Even thought there was onsite parking at the hotel, the hotel does rent out their parking spaces. When I came back to the hotel for the night there were no parking spots available anywhere. I decided to check out a day early and stay elsewhere. Not impressed.

We love staying in funky little hotels, and this one fit the bill! The renovated bathroom was spacious, there was an elevator, and the staff was friendly. Loved the cartoons they showed on a wall at night, plus all the murals painted around. Knowing that trains rumble past, they thoughtfully supplied earplugs. Breakfast was at a restaurant a couple of blocks away, but that got us moving in the morning. I'd stay here again.

The property felt safe, plenty of parking - one lot with free EV charging. The room was small but clean. Although there was a train track nearby, it wasn’t disturbingly loud (plus the hotel provided earplugs). Reasonable rate, and the location was awesome!

Building is nice but carpet and corners are dusty and inside the room smells pet pee. we ask if we can move to another room but they say don’t don’t have available on the main level, but they have available that for show room only may be? We ask for rooms which is not a pet friendly my wife has allergies with pet hairs they say no available. Staff is great I. The evening and morning very accommodating even though she is very busy. She finds time. To help us thank you

Based on other reviews I chose to stay here. Never again. Not clean at all. Bathroom shower had several different colors of hair left behind. Dirty floor. Bathroom door was frayed, paint coming off at the bottom and appeared to have been previously repaired with brown glue. Walkways outside very dirty with spilled substances. Cut my stay short rather than spend another night there.

To get ice had to walk entire length of hotel get on old dirty elevator and go to basement. Not safe for women traveling alone. Front desk had two kind young women who were helpful older woman was rude and insulting. Did not continue reservation - did reimburse which was helpful.

The stay was okay. You can hear everything. The cleanliness could have been better as there was urine around the toilet. The steam plant says they own parking lot across the street. Recommended we park there and the following day we received a parking ticket.

I wish i would have understood that the train goes by multiple times a night. The room i had literally shook with some of the trains. I got no sleep for three nights. They do provide ear plugs however those provided little sound relief. The hotel room was very clean and updated and the hotel is conveniently located to access the Interstate and downtown entertainment.

If you know Spokane, you know what you're getting into with the location of this spot. We liked the price and were fine knowing what the homeless population and train noise would be like. Was surprised we booked a full bed, but that was honestly on us - just was not the most comfortable thing. Pillows were pretty crappy but it was okay. Bathroom was nice and tv had lots of channels. They have an elevator to get up and down the floors and to the underground parking. Parking was SUPER full when we came back one night and we almost didn't get a spot....would have been a bit frustrating since we paid for parking (it was the Friday night before Bloomsday). Front office & staff were super kind and accommodating. We did not use our breakfast vouchers at Rosies as it was Bloomsday weekend and other reviews had mentioned the crazy wait time on just normal days. Overall was a 4/5 and much better than expected! The reviews I read right before we checked in scared me but we had no issues with bed bugs, uncleanliness, and the trains are honestly not that bad - good background noise to fall asleep to.

The location is great and easy walking to spots around downtown Spokane. The room is basic but mostly clean (nice bathroom and clean, comfy bed!) but our carpet had a couple large, slightly sticky stains. Also, it should be said that this is a motel (not a hotel), which is not a problem for us but could be for some. The train also goes right by the motel all night. They provide ear plugs, which is great, but if you're a light sleeper something to keep in mind. Breakfast at Ruby's was convenient and made the room a good value.

Room was just fine, bathrooms are nice. The furniture is old, cheap, and the desk is not comfortable and small. It’s quaint and very basic. If you are traveling for work, beware, the WiFi is TERRIBLE. I was getting a few MBs down, and KB up. It was incredibly poor and disappointing. I could barely get any work done.

A real shower, not a tub with a curtain. Great pressure. You can hear the trains but they won't wake you up. You can't open the windows so you have to open your door if you don't want to feel cooped up. The air conditioner blows right on you and is noisy. The downtown bus plaza is a 4 1/2 minute walk away. The WiFi was glitchy and I had to use mobile a lot which cost me money.

I walked into the lobby/office and no staff was there. Waited almost 20 minutes and someone finally showed up. Didn't acknowledge in any way that I'd been waiting for 20 minutes in an empty lobby, much less apologize. The area is awful, the hotel is in bad shape, and the staff don't care at all. Would skip it for sure!

When we checked in, we asked about the 4th of July activities. We were very unenthusiastically told they had no idea. We were given our keys with no explanation about anything. We would have loved to know there was a food voucher in the key folder. Yes, we could have looked, but besides the keys, we weren’t expecting anything else in there. The hotel is also right beside the train tracks, so if you are a light sleeper, avoid this hotel. The TV was also not working in our room. With the hospitality when we checked in, we opted to pull things apart and fix it ourselves. The room was clean, it was in walking distance to a lot of pubs and restaurants, but I will never stay there again.

the front desk attendant was being very judgy because I was tried to use a prepaid card for the incidental fee, and I asked to use her charger to turn my debit card back on and my phone was dead after 13 hours of traveling (her android was plugged in on the counter which is the only reason I asked) to which she replied “this is an iPhone cord, so no sorry.”which was annoying because that just made me feel she was implying I was trying to steal her cord or i was being shady. I completely understand the policy for the cards, but you shouldn’t allow guests to pay for a room with those cards then either. Very misleading, I use prepaid cards when I travel because I’ve had my information stolen from a front desk employee before. I don’t appreciate that she was video calling with someone the whole time I was checking in, not professional at all, and when you’re dealing with customers private information, personal devices shouldn’t be on display for the customers, didn’t sit well with me. She had knitting stuff all over the counter, but should be investing that time into making sure the rooms are clean and ready. The room wasn’t very clean, and had a weird smell, was extremely drafty, the floor creaked throughout the room and you could hear everything going on around the block, I stayed until about 12:30AM and then just went and booked a room at the Davenport. I didn’t use it but the bathroom looked nice. Hopefully management can refresh proper customer service with their staff,

It seemed they stayed open for me and waited for me to check in which was about 2 hours after the lobby closed. I hadn't been aware that it closed at 11:00 and our flight was delayed and they were still open so I'm thinking he was waiting for me because he left right after. How great is that?! The included breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic!!!

Great convenient location for checking out downtown Spokane. Easy check-in and parking right in front of the hotel. Also included a breakfast voucher for a diner down the street that came in handy the next morning.

Great convenient location for checking out downtown Spokane. Easy check-in and parking right in front of the hotel. Also included a breakfast voucher for a diner down the street that came in handy the next morning.

Great downtown location. So many things to do within walking distance. Lots of parking options both on site and right across the street. Staff is very nice and helpful with any questions or concerns you may have. It is right next to the train tracks but it’s not as noisy as everyone made it out to be in my opinion.

Property was clean. There is a train track close by, but that would be with any hotel in downtown Spokane. Enjoyed the walkable area.

The hotel is great and good downtown location and we would like to point out we felt safe in the hotel but around the area is a huge homeless and drug problem. As a couple we felt ok but my wife on her own would not stay here (or in this area) and anyone with young children please be mindful they’ll see some things that may frighten them. This is something completely out of control of the hotel but unfortunately must affect them. The noise from the trains may bother some people but you have ear plugs in your room so use them. Great hotel not a great area

Good location but; Train is loud hence the ear plugs you see when you walk in room. Ac very nosy. Continental breakfast included Cold cereal, bagel, peanut butter and jelly some fruit cups NO MILK. When asked about milk was told they ran out and did not get their order. Must have ran out day before because it open at 630 am and I was there at 630 wanting coffee.

Pretty cool hotel. I liked being able to watch the trains go by right from my room. Everything was clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were friendly and quick. Only issue I have is that you are given a coupon for 1 breakfast per room at a restaurant a couple of blocks away - saying breakfast included is a little deceptive in my opinion.

The Expedia description says breakfast is included, but in reality, it's only for one person. Additionally, the hotel charges for car parking, which was not mentioned anywhere during the booking process. The hotel should clearly state both of these details in the listing.

Perfect location for what I needed. It's funny when you walk into your room and there are complimentary earplugs on the desk by the phone you know. I was on level one. Super convenient, but could hear the elevator door rolling open and shut at all hours, the floor above creaked, but hey its a hotel not a library. The complimentary breakfast was great and just a short walk away. The folks at the breakfast spot were SO nice, courteous and helpful.

Great for a 1 night stay passing through on our road trip. Basic room but had all you need for a short stay. Great location & free parking. We had no issue with train noise.

The front desk staff was very informative, friendly, & quick to help. The cleaning staff did a very good job. We were well pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The bed slept very well. Tub did not drain very well, but it was a very nice shower. In no advertisement were we told that the free breakfast or the fitness center was off-site. This was not helpful for is. Also, it would be better if people knew that free breakfast was only for 2 people & it was a very limited option of food choices that were free.

Check in was very efficient. When I wanted to check out at 4.00 am, there was no one at the reception, which was locked. There was a note to call the reception of another one of their hotels nearby, but the room phone was not working, so I just left. This was slightly disappointing.

Pretty good place. It's right on the edge of Downtown, so it's on the exact transition block between grungy and upkept. That said, I never felt unsafe when I walked around the next morning. Lots of off-street parking, but they charge you $10 on check-in if you say yes you're parking with them, which I didn't realize until I checked my card. The desk agent was very helpful when I couldn't get my room handle turned enough to open the door xD The room itself is pretty nice. It was organized and vacuumed, but didn't smell like a clean room. Beds had a scent like someone slept on top in sweaty clothes. The beds were comfy though - I slept well. Nice bathroom - remodeled, but water pressure could be much better. No on-site breakfast, but they give you a free voucher for Rosies, just down the street. Voucher is limited free menu or $6 off anything else. Food was very good! I got the French Toast, but the burrito that would be free looked big enough to split into breakfast and lunch!
