel is very loud and it is difficult to get sleep. The walls are thin and floors are hard and there is no sound insulation. I can usually count on being disturbed by other guest’s noise or reverberation from the restaurant. Also, there is currently construction outside the hotel and I have been woken up at 5:30 am by heavy machinery. It is overall a pretty nice hotel but I wouldn’t stay here if sleep is really important to you.

Room clean , walls super thin, very annoying to rest. AC unit make a “wind like noise” that was really loud and was unable to sleep. Great New hotel looks great but sleep quality horrible, thin walls and AC noise was unbearable. Will not stay again.

This hotel is truly in the middle of beet fields, carrot fields and alfalfa fields. With that said, there is planned growth in the area for sure. Its a very nice hotel, very new but in need of some help with the restaurant staff. They are hard workers but verrrrrrrrrrrrry slow. Super friendly but for the price of the meal at this hotel/restaurant, I want the best bang for my buck when it comes to service. Food is ok. I made the mistake of ordering the rib eye based on the smell of someone else's rib eye at a neighboring table. Nope. Never again. But that's on me for ordering. The rooms are spacious, but catch every sound from surrounding rooms due to the lack of carpeting to buffer sound. I hate carpeting in hotels so it's a chance you take, Bed is suoper comfy, just a nice place to relax. I will use this hotel brand again as the goods far outweighed the negatives. Plus they sell Cambria wine, my favorite, That was a pleasanrt and unexpected surprise!

Amazing place. The beds are suuuper soft. Rested so much on that comfortable bed and great restroom too, a lot of room inside the shower and outside or it too. Will be coming back.

I cannot say enough about Denise the night manager. My husband stayed here, and after I couldn't reach him for hours and hours, I called the front desk. Denise called his room and got no answer. It had been nearly 10 hrs since I heard from him, and I was beginning to panic. Denise calmed me, gave me the non emergency # for police where I asked for a welfare check. After @ 15 minutes I called Denise and she said the cops were there at that moment. A few minutes later she called and said my husband had answered the door and all was well. Denise was so kind and calming in my moment of crisis. My husband and I are in our late 70s and any health problem can happen without warning. Having someone like Denise in charge is such an asset to this hotel.

Great place to rest, we arrived at midnight and the person at the reception was very friendly! Recommended for people looking for a place to rest and if you are going to Sentri/global entry enrollment center, you are only 30 minutes away.

I had a last-minute business trip to El Centro and originally thought I’d finish up and make the 4-hour drive home that same night. After a long day, it just wasn’t worth pushing through, especially since I was traveling alone. Not familiar with the area, safety and comfort were my top concerns. I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The hotel turned out to be a great find! It was beautiful, clean, and had a calm, welcoming atmosphere. I booked it last minute with no problem at all. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. My room was spotless, the bed was "incredibly" comfortable, and it was quiet. When I arrived, I headed to the snack shop, but it had limited items, and it was not fully stocked. Not a big deal unless you are hungry like I was. If you like to snack, bring your own. The room had two complimentary bottles of water, making up for the snack bar disappointment because there was no need to wait for a cup of coffee, I had it in my room. The on-site restaurant was a surprise, the food is delicious and not having to go out again after checking in is perfect. Overall, I felt completely safe and at ease, which was exactly what I needed after a long workday. Sure, I probably could’ve gotten a better rate if I had made an earlier reservation, but honestly? Totally worth it for the peace of mind, good food, good sleep, and avoiding a late-night drive. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the area.

Beautiful brand new hotel, but out in the middle of nowhere. That would be the only complaint, so nowhere to eat unless you use the hotel restaurant which is very limited for dinner.

I gave area around the property only three stars. It is isolated on a rural road surrounded at this time by construction graded dirt. That will be done at some point. The view in the distance is nice, mountains and cultivated fields.

Everything is excellent . We loved the pool to cool off . All the historical wallpaper lets us know about our Imperial Valley. It’s a beautiful property that there is nothing not to like. We love the bar and restaurant.

Nice, comfy new hotel. We were going to eat here, but it was Thanksgiving and their meal was $38! With 3 kids that was a little spendy. Otherwise a great hotel with indoor pool for the kids and jacuzzi for adults.

Room was lovely, beds very comfortable. Food at restaurant was very good but pricey. Service was excellent. Only negative was the minimum accommodation of drinking water. Two small bottles included but when I requested another I was directed to vending machines.
