Had a great one night stay despite the rainy weather. Enjoyed the great room, pool and game room. Luckily had a nice Sunday morning to explore the area a bit. Will definitely be back for a longer visit.

The room we got was not the same one as in the pictures on Hotels.com, not even close. The pool, which was the reason for us booking this very expensive hotel room, was closed, and we didn't receive any notion of this before our arrival (although it was pretty obvious it had been closed a while). We brought this to the staff's attention, and at first they were completely ignorant. At some point they left a note for us in our room and treated us to a free breakdast. At least that was something.

Beautiful view, nice room, comfortable beds. The Lake and trails are gorgeous! Too bad the canoe hours weren’t convenient for our travel times and couldn’t find the details for pre-planning that activity.

The heated indoor pool was a nice surprise along with the amazing game room for families. Customer service was exceptional and it made for a relaxed getaway. There wasn’t great cell service and/or WiFi due to the remote location but that is why we were there…to be in nature. Lots of great hikes and only a 45 minute drive to Ruby Beach which is one of our favorites.

What a beautiful lodge! It is exactly as described and photographed. It is quaint, thoughtfully decorated and perfect. The leather couches, the indoor pool, the fireplace the chairs and yard games out back...amazing. the lake was glass like, the food was good and hiking around the lodge was exactly what we needed.

The venue is obviously wonderful, but every Aramark-government-concessionaire property I've lodged with (Lake Powell, Quinalt, Sol Duc) is a poor experience and this is no exception. No chance of checking in before 4 PM (we asked). Carpet coming up in room. Toilet leaking water. Super pricey (hotel, restaurant and gift shop). Chilly customer service. Restaurant portions (ravioli) were tiny; prices were high. We were parked in a room at the very far end of property, not fun for the kids. Pool was OK. Key cards only worked intermittently. Sauna wasn't working properly. Internet is extra, AND it doesn't work properly when you buy it. Really can't say enough bad things. Venue and setting are pretty (no thanks to Aramark). Arcade was a fun touch. Fun lawn games for kids. That's about it. Terrible value overall

This lodge is in a supremely beautiful area and is well run. The grounds are immaculate and there are enough activities on offer that you can come here and never get in your car until you leave. You can kayak on the lake, go fishing, take a pontoon boat tour, swim in warm weather, and hike. You can dine in the restaurant (overpriced but OK) or get pub food (surprisingly good pizza) at the bar. You can sit in front of the fire in the rustic, well-appointed lobby. I would have given this lodge five stars if it wasn't for the late check-in and the wifi. The check-in is already set at 4:00 p.m., which is late. They didn't manage to have the room ready until 5:00 p.m. A staff member offered us compensation, but nothing ever came of it. Also, we were misinformed about the wifi situation. While it's not a big deal to not have wifi, the employees should be informed about the situation. We were told we got 90 minutes of free wifi a day, but it was actually only 90 minutes total.

You can't beat the nostalgia you feel at this historic lodge. Relaxing on the back deck or lawn, looking at the lake with a drink is just perfect after a day of hiking. The inside gathering space is very inviting as well if the weather isn't as nice. The bar serves pizzas all afternoon and evening and we saw plenty of people opting to have that for dinner. We ate in the dining room. It was good and the view was nice. We arrived in the afternoon and checked out in the morning. We didn't have time to take advantage of the on site kayak & canoe rentals but would if we stayed longer. The pool and game room are nice amenities for families. Our room was in the main lodge. It was basic but had a view of the lawn and the lake and had a king size bed. We slept comfortably despite no a/c but I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it if it was hot out. You will be unplugged here! There is no cell service and you get 90 minutes of wifi per day. That was fine for us but it was a little weird feeling like family couldn't contact us.i do recommend staying here if you enjoy historic properties like I do. Even if you don't stay overnight it's worth spending some time there.

The towels were dirty, underneath the bed and prior guest stuff was under there. The walls had cracks and the ceiling fan had tons of dust lint, The sauna did not work welll. I was supposed to get three nights for the price of two did not happen, The property definitely needs TLC.

The scenery was of course beautiful but our sheets were dirty and had holes in them, major dust pile up behind the bed that I noticed when trying to plug my charger in. Called the front desk and all they said was we could go down and get some new sheets that we would have to put on ourselves. When paying $450 a night, I'd expect more

We we're amazed at rustic this place was compared to others we've stayed at. Room was in second floor with no deck or porch, room was hot, shower very, very tiny and very slippery, very loud halls, room much smaller than the pictures showed. My hubby called it a walk in closet. For the money spent we should have had at least a deck. We found a dirty, i mean dirty towel in the dresser drawer next to the hair dryer. YUCK. Not handicapped friendly for the location of the room with no help getting our suitcase up a huge flight of stairs. Staff were friendly and lunch and dinner were awesome but breakfast wasn't that good, but the buffet had started an hour and half prior to us getting there. Guessing things would have been better if potatoes, French toast etc were fresher. Also, nobody talks about the height of toilets, this was the lowest we've ever had. Difficult when handicapped.

My 2nd time staying at Quinault Lodge, and we love the beautiful surroundings. Room 102 isn't ideal because it has a humming noise from something that's running in the floor below. You eventually tune it out, but it's annoying. Comfortable sheets and beds, but there's historical dust behind the head boards that were once nailed to the wall. Overall a good one-night stay this time; will stay longer next time and request a better room, which we couldn't do this time since it was (amazingly) a same-day reservation.

My room was horrible and dirty! The bathroom had no privacy and the little bit of curtain they did have up had holes and was see thru. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything your neighbor says. Not the experience I was hoping for after a long day of travel. Very disappointed.

The lodge was very musty, and our room was not very clean. Underneath all the furniture was extremely dirty. It looked like the bed hadnt been pulled away and cleaned in at least a year....very thick dust and grime. The wifi situation was extremely disappointing....having to pay to use more than 90 minutes. For the price of the lodge per night, i definitely wouldnt recommend this stay to anyone i cared about.

It’s a beautiful lodge next to the lake, you get to enjoy breathtaking views of the lake at sunset. The room was a bit dusty but no big deal for us. The restaurant was amazing, we had breakfast and dinner and it was very good, bit expensive but worth it. All the staff were very nice. You only get 30 minutes of WiFi per day!!, but we loved that, you get to be present and fully enjoy your time. Many hiking trails near by with a beautiful waterfall. The lobby is extremely cozy, with many board games and a huge fireplace; since you can’t use your phone, we went to read there and relax, it was full.

Iconic historic lodge on the shores of beautiful Lake Quinault. Room was clean and comfortable, but dated. The great room and grounds were spectacular and dinner in the Roosevelt Room was delicious. Great location, convenient to several rain forest hikes.

The grounds exceeded expectations and the ease to trails made it easy to hike. The room was comfortable, but very average. Small bathroom, no air conditioning, and 90 min of WiFi a day. The views and ambience were the highlight! Note that there is not an urgent care or hospital close. The restaurant had delicious food, but somewhat pricey. The hibiscus margarita was awesome!

Can't believe the lodge is 99 years old; it's been lovingly maintained. We stayed in one of the Lakeside rooms, delightfully quiet. The rooms had been nicely redone since we last stayed there 20 years ago. Some of the couch cushions in the main lodge's lobby were cracking; hopefully they'll be reupholstered soon.

You can't beat the nostalgia you feel at this historic lodge. Relaxing on the back deck or lawn, looking at the lake with a drink is just perfect after a day of hiking. The inside gathering space is very inviting as well if the weather isn't as nice. The bar serves pizzas all afternoon and evening and we saw plenty of people opting to have that for dinner. We ate in the dining room. It was good and the view was nice. We arrived in the afternoon and checked out in the morning. We didn't have time to take advantage of the on site kayak & canoe rentals but would if we stayed longer. The pool and game room are nice amenities for families. Our room was in the main lodge. It was basic but had a view of the lawn and the lake and had a king size bed. We slept comfortably despite no a/c but I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it if it was hot out. You will be unplugged here! There is no cell service and you get 90 minutes of wifi per day. They have antique radiators to heat the room that are pretty noisy so bring some ear plugs. Lots of history in this building and very close access to beautiful trails. Will come again but likely stay in the newer constructed rooms near the lake.

Beautiful location. Loved the spacious lobby and seating options. Our room was small and no sitting area/chair or desk. A TV would be nice, but not necessary. There was a layer of dust on top of the headboard. The room was very warm and the fan in the closet had a leg missing and kept falling over.

Wasn’t ready for check-in until almost 5pm. Rude front desk staff and inattentive. Extremely noisy people in the room above us without a phone to call the front desk in the room. Lake Quinault is a beautiful place with the worst service of all time. I have never been to a place where the staff is so rude. The front desk lady was brusque and unaccomadating. We asked her for a pillow and walked into a closet and said they didn’t have a single available pillow. The staff in the restaurant is not friendly, the food was expensive and mediocre at best. Except breakfast, that was good. The rooms are noisy, dirty, uncomfortable. The only thing going for this place is that it’s beautiful. So if you stay here, be prepared for a motel 6 experience with amazing views.

Great Stay. Helped by Alexi at check-in. He helped us sort out an issue and it really got our stay off to a great start. We really appreciated his professionalism and friendliness. We hadn’t been to the lodge in 10 years and it appears to be being kept up. We will return next year for a longer stay because of this past experience

I am not unaccustomed to premium pricing because of location. I was quite pleased with my first views of the property. Thereafter, my experience was less satisfying. The check in staff were less than friendly or helpful. Our room arrangement was what i would expect for a property built in the 20's. What i did not expect was the "original" carpet, curtains that looked like they were shredded by a cat, a double hung window needing repair, and furnishings that came from a thrift store. Our evening dining experience was very good. Breakfast, however, left much to be desired. Overall, for the price point, the property could be maintained to a much higher standard. I could not in good conscience recommend that friends stay here.

The venue is obviously wonderful, but every Aramark-government-concessionaire property I've lodged with (Lake Powell, Quinalt, Sol Duc) is a poor experience and this is no exception. No chance of checking in before 4 PM (we asked). Carpet coming up in room. Toilet leaking water. Super pricey (hotel, restaurant and gift shop). Chilly customer service. Restaurant portions (ravioli) were tiny; prices were high. We were parked in a room at the very far end of property, not fun for the kids. Pool was OK. Key cards only worked intermittently. Sauna wasn't working properly. Internet is extra, AND it doesn't work properly when you buy it. Really can't say enough bad things. Venue and setting are pretty (no thanks to Aramark). It was a one of a kind, family friendly perfect getaway. The only complaint was from the restaurant. Last night our server was slow. This morning we waited forever just for drinks. The place was dead. Excellent service should come with the luxary prices you are paying.

Amazing restaurant. The food was so delicious! As good as anything I’ve had at a metropolitan restaurant. The service at the restaurant and lodge was outstanding. Highly recommend for a rustic but pampered retreat in the most beautiful setting. The maintenance staff even helped out air in my tirea before my road trip departure.

The lake Quinault lodge was amazing. Very calming and cozy. A beautiful view of the lake. Rooms were clean quaint. A perfect spot for the Hoh Rainforest sightseeing. Has alot for familys game room outside games. Humming bird feeders and there were alot of Hummers feeding. Definitely recommend this lodge.

This lodge is in a supremely beautiful area and is well run. The grounds are immaculate and there are enough activities on offer that you can come here and never get in your car until you leave. You can kayak on the lake, go fishing, take a pontoon boat tour, swim in warm weather, and hike. You can dine in the restaurant (overpriced but OK) or get pub food (surprisingly good pizza) at the bar. You can sit in front of the fire in the rustic, well-appointed lobby. I would have given this lodge five stars if it wasn't for the late check-in and the wifi. The check-in is already set at 4:00 p.m., which is late. They didn't manage to have the room ready until 5:00 p.m. A staff member offered us compensation, but nothing ever came of it. Also, we were misinformed about the wifi situation. While it's not a big deal to not have wifi, the employees should be informed about the situation. We were told we got 90 minutes of free wifi a day, but it was actually only 90 minutes total.

We really enjoyed the Rainforest tour with our guide Ashton. The Lake itself is swimmable — but some might find it chilly and there is a substantial current. Also good for kayaking. Hiking in the area is fantastic.

Beautiful property and view of the lake. Loved sitting on the deck eating my breakfast or lunch and watching the lake. Rooms were lovely. Wish they had an elevator to get to the second floor but overall a wonderful and very memorable stay.
