Clean rooms fine for one night traveling through Lee vining

This was a very clean and very updated place The only negatives that we had were that there was no water pressure and the staff did not speak in English

I arrived at this motel in the middle of winter - very much out of season - to find it in the middle of being remodelled, so there was no office or any staff present on my arrival. Actually it looked as if it might be closed, and there was no key out for me to do self check-in as explained with the booking. However, I found a bell to ring and after just a few minutes a nice man came down and gave me my key. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a very comfy bed, kitchenette and plenty of hot water for a shower in the morning. Plus the heating was quite efficient so I managed to warm the room up despite the extremely cold temps outside in Jan at this altitude! I rated it Good not Excellent due to the slightly quirky check-in.

We had a "Senior" suite, I believe. It was nice and clean but a little cramped for table space. Beds were really great! Best motel bed yet. The plates and bowls were a fail though. They are plastic and can't be used in the microwave. It even says "do not use in microwave" on the bottom of them. Please replace with ceramics. Very interested to see how the front restoration turns out.
