We stay at this hotel routinely, when visiting our student at college. Love the room layout and location. Price is reasonable and it’s comfortable. However, there are a few things that really need to be improved, but I’m just going to focus on the number one problem: the key card system. It is terrible! The last several times we’ve stayed there, we’ve had continual problems getting our key cards to work. We’ve heard other guests complaining about it as well. When you’re out at night and return to the hotel and stand at the back door, trying and trying to get your keycard to work, it’s incredibly frustrating. Same as standing in the hall, desperately trying to get in your room. It’s so bad I am considering looking for a different hotel. And it’s not because we’re keeping them too close to our phones - mine was nowhere near my phone, and I had to replace it at least 6 times in 3 days. If this hotel wants to keep customers, they must upgrade to a better keycard system.

Our air conditioning didn’t work. There were no open rooms so they gave us a fan. The next day they had it repaired. Although it was uncomfortable the first night. The staff did the best they could for us. Everything else was great. We appreciated that the pool and fitness area were open late.

Room key card did not work, tried 3 new cards and had to settle for a card that had to be inserted/removed/jiggle/remove/insert see red light/jiggle & if lucky green light would appear. Truly a frustrating process that was never solved. Will think twice before returning.

The staff in the daytime were friendly. The breakfast had was well serviced and had good food options. The make your own yogurt granola bowls for example was quite nice. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom condition was not great. Looked like some would near the ceiling and peeling wallpaper. The curtains were fairly dirty at the window as well. We had looked forward to the pool but unfortunately it was out of service.

there was a small amount of mold on the ceiling above the shower and the grout and corners of the bathroom floor were not clean, the room was clean but showing its age. The biggest problem was the people above us were making a LOT of noise sounding like they were jumping from the furniture and running up and down the hallway and after I called and complained 3 times between 9pm and 11pm the woman at the front desk said she could not do anything about it and I would have to just live with it. I called again at just about midnight and the guy at the desk went back up there and everything went quiet for a while and I was able to fall asleep but they started up again and kept my wife awake all night. When I asked the women earlier to do something about it she said she would not be able to do anything and I said tell them to leave and she said she was not able to do that either. I will not stay at that hotel ever again I feel that for the price of the room you should not be told to just put up with a noisy person above you and feeling like the front desk clerk does not really care if you have a good stay or not.

Woke up at 2:30am with a bug crawling on my neck! Killed the bug and took it down to the front desk. We went to breakfast, then left our key cards at the front desk. Never heard from them! They had plenty of time to talk with us at breakfast or at check out or since then! Not a word! No apology, No refund, No free next time accommodation! Nothing!🙄

Staff was wonderful. The drawback was that it’s a hotel. The ice machine woke me several times as it was just across the hall from our room (room 102) and just the typical hallway noise. Staff was great to interact with. Rooms were nice and clean. I’d stay here again.

Hotel is clean but kind of run down; walls are somewhat thin, there was noise from other rooms and the lobby. The breakfast was decent, however, and the rooms did have good coffee.

This is my second stay here. Check in was easy. They gave me a right off the lobby, but it was quiet in the hallway at night. The room was large and comfortable. I'll be back because it's convenient on my frequent trips to eastern Washington.

The hotel didn't do work properly. I have fully paid my hotel stay through Expedia. The hotel charged my stay again SILENTLY through my security deposit credit card after I checked out. They didn't inform me AT ALL until I found out myself in a month. I gave the hotel several calls, but nobody really investigated until I got to hold the hotel manager, Steve. First of all, his attitude is not good. He claimed they charged my hotel stay through my security deposit is because they didn't get the money from Expedia (which they did and I confirmed with the Expedia agent later). They suggest me talking to Expedia instead and let Expedia pay the hotel first so that they can refund me the double charge. They even sent me a message through Expedia and asked for my other credit card information. They didn't do their work, and just let the innocent customer take consequence of their wrong doing. WATCH OUT your credit card information, the hotel might use it abusively.

The hotel is modern and clean, but the staff seem to be disconnected from what hospitality is. They were not rude, but just went about their business focused on their duties, not the guests. Examples include testing the fire alarm with not notice at 8:30am, and starting to clean up breakfast early (including washing tables with a bleach bucket right next to where I was eating my breakfast.) Just a little disconnected.

We unexpectedly stopped in Ellensburg and found this newer looking hotel, decided to try it. Room was extra large, bed was comfortable and the young woman at the front desk made a good dinner recommendation. We had several options within walking distance. We've stayed in Ellensburg at other hotels over the years and this was by far the nicest!

We stayed here while touring CWU. Very easy to navigate to and from. Easy walk to many shops and restaurants. Clean rooms, comfy beds, great breakfast. Wonderfully helpful, happy and welcoming staff. Couldn't ask for more - already planning our next stay!
