Enjoyed my stay in Iririki Island. Felt like my island home. The island resort had a lot on offer including complimentary breakfast, day spa, dining restaurants, live music, buffet nights, pools, tour desk, gym and kids club. For recreational activities there is a tennis court, free hire of kayaks, stand up paddle boards and snorkelling gear. The ferry from the mainland of Port Vila to Iririki runs all hours so commute is very convenient. Hence there is no issue if you would like to head to Port Vila for some local shopping, food experiences or be picked up for booked activities or airport transfers. The highlights at Iririki are the staff. They are genuine and friendly. Always lending a helping hand! Let’s not forget the scenic ocean views and sunsets which I was in constant awe of.

I had a deluxe ocean view spa room - it was huge and the best view of the room options here. The resort is probably the best situated in Port Vila - a 5 minute boat ride and you're in the middle of PV. Very quiet, staff are so pleasant and it rubs off on the guests as everybody says hello. The only negative are the dodgy jetty connections to the boat, just a little jump. Would definitely stay here if I stayed in PV again. A big shout out to all the staff during my stay.

Lovely long weekend from Sydney. Easy to get to from the mainland, and plenty of food options. The beach for snorkeling was a nbit underwhelming and the pool needed more loungers. Besides that the theme nights were a standout.

The Island and resort overall was very pleasant, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The resort was a little run down and did not have the water sports as advertised only a few kayaks. The food was average. However the pools were great particularly the lagoon pools on the far side of the island.

Fantastic 7 day holiday as a couple. We were aware there had been issues due to the recent cyclones so we were able to look past the damage and clean ups. The island is a simple 5 min boat ride into Port Vila so you have the utmost convenience without all the hustle and bustle. If you want a nice, relaxing place to stay with numerous pools to chill out in, but still want to be close to the town with all its foodaries and tours, Iririki is great.

Wonderful getaway in a beautiful location with many options for activities on the island. We came as a couple. Things that may deter people is the noise from the nightclub (club lit?) across the water, aim for a room away from reception. It woke us both up on a couple of nights and I am a heavy sleeper. This island has hills and stairs, lots of stairs so if you are unable to navigate this might be an issue. There is a restaurant on one side of the island and can be a long walk if your accommodation is on the other side, especially with kids. The staff are absolutely fantastic. The ferry across to the mainland whenever you need it is great. We would visit again with knowing now where best accommodation is for a quiet spot.

We enjoyed our holiday to Iririki Island Resort although the facilities were not as promised. Service is very slow. No golf buggy’s are working so you have to walk to your room with luggage in tow, and it can be a solid 10min walk if you’re on the other side of the island. Not enough lounge chairs near the pool either for the amount of people on site. It is a very run down resort and I definitely wouldn’t say it’s a 4 star property. Shower was leaking which drenched the whole bathroom each time you turned it on. Balcony door was also broken so you couldn’t lock it properly. Not a great variety to eat at the restaurants either especially for lunch options.

Our eight night stay was a delight. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. We took the full board option, which in our opinion was a must and a real value add to our booking. The food choices are varied and the quality of food is outstanding. Some of the cooking was questionable when it comes to med/rare meat or not rendered lamb cutlets, but they definitely do seafood very well. What makes this a great holiday is the island of Iririki and the most happy friendly staff. Nothing was a problem and only too willing to do their job with an ever present smile and happy mood. The pool areas were very nice and well appointed. The beach and snorkelling areas need upgrading, but are still clean and serviceable.

If you're concerned about needing to ferry to and from the island constantly - don't be. The ride takes about 2mins and the boat operates constantly. The longest you'll ever wait is 5 minutes. We stayed in a waterview fare though not over the water but still excellent. Island has pools on either side as with the bars and restaurants. This means even at peak time (after Christmas) it never feels full of people. The snorkelling was surprisingly excellent, heaps of fish including clown fish despite there not being a reef.

Just spent 10 days at Iririki and stayed in an ocean view deluxe spa room. The view was amazing and the room was very clean. Lost power a couple of times but we found out some maintenance work was being done at the time and power was on within an hour or so. It’s a beautiful resort but it is showing signs of tiredness and needing some repairs/fixes. Overall beautiful and would definitely go again..

Our shower head was far too high so I felt like I was drowning each time I showered, toilet seat was broken and leaked. In general though the staff were wonderful, we had a great time. Meals slightly over priced, Boat service to and from the Island was fantastic.

The rooms are a bit tired and in good need of a thorough bathroom cleanse. Little things need attention such as our toilet seat only having one bolt in it meaning it slid all over the place when sitting on it. These are things easily fixed by maintenance and should be brought to the attention of management by cleaning staff. The staff however are very friendly and despite these minor things, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

While a very nice place to stay, I found Iririki not very accessible friendly. My husband has an injured back and nerve damage and found it quite a challenge to get around AND up the 3 level of stairs to our room. The room itself was nice enough but very plan and had an empty kind of feeling with no decoration at all. It had a very strong paint smell which did dicipate throughout the week however was still prominant and the first morning we both woke up with quite bad headaches. The jucuzzi was good but smaller then expected and jets were not clean. Azure restaurant was a nice spot however the pricing of the menu was quite expensive for both food and drinks and food was lacking in flavour, very disappointing. We did get a meat pizza from the sunset bar which we also found to be quite flavourless. The staff were very friendly, although we did ask for 2 extra pillows at reception and didn't get them until the next day when we asked our room attendents a second time. The pools were amazing but I also feel like a "spa and resort" should also have public jucuzzi/whirlpool in the pool areas. Upon talking with a few other people, they were also under the impression these would be in the resort.

Beautiful place but if you looked around there was rubbish in places that you thought wow looks like it has been there for a while and visible. Poorly maintained tv that was almost impossible to work with no instructions. Payed a lot more to upgrade to an apartment with a spa bath that didn’t work and when you let the water out you could hear it coming out straight into the bushes outside. Real shame as it would end up in there crystal clear water right there. Some of the staff were absolutely useless

My husband and I recently stayed at Iririki for a week and were really impressed with all aspects of the resort. We stayed in an Island Fare and it was gorgeous - the views over the harbour from the verandah room were especially lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to everyone and it was so nice to see them interacting with all the children. The food was a-maze-ing - really tasty and plentiful (I don't think we had an individual lunch all week). The amenities were great on the island and having the option of the boat transfer every few minutes gave you plenty of other options to go and do something else. Loved it all. My only niggle (and I really am splitting hairs) was that I didn't think they needed to clean the rooms every day - some days our room wasn't cleaned until 4pm which made it a little bit awkward.

The staff at Iririki Island were genuinely lovely and helpful. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, which looked beautiful but faced the city, this meant it was quite noisy at times with boat traffic and sounds from Port Vila. Snorkel Cove was a highlight of our stay, with clear water and great marine life.

Just spent 10 days at Iririki and stayed in an ocean view deluxe spa room. The view was amazing and the room was very clean. Iririki sits in a working port and many of the fares/bures/rooms sit directly across from a shipyard and the waterfront grounds which can make for some really noisy nights like music till 2:30am especially when a show is on, anyone paying this much money doesn’t want to be kept up this late, maybe tourism Vanuatu and the resort could have a chat! There were many guests in the same boat as us, with some late sleepless nights. The resort has a bit to go to get to 4 or 5 stars especially with the money your spending is currently 4 stars, just from general detail of fittings in rooms, bathrooms, bed comfort Buffet breakfast was nice everyday, with a good mix of choices available. Availability to kayaks and paddle boards good, snorkelling was easy but then end of the jetty easily tips people off, some sort of improved floating jetty (not the 4 x 44 gallon drums tied together just like my home dam!) would be great for the less stable of guests to ease into and out of the water, flippers need an upgrade as guests walk in them ruining them, although good for a chuckle)! The buffet dinner with either Melanesian dance or fire dance wasn’t all its cracked up to be and at ~$65 AUD was pretty steep for a buffet. The boat/ferry landing team were lovely and conscientious to help everyone. On the whole the stay was relaxing, easy and safe to get around Port Vila, Jim and front concierge staff were very helpful.

I visited this resort about 20 years ago and it was nothing like it is now. This place is idyllic views wise and has so much potential - maybe open a cafe where people can get a sandwich/roll etc and a drink/milkshake rather than having to order a meal. The buffet in the morning was disappointing as the hot food was always cold. Hate being so negative but for the amount of money charged for accommodation, food and beverage it was not good value.

The room we had was lovely, they are a good size and we had a nice view. Breakfasts are good, decent range of food. The location was great, just catch the free ferry and you and in the ‘city’. The resort was nice and staff were lovely. Pls remember this is a developing country, not everything is always easily accessible. If you can remember that you will have a great time.

Had the best time at Iririki for our honeymoon. It was absolutely perfect. Our room overlooked the water and it was cool, breezy, quiet. The staff at Iririki are phenomenal - really kind, everyone says hello and goes out of their way to make your time enjoyable. The food and drinks are awesome, the pools are clean and clear and refreshing. The ferry service is always running and you never have to wait more than a few minutes to catch it to Port Vila. Would definitely come here again and recommend this place to other people. Thank you Iririki resort!

The resort itself is great and majority of staff are friendly and welcoming. As return guests we were hoping to experience improvements in only a few areas, sadly this was not the case. Island-wide, unreliable and broken WiFi and TV, absolute chaos and confusion with the billing. Many of our fellow guests racked up huge mobile Internet bills as a result. Also, the lack of itemised billing can result in errors on checkout. Strongly suggest taking photos of each and every bill so they can be reconciled at checkout.

Seems to have a lot of staff but are not very efficient. Mostly are friendly but maybe not well trained in hospitality. A high standard does not seem to be a priority. 2 poorly presented cocktails cost over $40aud took away the essence of the environment focussing on a bit of a money grab. Constantly having to remind reception of no towels or glasses. No drinking water available in the room. Iririki is in a beautiful location and has loads of potential but really has work to do

As much as the location is great, the service is really appalling. I booked spa before I came in and when we went to the spa they turned us around so we had to book again. Service despite the fact numerous staff was slow and appalling. Room amenities were ok all in all ok stay

I liked that you could easily access the water sport activities and it has beautiful waters surrounding it. I did not like the check in process as I had to wait 2 hours then had to go back to the reception to ask for my bags. For check out i asked if I was able to check out 30mins or 1 hour later and i was told no. Considering I waited 2 hours for check in they should have as courtesy allowed me this.

Due to Air Vanuatu going into liquidation I was unable to get on a flight to the resort. Expedia and myself were trying to ring them well over a month trying to get a refund and we both were ignored! Sent emails that were also ignored until recently when I rang everyday constantly. Service on the phone was poor and negligent and they never rang me back like they would say and now they are refusing to give my money back even though I was trying to initiate the refund well in the time I was eligible. I would not recommend booking with this resort until they fix their service to customers. You will be ignored, redirected, neglected and treated poorly by their customer service team.

The property is great but the staff make it better. Everyone is kind and accomodating. The boat ride is quick and pleasant and is not at all restricting. The longest I had to wait was 5 minutes. It seems to be very popular with families with young children.

If you're concerned about needing to ferry to and from the island constantly - don't be. The ride takes about 2mins and the boat operates constantly. The longest you'll ever wait is 5 minutes. We stayed in a waterview fare though not over the water but still excellent. Island has pools on either side as with the bars and restaurants. This means even at peak time (after Christmas) it never feels full of people. The snorkelling was surprisingly excellent, heaps of fish including clown fish despite there not being a reef.

The property is great but the staff make it better. Everyone is kind and accomodating. The boat ride is quick and pleasant and is not at all restricting. The longest I had to wait was 5 minutes. It seems to be very popular with families with young children.

fantastic location for large group getaway - Port Vila still in state of disrepair which limited the options to eat/shop off island but the island itself is in fantastic location

Easy access to Port Vila. Except for the breakfast, food at the restaurants and bar is somehow unpredictable in quality, some is ok (e.g. chick wings), others not good at all (steak).

Very nice resort on its own small island. Free boat across to the town, takes about 2-3 minutes. Food at breakfast was good - with enough variety to please pretty much everyone. Only complaint would be food options for lunch and dinner are rather limited and not cheap.

Room was great, ocean front and spacious. Resort food was expensive compaired to other resorts we stayed at and was not any better tasting or better quality from our experience. Staff were lovely.

This was our 3rd time visiting Vanuatu, but first time at this particular hotel… The resort appeared somewhat tired and lacked the idyllic ‘island getaway’ vibe. Firstly, there was a severe shortage of sun loungers by the pools and at the beaches (at Snorkelers Cove and at the Watersports Beach you will find only a handful) - the single sun lounger on every room balcony could be relocated to the pool areas where they most likely will be utilised more. Secondly, the dining area is a bit run-down and feels more like a canteen rather than a resort restaurant - however, all of our meals were very tasty. Thirdly, on the subject of food and drinks - very overpriced. I was thinking this may be due to cost of living increases and supply due to the earthquake, however some patrons at other hotels informed me that they weren’t charged nearly so much for drinking and eating at their resorts…AU$ 6.50 for a can of coke, a local beer AU$ 11 and AU$ 11.50 for 4 thin slices of not-so-cheesy garlic bread, are some examples… Our accommodation (Island Fare) bathroom was worn, but clean, and all of the staff were very lovely, helpful and friendly. On our side of the island (the town side), there was a fair bit of noise throughout the day from the supply ships that were docked, and other building works that were happening (which can’t be helped, obviously). We love our holidays, and always enjoy ourselves wherever we might be, however we were a little bit disappointed this time :(

Iririki sits in a working port and many of the fares/bures/rooms sit directly across from a shipyard and the waterfront grounds which can make for some really noisy nights like music till 2:30am especially when a show is on, anyone paying this much money doesn’t want to be kept up this late, maybe tourism Vanuatu and the resort could have a chat! There were many guests in the same boat as us, with some late sleepless nights. The resort has a bit to go to get to 4 or 5 stars especially with the money your spending is currently 4 stars, just from general detail of fittings in rooms, bathrooms, bed comfort Buffet breakfast was nice everyday, with a good mix of choices available. Availability to kayaks and paddle boards good, snorkelling was easy but then end of the jetty easily tips people off, some sort of improved floating jetty (not the 4 x 44 gallon drums tied together just like my home dam!) would be great for the less stable of guests to ease into and out of the water, flippers need an upgrade as guests walk in them ruining them, although good for a chuckle)! The buffet dinner with either Melanesian dance or fire dance wasn’t all its cracked up to be and at ~$65 AUD was pretty steep for a buffet. The boat/ferry landing team were lovely and conscientious to help everyone. On the whole the stay was relaxing, easy and safe to get around Port Vila, Jim and front concierge staff were very helpful.

Loved the friendliness of the staff but for a reputable resort the service was a bit lacking. For the times we dined in Azure our drinks did not arrive until we had finished our meal. As we were on holidays we like to have a drink or two in the evening but due to the extreme slow service we did not bother. The bed in our unit was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on and it squeaked any time you moved or rolled over. The toilet seat was broken and there was a large loose tile in the shower. I visited this resort about 20 years ago and it was nothing like it is now. This place is idyllic views wise and has so much potential - maybe open a cafe where people can get a sandwich/roll etc and a drink/milkshake rather than having to order a meal. The buffet in the morning was disappointing as the hot food was always cold. Hate being so negative but for the amount of money charged for accommodation, food and beverage it was not good value.

Our eight night stay was a delight. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. We took the full board option, which in our opinion was a must and a real value add to our booking. The food choices are varied and the quality of food is outstanding. Some of the cooking was questionable when it comes to med/rare meat or not rendered lamb cutlets, but they definitely do seafood very well. What makes this a great holiday is the island of Iririki and the most happy friendly staff. Nothing was a problem and only too willing to do their job with an ever present smile and happy mood. The pool areas were very nice and well appointed. The beach and snorkelling areas need upgrading, but are still clean and serviceable.
