Coyaba Beach Resort

Amazing! I don't usually stay at resorts but because it is low season end of August, I was able to try it. I was struck with awe seeing a pool right outside the garden view room. I'd heard of such but that was my first time. Staff were also awesome how they interacted, spoke well explaining about the history of the hotel. The food was great too I had the red pea soup & beet salad with pecans and mixed greens.. I wasn't too hungry but it was quite satisfying. The beach was small & appeared at the time to have a lot of seaweed. Besides the pool at the room balcony there was another pool for frolicking although not a lap swimming pool. The grounds are well maintained, a small gym also for workouts. I would love to stay again.

Beautiful rooms. There wasn’t many people there but it was quiet and comfortable. Surroundings and the pool was lovely. The beach was a bit mushy. As in the sea wed needing weeding out but overall a very nice food. Only one Jamaican dish option.

I really enjoyed this property, especially the pool area. It was very relaxing with great views of the ocean. The property upkeep is pristine, and my room is clean and spacious. I have no complaints. One of the highlights of my stay was the restaurant staff. I enjoy visiting the ladies at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. They were so sweet and kind they make us feel very welcome. Their warmth truly adds to the experience. Since the property just recently reopened, I believe they still have some of the kinks to work out, but so far I will definitely return. Just a heads up: the beach is not swim able because it’s a bay. But it’s still nice to walk along the shoreline and take in the natural beauty. My only area for improvement is the checkout process. Check out felt more transactional than a nice farewell. The lady that check me out could be a little more friendlier. Did not ask me about my stay, just “what is your room number” and “you have a final bill”. I think it’s a nice gesture to ask the guests about their stay, and a “thank you for staying with us” would be a great final lasting touch. Overall, this is a beautiful property with wonderful staff and a relaxing atmosphere. I look forward to returning as they conti
