Sehr schönes ruhiges Hotel. Die Parklätze sollten besser ausgeschildert sein, kein Hinweis das es ein separaten Parklatz für Hotelgäste gibt, nah am Hotel. So parkten wir am unteren Restaurant Parkplatz, der voller Schlaglöcher ist, sehr tiefe Schlaglöcher, nicht hinnehmbar für so ein Hotel und schleppten unser Gepäck den Berg hoch!! Was eine absolute Unverschämtheit ist, das dieses Hotel mit SPA & Resort wirbt. Ich habe dieses Hotel nur ausgewählt, wegen dem Swimmingpool. Im Hotel erklärt man uns, das der Pool separat gebucht werden muss, wir dürften diesen dann 1,5 Stunden nutzen für 25.- EUR pro Person!! Ich war schon in vielen Hotels weltweit, so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt!

Listed as a family friendly hotel with pool access on Expedia which is a complete lie. We were made to feel very uncomfortable as we had two young children, both during dining and around the hotel. Adults are limited to only 1hr in the pool per day and children are not allowed whatsoever. It’s basically an adult only hotel which the manager agreed. Several families left during our check in and still now, we are battling to receive a full refund.

I really wanted this to be an amazing stay. We took the Presidential Suite, as this stay would be the last two nights of our Paris vacation. The venue itself is very pretty. The one really hard-working bellman in amazing. But everything else is a huge disappointment. I think this is a case of a new hotel desperately trying to get its service staff in order. We were able to get into the Presidential Suite an hour and a half after the promised check-in time. There was a nice basket of fruit and a welcome note...but no water anywhere in the suite, nothing in the mini fridge (not even a paid mini-bar), and the phone did not work, so we could not order room service. Vending machine on the floor was broken. We found several small items in the suite that had been left by the previous visitor - so the room was not checked after cleaning. There was nothing open for coffee between 10:30 and noon on Sunday (so no coffee if you slept in). The spa was a disappointment. They were out of robes when we checked in (to get one, we would have to walk in the rain back to the main hotel and walk back). We were offered a second towel instead. The sauna and rain shower experience were both broken. The air conditioning in the room was broken and we could not turn down the fridged air - the room was 64 degrees the entire stay. No effort to fix it. There was no baggage assistance available when we checked out at 7am, so we had to carry our heavy bags down a flight of stairs. Can't recommend.

The place was very nice. Green, quiet and classy. However - we were with two small children and staff (apart from the people driving the golf carts to and from the parking) made us feel unwelcome with small children. From breakfast - basically giving us no choice but to sit on the terrace at 8.30 am despite it being a bit chilly - so as not to disturb the other guests to not letting us choose when to go to the pool/spa as the only slot they let you have is Sunday morning at 10am. The hotel needs to decide whether it wants to let families stay there or not and if so - be more welcoming to families and less rigid with the use of the pool. Surely we should be able to use a time slot like at 5pm too rather than having to go in the morning when it is still chilly. The place is wonderful but I found those two aspects disappointing for the price we were paying as we have a right to use the facilities like the others as we pay the same price even though we have children

Le spa était très joli mais l’eau était froide non n’avons pas pu vraiment en profiter je pense qu’il faudrai songer à la chauffer . La chambre était très propre nous avons été agréablement surpris par la petite attention dans la chambre et le surclassement nous avons passé un excellent week-end pour notre anniversaire au sein de ce domaine . La petite voiturette électrique qui vient nous récupérer au parking est un plus qui est très agréable . Le petit déjeuner était très bon et varié . Nous reviendrons c’est certain

Disappointing Experience – Not Friendly and definitely not family friendly. We’ve stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world, and have never felt less welcome. Instead of being treated as valued guests, we were made to feel like problems to be managed. This hotel is simply not suited for families. In fact, my advice to management would be to market it as adults-only, not that I would have been impressed if we had just been there as a couple. Listing a pool as a feature when it can only be accessed by prior booking for a single hour is misleading – whether you’re travelling as a couple or a family. To make matters worse, there are no drinks served by the pool, removing any sense of holiday relaxation. The pool staff were unfriendly and overly officious. (Our kids age 11 & 14, are ridiculously well behaved, (sometimes I have to encourage them to live a little bit) the staff kept asking them where we are, when we were on a sun lounger less than 5 meters away. The reality seems to be that the spa and pool facilities are far too small for the number of guests and suites. Our room wasn’t set up– sofa bed with no sheets or duvet provided, and we were told they would have to sleep without one because housekeeping had already closed. Following complaint they resolved this but it was very frustrating. Overall, a disappointing stay.

Je fais beaucoup d’hôtel mais pour un 4 étoiles il y a encore du travail. Le personnels n’est pas au point. Le parking se trouve à 5 min à pied de l’hôtel. J’imagine qu’ils peuvent venir nous chercher au parking en voiturette mais cela n’est précisé nul part. (Avec les bagages et la pluie c’est pas le top) L’accès à la piscine est en supplément 25€/pers pour 2h, cela n’est pas précisé à la réservation. Vu notre mécontentement l’accès nous a été offert. (Merci au responsable que l’on a croisé dans les couloirs car le numéro de chambre qui nous avait été donné n’était pas le bon) Bref les tarifs des services sont beaucoup trop chère. (exemple: Coca Cola 8€ les 33cl et la bouteille d’evian est à 10€ pour 1L, on marche sur la tête.)

This was the best stay at an hotel that I have ever had! The staff was amazing, patient, and very accommodating. Ever thing was very clean as well and modern. If you're looking for a great place to stay while Paris, look no further!

Property was just as advertised, clean, luxurious and the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Great for honeymoons or get away but is a little far from central Paris but is 10 mins away from a train station and the Ubers are quick!

Das Hotel vor den Toren von Paris war ein echter Volltreffer! Die Umgebung ist wunderschön – ruhig, grün und mit französischen Charme, perfekt für eine Auszeit vom Trubel der Stadt. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer mit einem Lächeln zur Stelle, was den Aufenthalt richtig angenehm gemacht hat. Die Sauberkeit war top, alles war gepflegt und strahlte förmlich. Absolut empfehlenswert für einen entspannten und komfortablen Aufenthalt!

Excellent séjour à l’hôtel, tout était parfait. La chambre était spacieuse, très calme avec une literie incroyablement confortable. Le spa était super propre avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se détendre et le restaurant avec des produits de qualité. Le service et la gentillesse du personnel est vraiment à souligner. Un grand merci notamment à Elodie pour son accueil.
Excellent séjour à l’hôtel, tout était parfait. La chambre était spacieuse, très calme avec une literie incroyablement confortable. Le spa était super propre avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se détendre et le restaurant avec des produits de qualité. Le service et la gentillesse du personnel est vraiment à souligner. Superbe hotel avec un oersonnel aux petits soins. Tout esttres bien, petit bemol,notre chambre donnait sur un puis d'aération qui nest pas insonorisé par la fenêtre... donc assez derangeant pour la nuit

The room was beautifully decorated and the bed very comfortable. Clare was an excellent masseuse at the spa which was fantastic. The food from room service and from the bar was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful especially Max. Overall I loved our stay and make sure to use the spa as you get 1.5 hours complimentary each day of your stay.

This was the best stay at an hotel that I have ever had! The staff was amazing, patient, and very accommodating. Ever thing was very clean as well and modern. If you're looking for a great place to stay while Paris, look no further!

I stayed two days on the hotel and it was amazing. One of the best hotel I have stayed in Europe. Clean, spacious, gorgeous, and treated me amazingly

The hotel is a newly restored castle so it was very nice to enjoy a new, clean and crisp room, furnishings and overall new hotel experience. The 'Majordome' was very attentive to all his guests and very helpful while ensuring the place ran smoothly. He gave us a brief tour and history of the domain including the German bunker which added a fascinating historical aspect to the experience. We appreciated the free room upgrade which is nice to know this hotel will do if they have a better room available. The lended long umbrellas at the door are also a very classy and practical touch for guests. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, the bacon was the best I've ever tasted and the crepes melted in mouth. However, no food is available from 2pm to 7:30pm from the restaurant or room service. This was unfortunate for us and guests that arrive famished during this timeframe due to travel schedules, something travelers should be made aware of, or ideally adjusted by the hotel if they plan on hosting international travelers. It felt that outside of breakfast, the restaurant itself is more focused on catering to locals. The location itself is perfect for visiting Versailles in particular and the west end of Paris. Overall this is an excellent hotel which we felt offered a very French experience and feel, including the restaurant menu. Why they named it 'Dolce' in Italian is a mystery and I forgot to ask.

Excellent séjour à l’hôtel, tout était parfait. La chambre était spacieuse, très calme avec une literie incroyablement confortable. Le spa était super propre avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se détendre et le restaurant avec des produits de qualité. Le service et la gentillesse du personnel est vraiment à souligner. Un grand merci notamment à Elodie pour son accueil.

Roger Wright Room 1209 Wed 1st October. The signage in the car park is baffling - there’s no indication how far away the hotel is or whether there are steps. There’s also no information about the electric vehicles and how to call them, we started walking with all our luggage when they came and dropped someone off. Put a camera so you can see when people turn up. Why has a new hotel been designed with external and internal steps and no ramp?? How do people in wheelchairs get in?? I saw other people manhandling their wheeled luggage down the stairs in front of reception - I had to do this as well, very poor design. Service - this starts with a smile but the reception staff were very serious and not very welcoming. At breakfast there were people just standing around looking bored. When I left the breakfast area there were five members of staff crowding round the lecturn. All five of them stared at me, no smile or hello - very rude. It seems to me the hotel is run by the staff for the staff - is this why it’s 240 Euros a night?? Then, despite the fact that guests are given priority in the dining room,there was no room for us and we had to go to the village. Lastly a group of conference delegates outside on the terrace made unacceptable noise until midnight. Where were the staff to ask them to be quiet??? The hotel is well appointed but nothing out of the ordinary. This was meant to be a treat at the end of a 3 week tour of Europe instead we were both very disappointed.

Listed as a family friendly hotel with pool access on Expedia which is a complete lie. We were made to feel very uncomfortable as we had two young children, both during dining and around the hotel. Adults are limited to only 1hr in the pool per day and children are not allowed whatsoever. It’s basically an adult only hotel which the manager agreed. Several families left during our check in and still now, we are battling to receive a full refund.

I really wanted this to be an amazing stay. We took the Presidential Suite, as this stay would be the last two nights of our Paris vacation. The venue itself is very pretty. The one really hard-working bellman in amazing. But everything else is a huge disappointment. I think this is a case of a new hotel desperately trying to get its service staff in order. We were able to get into the Presidential Suite an hour and a half after the promised check-in time. There was a nice basket of fruit and a welcome note...but no water anywhere in the suite, nothing in the mini fridge (not even a paid mini-bar), and the phone did not work, so we could not order room service. Vending machine on the floor was broken. We found several small items in the suite that had been left by the previous visitor - so the room was not checked after cleaning. There was nothing open for coffee between 10:30 and noon on Sunday (so no coffee if you slept in). The spa was a disappointment. They were out of robes when we checked in (to get one, we would have to walk in the rain back to the main hotel and walk back). We were offered a second towel instead. The sauna and rain shower experience were both broken. The air conditioning in the room was broken and we could not turn down the fridged air - the room was 64 degrees the entire stay. No effort to fix it. There was no baggage assistance available when we checked out at 7am, so we had to carry our heavy bags down a flight of stairs. Can't recommend.

The place was very nice. Green, quiet and classy. However - we were with two small children and staff (apart from the people driving the golf carts to and from the parking) made us feel unwelcome with small children. From breakfast - basically giving us no choice but to sit on the terrace at 8.30 am despite it being a bit chilly - so as not to disturb the other guests to not letting us choose when to go to the pool/spa as the only slot they let you have is Sunday morning at 10am. The hotel needs to decide whether it wants to let families stay there or not and if so - be more welcoming to families and less rigid with the use of the pool. Surely we should be able to use a time slot like at 5pm too rather than having to go in the morning when it is still chilly. The place is wonderful but I found those two aspects disappointing for the price we were paying as we have a right to use the facilities like the others as we pay the same price even though we have children

Property was just as advertised, clean, luxurious and the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Great for honeymoons or get away but is a little far from central Paris but is 10 mins away from a train station and the Ubers are quick!

Disappointing Experience – Not Friendly and definitely not family friendly. We’ve stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world, and have never felt less welcome. Instead of being treated as valued guests, we were made to feel like problems to be managed. This hotel is simply not suited for families. In fact, my advice to management would be to market it as adults-only, not that I would have been impressed if we had just been there as a couple. Listing a pool as a feature when it can only be accessed by prior booking for a single hour is misleading – whether you’re travelling as a couple or a family. To make matters worse, there are no drinks served by the pool, removing any sense of holiday relaxation. The pool staff were unfriendly and overly officious. (Our kids age 11 & 14, are ridiculously well behaved, (sometimes I have to encourage them to live a little bit) the staff kept asking them where we are, when we were on a sun lounger less than 5 meters away. The reality seems to be that the spa and pool facilities are far too small for the number of guests and suites. Our room wasn’t set up– sofa bed with no sheets or duvet provided, and we were told they would have to sleep without one because housekeeping had already closed. Following complaint they resolved this but it was very frustrating. Overall, a disappointing stay.

Vi trængte til et par dage væk fra travle Paris og fandt dette fantastisk dejlige sted lidt udenfor Paris, nemt at komme til både med bil og tog. Vi tog toget, som går lige til døren. Helt nyistandsat slot med spa inkluderet (med opvarmet udendørs pool), ren afslapning og så hyggeligt - og til samme pris som et almindeligt hotel i Paris. Der er virkelig valuta for pengene her. Alt var super. Lækkert værelse, perfekt seng, virkelig serviceminded og imødekommende personale hele vejen rundt. Vi spiste i baren begge aftener, som var mega hyggelig med god mad til rimelige priser. Gratis danskvand og vand. Lækker brunch. Jeg er allergiker og det imødekom de på bedste vis både til morgen- og aftensmad. Vi lejede elcykler og cyklede til Versailles slottet og rundt i området, kan kun anbefales. Nogle virkelig skønne dage, kommer gerne tilbage igen og igen.

I had a fantastic time, it was so handy to the Versailles Palace & yet it was lovely tranquil hotel away from all the crowds, food was great & the staff were wonderful, we would definitely go back.

Das Hotel vor den Toren von Paris war ein echter Volltreffer! Die Umgebung ist wunderschön – ruhig, grün und mit französischen Charme, perfekt für eine Auszeit vom Trubel der Stadt. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer mit einem Lächeln zur Stelle, was den Aufenthalt richtig angenehm gemacht hat. Die Sauberkeit war top, alles war gepflegt und strahlte förmlich. Absolut empfehlenswert für einen entspannten und komfortablen Aufenthalt!

The lended long umbrellas at the door are also a very classy and practical touch for guests. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, the bacon was the best I've ever tasted and the crepes melted in mouth. However, no food is available from 2pm to 7:30pm from the restaurant or room service. This was unfortunate for us and guests that arrive famished during this timeframe due to travel schedules, something travelers should be made aware of, or ideally adjusted by the hotel if they plan on hosting international travelers. It felt that outside of breakfast, the restaurant itself is more focused on catering to locals. The location itself is perfect for visiting Versailles in particular and the west end of Paris. Overall this is an excellent hotel which we felt offered a very French experience and feel, including the restaurant menu. Why they named it 'Dolce' in Italian is a mystery and I forgot to ask.

Roger Wright Room 1209 Wed 1st October. The signage in the car park is baffling - there’s no indication how far away the hotel is or whether there are steps. There’s also no information about the electric vehicles and how to call them, we started walking with all our luggage when they came and dropped someone off. Put a camera so you can see when people turn up. Why has a new hotel been designed with external and internal steps and no ramp?? How do people in wheelchairs get in?? I saw other people manhandling their wheeled luggage down the stairs in front of reception - I had to do this as well, very poor design. Service - this starts with a smile but the reception staff were very serious and not very welcoming. At breakfast there were people just standing around looking bored. When I left the breakfast area there were five members of staff crowding round the lecturn. All five of them stared at me, no smile or hello - very rude. It seems to me the hotel is run by the staff for the staff - is this why it’s 240 Euros a night?? Then, despite the fact that guests are given priority in the dining room,there was no room for us and we had to go to the village. Lastly a group of conference delegates outside on the terrace made unacceptable noise until midnight. Where were the staff to ask them to be quiet??? The hotel is well appointed but nothing out of the ordinary. This was meant to be a treat at the end of a 3 week tour of Europe instead we were both very disappointed.

The room was beautifully decorated and the bed very comfortable. Clare was an excellent masseuse at the spa which was fantastic. The food from room service and from the bar was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful especially Max. Overall I loved our stay and make sure to use the spa as you get 1.5 hours complimentary each day of your stay.

I had a fantastic time, it was so handy to the Versailles Palace & yet it was lovely tranquil hotel away from all the crowds, food was great & the staff were wonderful, we would definitely go back.

The hotel is a newly restored castle so it was very nice to enjoy a new, clean and crisp room, furnishings and overall new hotel experience. The 'Majordome' was very attentive to all his guests and very helpful while ensuring the place ran smoothly. He gave us a brief tour and history of the domain including the German bunker which added a fascinating historical aspect to the experience. Excellent séjour à l’hôtel, tout était parfait. La chambre était spacieuse, très calme avec une literie incroyablement confortable. Le spa était super propre avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se détendre et le restaurant avec des produits de qualité. Le service et la gentillesse du personnel est vraiment à souligner. Un grand merci notamment à Elodie pour son accueil.

Que dire… Quand les process alourdissent le système ! Check in & out longs, pas de peignoir dans la chambre qu’on nous invite à aller chercher nous même au spa après appel à la réception (dommage quand l’hôtel dispose d’un spa 25€/pers pour 1h30), on nous invite à réserver le dîner et on oublie de nous prévenir que seul le bar et sa carte brasserie est ouvert le dimanche, nous attendons toujours le pain sans gluten (pour intolérance) commandé ce matin au petit déjeuner (28€ /pers). L’établissement est cependant bien entretenu, le cadre est très beau et la literie bonne.

Incredible hotel, only 25 minutes from the centre of Paris. Truly beautiful and surrounded by a real French small town. I cannot recommend the hotel, the staff and the food enough. It would be crazy to stay anywhere else when visiting Paris.

When we arrived parking was limited due to teams of Tour de France also staying at the hotel so we had to park at the bottom. They had two gentleman running carts to transport guests and their luggage Check in took forever not sure why it was such a lengthy process at this hotel but it was and there was a long line. I do think there could be a better check in process. We were placed in house 5 which was down a bit. The room is beautiful and so are the hotel grounds. The buffet breakfast was really good. Overall I’d stay here again. We also ate at the restaurant Andy’s patio at the hotel and it was really good. I want to make it a point to recognize the two gentlemen who were running the luggage carts July 25-26. Those two were by far the hardest working people that weekend. It was hot and they were moving our luggage and others from morning to night. The younger one would always tell us the plan and end it with “does that sound like a deal for you?” We grew to love his end of sentence phrase that we now at home use. Both were so kind but he was just beyond great. He made staying there that much more enjoyable because every time we’d pass him on the cart or get a ride he was just so nice. Those two deserve significant raises for how hard they work. They went above and beyond all weekend. I hope they are shown this review from the two Americans with all the luggage. I hope they are recognized for how hard they work and worked that weekend and are rewarded in someway.
