We had a great time at the pool but it would have been nice if a beer could have been available in the pool area. The bar did not have can beer or plastic glass option for the pool area. We did have some alternative options available and a good time was had with friends

Bed was comfortable. But that was about all good about it. The first room they offered was really small with no where to put luggage. After some discussions & phone calls we were finally given a bigger room. Even though the website said food was available the restaurant was not open for breakfast or there was not even any available to buy. Pool was not available as pump broken. Address said Alpine Way, but office around the corner & no sign to indicate how to find it. Office unattended in the morning & no box to leave key. Staff were backpackers & were nice kids but really need to know more information about their workplace. Very dissappointed with this motel.

This place was a total disappointment. I booked it during school holidays in summer because it had a pool and I promised my kids. It was the highlight of the trip, or meant to be. The pool wasn’t working and was absolutely filthy with pond scum etc. I asked how long it was out of order for and the staff said only a few weeks but that is not true. It’s been out of order for closer to two years as there are older photos available online and the pool looked like that. False advertising. Also a man was really aggressive through the walls shouting and making a massive scene. I would only stay here if desperate, look into other options. Do not recommend.

Just had a fabulous 5 night stay at Alpine Inn, exploring the area. The room was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed including air con and fridge to keep our drinks cold. We overlooked the pool which was great for relaxing around and taking a dip to cool off. We ate in the bar every night, and every meal we had was delicious, not least the Sunday roast, compliments to all the chefs. From check in to serving meals and drinks, all the staff were welcoming, friendly and happy to accommodate every request we made. Faye, as manager was a super host, nothing was too much trouble, and Katie was always happy smiling and keen to please. The locals were chatty and friendly too. We had breakfast in the cafe, super value and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area again.

Faye and team are higly professionals and very friendly. Khancoban is nice place and hotel is very good, vegetarian food is excellent too. Higly recommend to stay here. Swimming pool is not heated but they have fire place outside. Overall excellent

Rooms were only completely refurbished 18 months ago, so condition is very good. Facilities were very basic. No towel rails was a pain. Rather small room, but that's ok. Travel bags on the limited floor space. No bathroom floor mat. Pain !! Kettle, tea n coffee n milk only. No other crockery or cutlery. Small fidge, ok. All together, nothing special. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Meal at neighbouring pub was ok.

New management and customer service is deplorable. This management of this company could do with attending some customer service workshops. The rooms have been renovated and are very nice, having stayed there multiple times over the years the renovations had been overdue, so they got this right. Such a shame that their online booking system (they dont answer the phone) is a mess. Also takes weeks and so many emails to get money back from their mistake and double charging. Still waiting for my refund of double charges. Nearly forgot, my meal was terrible. Ian

Just had a fabulous 5 night stay at Alpine Inn, exploring the area. The room was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed including air con and fridge to keep our drinks cold. We overlooked the pool which was great for relaxing around and taking a dip to cool off. We ate in the bar every night, and every meal we had was delicious, not least the Sunday roast, compliments to all the chefs. From check in to serving meals and drinks, all the staff were welcoming, friendly and happy to accommodate every request we made. Faye, as manager was a super host, nothing was too much trouble, and Katie was always happy smiling and keen to please. The locals were chatty and friendly too. We had breakfast in the cafe, super value and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area again.

We had a great time at the pool but it would have been nice if a beer could have been available in the pool area. The bar did not have can beer or plastic glass option for the pool area. We did have some alternative options available and a good time was had with friends

Bed was comfortable. But that was about all good about it. The first room they offered was really small with no where to put luggage. After some discussions & phone calls we were finally given a bigger room. Even though the website said food was available the restaurant was not open for breakfast or there was not even any available to buy. Pool was not available as pump broken. Address said Alpine Way, but office around the corner & no sign to indicate how to find it. Office unattended in the morning & no box to leave key. Staff were backpackers & were nice kids but really need to know more information about their workplace. Very dissappointed with this motel.

Faye and team are higly professionals and very friendly. Khancoban is nice place and hotel is very good, vegetarian food is excellent too. Higly recommend to stay here. Swimming pool is not heated but they have fire place outside. Overall excellent

Do not recommend if you want to sleep. No insulation or soundproofing. You can hear every single EVERY single thing the neighbouring rooms are doing. Not to get into too much detail but I could hear them all breathing and more…. Utterly over priced. All I wanted was somewhere to sleep soundly. 0/10 I think people giving more favourable reviews may be visiting in quiet season on lower nightly rates and no neighbours.
