Red Lion Hotel Coos Bay

All the rooms are clearly marked "non-smoking" yet it appears that is simply a suggestion. Stayed two nights and it was brutal for someone who does not smoke. Asked to change rooms and given another but it was no different than the first. Parking was good and the limited staff interaction was positive. But the smoking was just awful.

I have stayed at 2 other way more expensive hotels in CoosBay area and this one is the best so far and way cheaper. Beds were comfortable. Room was really decent for the price. I was pulling a U-Haul trailer so the large parking area was nice especially since I am not experienced at that. If staying for just 2 days and like room service, it needs to be requested otherwise you have to ask for extra amenities. That was a little out of the norm but the man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Me and my dad were comfortable. I would recommend it over the $250 a night hotel casino in town that we had to request maintenance twice. Or the other that the beds were so hard we had to request extra blankets for padding. If price matters and comfort matters, the Red Lion is a good choice.

Staff and room were great , would definitely recommend, price was also fair

Parking was great and the heat/AC worked great

Staff were excellent, The breakfast options were somewhat lacking.
