Landmark Resort

Clean and quiet. Beautiful surroundings and a great view. Good indoor or outdoor pools as well as several other activity areas for children. Lighted pathways that are easy to travel. A condo unit that was well stocked, very nice, and comfortable. Friendly staff and easy check in/check out.

Overall this worked well for my needs with 3 kids, we had a lofted unit. The biggest bed was in the loft, stairs are definitely a challenge if you have little ones or in the middle of the night. Main floor bedroom had a smaller double bed and then we used the pull out sofa. Bathroom is on the main floor. Overall these condo buildings are really tired, dated and need a good cleaning and updating. The pool is in the main building so we walked over to use it, the hot tub in that building was lukewarm. The hot tub in our building was warm but there were never any towels. View is gorgeous. Outdoor spaces are gorgeous. Location is good and close to Egg Harbor. I would stay there again, but not for what I paid! Definitely accurate as a 3 star stay.

Beautiful place to stay. 1. Condo was roomy, nice to have a place to sit and visit, play cards. 2. Beds were comfortable. 3.Shower had hot water for all 4 of us to take long showers. 4. Plenty of carts for luggage. 5. Plenty of towels for bathroom and kitchen. 6. Nice area next to both sides of the bed for C-pap machines. 7. Beautiful area with lots of trails and trees. 8. Elevators for those who need it. Stairs are wide and lighted. 9. Nice common areas to hang out and talk or play games. 10. Very quiet 11. Price was great to split between 2 couples. 12. Parking was plenty and drive up to load and unload was great. Some improvements that could be made: 1. Bottom bedroom was hot if door was closed. 2. Coffee maker lid was broken but still worked. 3. Fridge froze items but still appreciated having a fridge. 4. Hot tub was dirty, extremely hot, and jets didn’t work. But it was huge and had a nice outdoor area attached. Those were a little disappointing but we all in all had a lovely time and will be back.

This property has a prime location, high on a bluff with beautiful views of the bay, but needs an update badly. We looked forward to having a hot tub in our building, only to find that it wasn’t really working, with a few weak bubbles. The pool was not heated properly, and when I reported this to the front desk, i was told this was due to the ambient temperature outside. However, the pool at the next building over was much more comfortable. The onsite restaurant was not open during the days of Labor Day weekend that we stayed there, so leaving the property by car for dinner was a must. The interior of the building was definitely dated and in need of an update to carpet and furnishing. Unfortunately, as units are individually owned here, there seems to be a lack of proper management and planning for modernization of this resort. Lots of potential that is yet unfulfilled.

The resort has multiple indoor and outdoor pools. It has a nice walking path. It would be nice if they had vending machines in each building though.

Everything was perfect we had a blast and the 24 hour adult pool time is amazing

Amazing views! A great place to settle in after a day exploring the peninsula. Family-friendly so beware the pool areas can get loud.

The major aspect we love is the location and the indoor pool for the kids and family.

Very nice place, very clean . The bathroom was quite small but adequate for the 2 of us. Beautiful sunsets at the restaurant . The gym is a great asset there also. I'd recommend the Landmark

The resort's setting was calm and relaxing. Loved the in-room extras (range, microwave, dishwasher, etc.). Nice fitness room and optional outdoor activities (walking path, courts, fire pit, etc)

Water was white, never seen that before. The place was dirty, cobwebs everywhere and not dusted in some spots. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The room layout was very nice with one bedroom downstairs and one up. Kitchenette was a nice addition to our room. The shower and bathroom need an upgrade. The shower head is set very low and the water off/on and temp handle was very loose making it difficult to regulate temp. The floor in the bathroom was gross in the corners, the inside of the shower curtain was stained.

The room was smelly - like old smoke - that was the only negative but it's a deal breaker for me.

The grounds are in a beautiful setting. Our room was big and spacious however the decor was very outdated. Room spelled musty and the hallway carpet was dirty. The front desk people are very nice.

The floors were so dirty that I had to throw my white socks away. The rest of the place was just okay. The bath towels provided are very stiff and uncomfortable to the skin.

Rate was fair for the condition of property. Hallway carpet s need replacement. Room was musty or had been smoked in. Great potential. Quiet. Convenient location. Nice staff

Our master bedroom was very small that we had no room to put our luggage. The living room rug was very dirty with stains all over. The whole Condo we stayed in needed a good cleaning to get the cob webs out and needs a painting. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen setup was good. I didn't see a vending machine which would be nice and when we ran out of items we made a call and they were brought up pretty quick. We asked for a ADA room with a walk in shower and was told it would be 300.00 more because they only had a water view and we asked for a wooded view which i dont think they should charge you more for that

The front desk staff were professional and friendly. Check in and checkout was a breeze it didn't take long at all. The room i stayed in was very inviting and comfortable. I did stay at a time were it wasnt busy, but the noise level was good. I was very impressed with how clean my room and every where else on the property inside and out!

Make sure that house keeping actuallt changes the sheets and pillow cases. Ours had been slept in.

The room wasn't the cleanest - there was dust and it had a slight odor. Overall, it was okay. I probably wouldn't book it again.

We were incredibly dissappointed in this property. Pictures look amazing, and the view cant be beat, but it is an old property with small units. We had 1 bedroom with a loft. Tge bedroom was so small, our luggage had to be in the living room. There was not a spave large enough to open a carry on sized suitcase. Units were incredibly hot, even with AC on, had to sleep with the bedroom door open. Upstairs loft was almost miserable for my 20-something daughters. Im glad we were only there 2 nights and another (less expensive, but much better, actually) resort the other 4 nights. Also - wi-fi was terrible. Not a huge bigggie on vavation but we couldn't even get google to load while on property. Overall, very disappointing for the cost. August 2025

The Navigator premier waterview suite was beautiful. The living area is spacious and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The bed was very comfortable. You can not beat the spectacular panoramic view. If the bathtub/shower were updated, this suite would be absolutely perfect. Also loved using the pool.

The property was situated in a beautiful area. The kitchen was equipped with the basics. The beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable.

The Landmark is the place to stay in Door County. Nice, spacious rooms with great views.

I haven't stayed at the LandMark before, the grounds are beautiful and it is very clean and well maintained. I do not understand why the 2 bedroom units are lofted and have no privacy. It seems very unnecessary. No one can use the living space if someone wants to go upstairs and laydown because that room is open to the living area. It is odd and unnecessary opening. If that was walled off I would rate the stay higher. Clean, pleasant staff, nice place.

The room was two floors, which was a treat for the kids! Having a dedicated adult bedroom also seemed like it would be great for us! The big problem was the AC system. First, it wasn't big enough to keep the whole room cool. The loft was really warm, even in October. The bedroom doesn't have its own AC, so you have to keep the door open to stay cool. The AC in our room wasn't capturing condensation, so it was dripping all over the futon. I let maintenance know but they didn't seem too concerned. Landmark is also out of town and a sizable resort, so walkability isn't great.

The property is beautiful. The bedding needs to be updated. The pull out couch was very uncomfortable.

Very nice resort. Pool was great. Views were awesome. Rooms were clean. Only downside the rooms are pretty small, was too tight for a pack and play and for that reason will have to go elsewhere next time. It fit, but with not much more room in bedroom to walk. Could be walkable to town ~20 min, but we just drove everywhere. Staff was polite and helpful. I would recommend to others

Great view! The room was big, but the bathroom was terrible. The shower didn't work at all, and the bathroom was incredibly small for the amount of money. I have stayed at less expensive hotels and had large bathrooms where the shower actually works, and the bathroom sink drains. The manager explained to me that the shower needs a how-to tutorial on how to work it. A shower should just be able to turn on and have water pressure. If you are expecting luxury or above average accommodations, do not waste your money. Also, the room and hallways smell extremely musty. On a positive note, the view, pool, kitchen and fireplace were nice very nice. I wish the bathroom functioned and there wasn't a smell. If those were fixed, I would stay again.

Room just was showing its age. Lightbulbs were not functioning. Toilet wobbled. Living area and kitchen were narrow and crowded.

Rented the 3 bedroom condo to celebrate a bachelorette party for the weekend. Having the access to the pool and having a living area made for an amazing weekend! Desk was friendly and very helpful with all our questions. Very easy check in and check out.

I accidentally left a paring knife that I had brought with me in the utensil drawer. The knife says Cutco on the blade. We also spoke with Tracy about locating the knife. The customer service representatives were very professional and helpful. We were allowed to arrive a bit earlier due to a family member’s needs. The room was nice and the bed was quite comfy.

We had a very nice experience. The room was very clean, and the gal at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Check in was miserable. Room wasn't ready for over 2 hours after check-in time. Impacted plans because we couldn't get in our room. Communication on delays after arriving were non existent. Front my desk staff had no idea when room would be ready. We arrived early, understandably our room wasn't ready, but were given no indication the room would not be ready until well after check-in time. Decided to wait. Checked back at front desk 15 minutes after check-in time, 1.5 hours after we arrived. Staff was thinking room would be ready 15 or 20 minutes later. An hour and 15 minutes later, 1.5 hours after check-in time and almost 3 hours after we arrived the room still wasn't ready and the staff still had no idea when it would be. We knew for a fact that multiple rooms of our type were clean but not checked in yet. My friend and I had to leave for an event and our wives had to stay and continue to wait. We were offered "free" drink tokens as compensation which was insulting. Especially when we read the tokens and saw they weren't free. We had to buy a drink to get the free drink. Room was eventually ready over 2 hours after check-in time and 3.5+ hours after arrival. No true apology for the significant delay. Staff didn't seem to care they ruined the firstv night of our vacation. They knew we were there waiting and did nothing to get us in our room. The resort was nice but the check-in process was horrendous and the management should be ashamed by how they treat their guests.

Couple staying overnight for Door Country Century. Property needs to be updated, but is clean and tidy. Signage was lacking for location of ice machine. Staff was courteous and friendly.

Beautiful property. However, the fireplace did not work in our unit and we left messages with the front desk, but never received a return call. Also, our property was on the first floor however, the first floor which meant taking an elevator down one level, walking down the hallway and then we had to lug our luggage up five steps to get to our condo. This information was not communicated in the details of the room online.

Very scenic property that looks like a great place to stay. However, the customer service is horrible. First they gave me a room that smelled HEAVILY of fresh smoke. Took me three hours until at 11pm they finally offered us a different room. Then the next afternoon demanded we had to be out of the room without a warning and forced us into our third room in 24 hours causing us to be late for a wedding. Staff was never apologetic, and tried acting like this wasn’t their problem.

I loved the setting, remote yet convenient

It’s a great hotel, in the re middle of a forest. Close to everything. Nice pool and hot tub. Our suite was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We've been to Door County many times in the past, but this was our first stay at Landmark Resort. We were pleasantly surprised. It's not on the lake/bay but on a bluff overlooking Green Bay with sunset views that are incredible. The resort has been there quite a few years, but it is well maintained and in very good condition. Our rooms were perfect for our stay and included a small kitchen so we could eat simple meals without going out to eat three times a day. We'll be back!

The Landmark Resort is beautiful and the location can't be beat. If you want to dine at Carringtons, make reservations, I was turned away but had an excellent meal at Shipwrecked, with a very attentive server, Kate from the Ukraine. Love the amenities at Landmark and the beautiful view. The grounds are spectacular.

We enjoyed the area of Door County it is located. The grounds are beautiful but the condos are becoming a bit dated. Overall very nice

We liked how peaceful it was in the woods and its easy proximity to all the fun stuff to do in Door County. We biked in the state park which was excellent.

Right on Egg Harbor with lots of walking paths and other activities available

We were fortunate to book the Landmark at the last minute and the rate was good. Not much interaction with staff on a 2-night weekend stay, so check-in was good. Bed pillows were not great; only thin sponges, so glad we brought our own this trip. Nice having a full kitchen. Bathrrom and wash area very small, but OK. Overall, very happy with stay as the location was outstanding.

We keep coming back to Landmark because we love it so much. The views are incredible. Location is great, close enough to Egg Harbor but out of the direct hustle and bustle. Property is so peaceful. We use the walking trails, tennis courts, playground, shuffleboard, and love walking over to pickup food at the restaurant. My only suggestion for management would be to start replacing condo doors with solid doors for soundproofing. But overall, the general theme is relaxation (haven't experienced anyone up late being noisy) so noise isn't a deterrent for us.

The Landmark staff were friendly, the grounds well kept, and the room was clean aside from a a press on fingernail that I stepped on when I walked around my side of the bed. There were a lot of fruit flies in the bathroom sink and the room smelled of stale smoke even though we stayed in a “non-smoking” room. The furniture was outdated and you sank 2-6 inches when you sat in the chairs. The Carrington had friendly staff, but cold, tasteless food. Would not recommend, and we won’t stay at the Landmark again.

Property is beautiful, staff were friendly and professional and the check in and out procedure is a breeze. No complementary breakfast in the morning, but many of options in the area for places to have a lovely breakfast or brunch. The hotel does offer a Sunday brunch I believe it is $29 a person. I love that there is a hot tub in every building and the pool in the main building looked beautiful, but my family was so pleased with the hot tub. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. We will certainly be staying here again.

Loved every minute of it. Our room was impeccable. I would stay over and over and over again. Beautiful!!!! The food at the restaurant was also amazing and I’ve eaten at some high end restaurants. The shrimp scampi was outrageously good. My husband’s filet was perfect!

We liked the peace and quiet and the restaurant here was great. Also good walking paths and views of the lake.

Easy check-in and check-out, with a great view of the lake. The hall way carpet was dirty and worn in Flagship building. Entry doors to units banged up at the bottom where kick plates were removed. Interior of unit, chipped paint on walls in various places should be touched up. Carrington restaurant great service and food.

Beautiful area! Tesla charging was great! The young man bartending at Carrington was awesome!

We enjoyed the hot tub after a long hike! It would be nice if the resort offered a complimentary coffee/water at the guest service check in. Thank you for a nice stay!

We always stay at the Landmark when we go to DoCo and rent a condo. The weather was cooler so didn't get to use the pools but the hot tub in our building was great. We did not have a good experience at the Carrington Restaurant located on the property. Food was fine but the service was poor - took 50 minutes to get our food when the waitstaff said multiple times it would be a few minutes. Egg Harbor had 2 days of activities for the 4th of July so it made our stay very enjoyable. Bailey's Harbor had great fireworks too.
