When we arrived, the receptionist was already outside waiting for us. The property is slightly aged, but very neat & clean. Our 2BR did not have a spec of dust and the air-con was already on when we walked in, which was nice. The pool area was nice with chairs / umbrellas. My kids & husband went kayaking, but the sea was choppy, so they came back quickly. We swam in the sea and saw lots of sea cucumbers, NOTE bring aqua shoes as the beach is very rocky and sharp for little feet. A-la-carte breakfast was great, my kids loved the pancakes & bacon, and I had the acai bowl or massive brekkie burger. Location wise, it's not walking distance to anything, will need to catch the bus for VT150 each way, to the supermarket or into town. There's a convenience store across the road, but a bit pricey. Overall a nice stay.

Very nice hotel, option to use a kayak on the small beach. Food was good, room was very clean. Town/shops is about a 30 min walk away. Our room was on the top floor and there is no lift so request a low floor if you don’t want to carry suitcases up stairs!

We experienced overall a very pleasant stay in a nice location with very helpful staff throughout. Some small maintenance items such as the pool area need attention to keep up the Resorts superior standard. Be sure you are allocated a room in the blocks along the lagoon not in the rear block up higher which is not very easy to access the pool or restaurant plus it has an inferior view. Blocks three to seven would be best away from the noise of the bar. The quality and price of the meals was on par with Melbourne but expect to wait a minimum of 30 minutes from ordering to receiving your meal. Thanks to the ever smiling staff.

The hotel staff are really the highlight of this property; everyone was very kind and helpful to us. The service was above and beyond. Special shout out to the Concierge team, including Miky, who made sure we had fun plans when ours fell through, and Bob and Frank at the pool. The restaurant at the hotel has good food for when you don't want to go outside, or just wanted to relax after a day of adventure. There are free kayak for guests to use, the pool is nice. We'll be happily return to Ramada for our future returns to Vanuatu.

Check if elevator is working if you can’t walk approximately 2 levels down stairs to the pool and restaurant before you go. Elevator was not working since earthquake in mid December and can be riatrictive to the elderly or disabled.

A great room and nice enough overall but the "hike" from and to reception is a bit of a downer .... having to rely on the golf car shuttle was a bit frustrating at peak times but the drivers and staff were very cheerful

Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed 6 nights in total and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the pool was so wonderful to swim in. We could borrow kayaks from the resort and kayak on the river too. So much fun and so relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay :-)

Front desk is a joke. No one welcomed us or helped us with our bags upon checking in. Nothing was explained about the resort as well. The resort was not busy at all yet service was always slow or none existent. Shower room constantly smelt like sewage. Asked for buggy rides to the top of the resort a few times and they never came: Always ended up walking.

We had a great stay at Ramada. The room was clean and well equipped and was a very comfy bed. The staff were incredible, they go above and beyond to make your holiday. Buggy service to get around the resort due to the hills if you require. The food was incredible and the views are lovely. Highly recommend this resort for your stay in Port Vila.

Nice place to stay with great facilities. Service at the restaurants and sports bar was great as staff were very friendly and always obliging. Room is roomy and clean except for ants daily coming into the kitchen. A bit irritating! Apart from that, an enjoyed stay.

The room is nice but there are some (recurring) issues with this hotel. The cable TV does not work. There is septic tank smell coming up through the drain pipes. There was no phone in the room (and they failed to bring it despite 3 seperate requests). The maid service is uneven (leave things in the trash, forget to put back towels, etc.). Its OK for Port Vila as long as you pay less than 15 000 Vatu per night for your room.

Could not fault the Ramada, it was clean, quiet, the staff were extremely friendly, the pool was just the right temperature, dining facilities excellent. The only thing I would like to see is a laundry guests could use (even if they had to pay). There was a service that the Ramada provided (charge per item - expensive).

The view from the lagoon suite was spectacular. Staff super friendly and helpful. Was disappointed that milk for tea and coffee was not replenished. The lift had internal hand rails that needed repair. The restaurant food was well presented and tasty.Would definately recommend friends to stay at the Ramada.

Great hotel especially for families and those wanting to option to be able to store their own food and drinks as it has a small kitchen. Beds are comfortable and bedding is lovely. Pull out sofa for child was quite hard but did the trick. Food at the restaurant was good (we recommend the steak!) Before we went we researched that tipping was not standard however we had a few uncomfortable exchanges with bar staff expecting a tip (we're happy to tip for great service however service at times at the bar was not amazing. There was one man in particular who working at he bar who was so lovely! We went to another hotel after and there was absolutely no expectation to tip and they even retuned change after we said not to worry about it.Beach/pool towels are scarce so i would recommend to bring your own if you can fit in your luggage. The comments about the hotel being on a cliff are valid but buggies are available and also the walk up/down isn't too bad. Also there is a small convenience store very close and a longer walk to a large supermarket (Which is amazing) and a bit further along is the markets. Great hotel especially for families and those wanting to option to be able to store their own food and drinks as it has a small kitchen. Beds are comfortable and bedding is lovely. Pull out sofa for child was quite hard but did the trick. Food at the restaurant was good (we recommend the steak!) Before we went we researched that tipping was not standard however we had a few uncomfortable exchanges with bar staff expecting a tip (we're happy to tip for great service however service at times at the bar was not amazing. There was one man in particular who working at he bar who was so lovely! We went to another hotel after and there was absolutely no expectation to tip and they even retuned change after we said not to worry about it.Beach/pool towels are scarce so i would recommend to bring your own if you can fit in your luggage. The comments about the hotel being on a cliff are valid but buggies are available and also the walk up/down isn't too bad. Also there is a small convenience store very close and a longer walk to a large supermarket (Which is amazing) and a bit further along is the markets. Overall a great hotel and would recommend and I would stay again.

The room is nice but there are some (recurring) issues with this hotel. The cable TV does not work. There is septic tank smell coming up through the drain pipes. There was no phone in the room (and they failed to bring it despite 3 seperate requests). The maid service is uneven (leave things in the trash, forget to put back towels, etc.). Its OK for Port Vila as long as you pay less than 15 000 Vatu per night for your room.

We had a great stay at Ramada. The room was clean and well equipped and was a very comfy bed. The staff were incredible, they go above and beyond to make your holiday. Buggy service to get around the resort due to the hills if you require. The food was incredible and the views are lovely. Highly recommend this resort for your stay in Port Vila.

The hotel staff are really the highlight of this property; everyone was very kind and helpful to us. The service was above and beyond. Special shout out to the Concierge team, including Miky, who made sure we had fun plans when ours fell through, and Bob and Frank at the pool. The restaurant at the hotel has good food for when you don't want to go outside, or just wanted to relax after a day of adventure. There are free kayak for guests to use, the pool is nice. We'll be happily return to Ramada for our future returns to Vanuatu.

The check in process was arduous. Took an hour to be allocated a room all while being told to ‘take a seat for a minute’ Staff didn’t really seem committed to helping us enjoy ourselves. Tv only had French movies Pool on Friday mornings has school children learning to swim so not really usable by guests - there should be a warning so we can make other plans

Front desk is a joke. No one welcomed us or helped us with our bags upon checking in. Nothing was explained about the resort as well. The resort was not busy at all yet service was always slow or none existent. Shower room constantly smelt like sewage. Asked for buggy rides to the top of the resort a few times and they never came: Always ended up walking.

When we arrived, the receptionist was already outside waiting for us. The property is slightly aged, but very neat & clean. Our 2BR did not have a spec of dust and the air-con was already on when we walked in, which was nice. The pool area was nice with chairs / umbrellas. My kids & husband went kayaking, but the sea was choppy, so they came back quickly. We swam in the sea and saw lots of sea cucumbers, NOTE bring aqua shoes as the beach is very rocky and sharp for little feet. A-la-carte breakfast was great, my kids loved the pancakes & bacon, and I had the acai bowl or massive brekkie burger. Location wise, it's not walking distance to anything, will need to catch the bus for VT150 each way, to the supermarket or into town. There's a convenience store across the road, but a bit pricey. Overall a nice stay.

Very nice hotel, option to use a kayak on the small beach. Food was good, room was very clean. Town/shops is about a 30 min walk away. Our room was on the top floor and there is no lift so request a low floor if you don’t want to carry suitcases up stairs!

Loved this resort! So remote but next to town which was great! The only way to transport to town was taxi and everything here is pricey but the resort itself was beautiful. We really didn’t need to see the other beaches because the beach there was just as beautiful. Really quiet, the gym was ok but the pool was barely used. Some staff were really nice and welcoming and some were just normal.

We experienced overall a very pleasant stay in a nice location with very helpful staff throughout. Some small maintenance items such as the pool area need attention to keep up the Resorts superior standard. Be sure you are allocated a room in the blocks along the lagoon not in the rear block up higher which is not very easy to access the pool or restaurant plus it has an inferior view. Blocks three to seven would be best away from the noise of the bar. The quality and price of the meals was on par with Melbourne but expect to wait a minimum of 30 minutes from ordering to receiving your meal. Thanks to the ever smiling staff.

Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed 6 nights in total and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the pool was so wonderful to swim in. We could borrow kayaks from the resort and kayak on the river too. So much fun and so relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay :-)

I would not recommend, we were given a room next to a permanent star who had children that were loud and thumping, clearly left alone whilst the staff was working, I knew it was someone permanent as there were potted plants on their balcony. The room was ok, water stains on ceiling were acceptable considering they had a cyclone. No lift to the room only stairs that had no lighting (dangerous when we had to leave early morning carrying our luggage down 3 flights of wet stairs whilst it was drizzling. It was not the $300/night lagoon view we were expecting. Staff at dinner were utterly non existent, we got our main and they never came back, we ordered the lobster with butter lemon caper sauce and crispy potatoes which was actually a small overcooked lobster with some butter, a slice of lime on a bed of fries… it was definitely not worth the cost! I will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone.

Could not fault the Ramada, it was clean, quiet, the staff were extremely friendly, the pool was just the right temperature, dining facilities excellent. The only thing I would like to see is a laundry guests could use (even if they had to pay). There was a service that the Ramada provided (charge per item - expensive).

Had a bad experience when a hotel driver didn’t collect us as scheduled at night and we felt in danger. Didn’t feel like evening staff knew much about the tours or options for transport available. We recently stayed at the Ramada Resort in Port Vila and overall had a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, which really made a positive impression. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well presented, with beautiful views across the bay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two days of our stay. Thankfully, the weather was relatively cool at the time, so it wasn’t too uncomfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options available each morning. My only criticism would be the coffee. There was no barista-made coffee available, and the machine coffee was probably the worst coffee I’ve had while travelling. I know that’s a first-world problem, but good coffee is one of life’s little holiday luxuries! I’d also suggest reconsidering promoting complimentary Wi-Fi as a guest benefit. The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable and often difficult to use. Despite those issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wonderful staff, comfortable accommodation and stunning bay views made for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We’d happily stay again and would recommend the resort to others looking for a relaxing stay in Port Vila.

The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable and often difficult to use. Despite those issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wonderful staff, comfortable accommodation and stunning bay views made for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We’d happily stay again and would recommend the resort to others looking for a relaxing stay in Port Vila.
